SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Monday]
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! Romans 11:33 [authorized King James Bible; AV]
Neuroscientist David Eagleman wrote: “Some readers walk away . . . with the impression that scientists think they have the big picture solved.” Then he added: “But good science is always open-minded, and the history of science is one of surprises.”
Down through the ages, talented scientists have indeed made surprising breakthroughs in their search for answers to puzzling questions about nature. Some, however, have also made serious errors in the process. Isaac Newton was one of the greatest scientists of all time. He showed how the force of gravitation binds the planets, stars, and galaxies into one universe. He invented calculus, a branch of mathematics used in computer design, space travel, and nuclear physics. However, Newton also pursued alchemy, a pseudoscience that used astrology and magical formulas in attempts to turn lead and other metals into gold.
Over 1,500 years before Newton, the Greek astronomer Ptolemy explored the heavens with his eyes alone. He tracked the planets across the night sky and was skilled as a mapmaker. But he believed that the earth was the center of everything. Astrophysicist Carl Sagan wrote of Ptolemy: “His Earth-centered universe held sway for 1,500 years, a reminder that intellectual capacity is no guarantee against being dead wrong.”
Today scientists face similar challenges in their pursuits. Will they ever find a complete explanation of the universe? While it is proper to acknowledge the progress science has made and the benefits it has brought us, it is also essential to bear in mind its limitations. Physicist Paul Davies observed: “The search for a closed logical scheme that provides a complete and self-consistent explanation for everything is doomed to failure.” Those words state an undeniable truth: Humans cannot completely understand the natural world. So when assertions are made about the potential of science to provide an explanation of everything that exists, it is only reasonable to take such assertions with reservations.
The Bible speaks of the wonders of nature in these words: “Look! These are just the fringes of [God’s] ways; only a faint whisper has been heard of him!” (Job 26:14) There remains a vast store of knowledge that is beyond human perception and understanding.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Tuesday]
You know that foreign rulers like to order their people around. And their greal leaders have full power over everyone they rule. But don’t act like them. If you want to be great, you must be the servant of all the others. Matthew 20:25-26 [Contemporary English Version: CEV]
Jesus’ (Yeshua) view of a spiritual shepherds’ role was different from that once manifested by James And John. The two apostles once sought to secure a prominent position in the Kingdom. However He corrected their attitude a Matthew 20:25-26 as shown above. Thus, the Apostles needed to resist a tendency toward wanting to ‘lord it over’ their companions, or to ‘order people around.’
And, the Apostle Paul said at Acts 20:18-19, “And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, after what manner I was with you all the time, serving the Lord with all lowliness of mind, and with tears, and with trials which befell me by the plots of the Jews;” [American Standard Version; ASV] In fact, the Apostle Paul was telling the Corinthians that he would not be master over their faith. Instead, he was a humble fellow worker for their joy. (2 Corinthians 1:24) Thus, the Apostle Paul set a fine example of humility and hard work for those taking the lead among the genuine followers of Christ today.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Wednesday]
Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:36 – 40 [authorized King James Bible; AV]
These scriptures clearly show the importance of love over all the other attributes of Almighty God (YHWH), and his son’s acknowledgement of this truth. At 1 John 4:8, “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” [AV]
Now if we have true love for others in our hearts, we will,
(1) NOT murder, but live in accordance with Exodus 20:13, “Thou shalt not kill.” [AV]
And will conform to what is written at 1 John 3:15, “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” [AV]
(2) We will live our lives in accordance with making and keeping the peace in compliance with Psalm 34:14, “Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” And, James 3:18, “And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” [AV]
(3) We will shun violence instead of promoting it as the false religion of Islam does in compliance with Psalm 11:5, “The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.”, and Proverbs 3:31 – 32, “Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. 32 For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.” [AV]

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Thursday]
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 1:31 (Authorized King James Bible; AV)
So Almighty God (YHWH) created a very good earth, and man was put on it to take care of it per Genesis 2:15, And Jehovah God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” [AV] However, mankind today is ruining the earth contrary to Almighty God’s (YHWH) purpose for it.
He is polluting it, and with respect to polluters, the Bible says at Isaiah 24:5 – 6, “The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.” [AV]
Almighty God (YHWH) will hold wanton destroyers of the environment accountable. He will, “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.” Revelation 11:18 [AV]. They will NOT get away with their actions.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [FRIDAY]
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name; 10 that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phillipians 2:8 – 11 [American Standard Version; ASV]
Because of Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) wholehearted devotion, Almighty God (YHWH) blessed him during his ministry on earth and rewarded him after his sacrificial death. The apostle Paul wrote: “being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross [[torture stake]].” For this very reason, Almighty God (YHWH) exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name, so that in the name of Jesus (Yeshua0 every knee should bend – of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground – and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus (Yeshua) Christ is Lord to the glory of Almighty God (YHWH), the Father. Almighty God (YHWH) blessed Jesus (Yeshua) ‘forever’ by resurrecting him to immortal life. (Romans 6:9).

Jer 3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: Jeremiah 3:14 [authorized King James Bible; AV]
Children need to obey their parents as highlighted by Ephesians 6:1 – 3, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” [AV]
Parents should teach their children properly per Ephesians 6:4, “And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”, and Colossians’ 3:21, “Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.” [AV]
A family must be founded on love and marriage mates and their children must love each other as shown at Ephesians 5:33, “Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” [AV]

Thine arrows are sharp; The peoples fall under thee; They are in the heart of the king’s enemies. Psalm 45:5 [American Standard Version; ASV]
The King is mounted on a white horse, representing warfare that is clean and righteous in Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) eyes. (Rev. 6:2; 19:11) In addition to a sword, he is equipped with a bow. We read: “I saw, and look! a white horse, and the one seated on it had a bow; and a crown was given him, and he went out conquering and to complete his conquest.” (Psalm 45:3 -4) Both the sword and the bow represent the means that Christ will use to execute judgment on his enemies.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Monday]
Serve Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all they that take refuge in him. Psalm 2:11 – 12 [American Standard Version; ASV]
As he rides forth, the King has a sword strapped on his side. (Ps. 45:3, (New World Translation Revised; [NWTr]) But the time comes for him to take the sword and wield it with his right hand. The psalmist prophesies: “Your right hand will accomplish awe-inspiring things.” (Ps. 45:4, [NWTr]) When Jesus Christ rides forth to execute Jehovah’s judgments at Armageddon, he will accomplish “awe-inspiring things” against his enemies. Just what means he will use to destroy Satan’s system, we do not know. But that action will strike terror in the heart of the inhabitants of the earth who have not heeded the divine warning to submit to the King’s rule. In his prophecy regarding the time of the end, Jesus said that people would become “faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” He added: “And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”—Luke 21:26, 27 [NWTr]

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Tuesday]
The Rock, his work is perfect; For all his ways are justice: A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, Just and right is he. Deuteronomy 32:4 [American Standard Version; ASV]
Almighty God (YHWH) is not driven by blind emotion as humans often are. Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) condemns unbridled rage, cruelty, and violence as testified to at Genesis 49:6 - 7, “O my soul, come not thou into their council; Unto their assembly, my glory, be not thou united; For in their anger they slew a man, And in their self–will they hocked an ox. 7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; And their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, And scatter them in Israel.” [AV], and Psalm 11:5, “Jehovah trieth the righteous; But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.” [AV] . So Almighty God (YHWH) never acts without reason. He uses his destructive power sparingly and as a last resort. It is as he stated through his prophet Ezekiel, “‘Do I take any pleasure at all in the death of a wicked person?’ declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. ‘Do I not prefer that he turn away from his ways and keep living?’” Ezekiel 18:23 [New World Translation Revised: NWTr].
Why, then, does Almighty God (YHWH) use destructive power? Before answering, we might call to mind the righteous man Job. Satan challenged whether Job – really, any human – would keep his integrity under trial. Almighty God (YHWH) answered that challenge by allowing Satan to test Job’s integrity. As a result, Job suffered illness, loss of wealth, and loss of his children. (Job 1:1 – 28). Unaware of the issues involved, Job mistakenly concluded that his suffering was unjust punishment from Almighty God (YHWH). He asked God why He had made him a ‘target,’ ‘an enemy.’ (Job 7:20, 13:24).

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Wednesday]
And in thy majesty ride on prosperously, Because of truth and meekness and righteousness: And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. Psalm 45:4 [American Standard Version; ASV]
The Warrior-King does not wage a war of conquest in order to occupy territories and subjugate peoples as do human armies. He wages a righteous war with noble objectives. He rides “in the cause of truth and humility and righteousness.” The greatest truth that must be defended is that of Jehovah’s universal sovereignty. Satan challenged the legitimacy of Jehovah’s ruler ship when he rebelled against Him. Since then, that fundamental truth has been disputed by both demons and humans. Now the time has come for Jehovah’s anointed King to ride forth to establish the truth of Jehovah’s sovereignty once and for all. And in thy majesty ride on prosperously, Because of truth and meekness and righteousness: And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. Psalm 45:4 [American Standard Version; ASV]
In what way does the King ride ‘in the cause of humility’? The King also rides ‘in the cause of humility.’ As Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) only-begotten Son, he himself has provided a sterling example of humility and loyal subjection to his Father’s sovereignty. (Isa. 50:4, 5; John 5:19) All loyal subjects of the King must follow his example and humbly submit to Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) sovereignty in all things. Only those who do so will be allowed to live in God’s promised new world.—(Zech. 14:16, 17)
How does Christ sally forth ‘in the cause of righteousness’? Christ also sallies forth ‘in the cause of righteousness.’ The righteousness that the King defends is “Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) righteousness”—Jehovah’s standards of what is right and what is wrong. (Rom. 3:21;Deut. 32:4) About the King Jesus Christ, Isaiah prophesied: “A king will reign for righteousness.” (Isa. 32:1) Jesus’ reign will usher in the promised “new heavens” and “new earth,” wherein “righteousness is to dwell.” (2 Pet. 3:13) Every inhabitant of that new world will be required to conform to Jehovah’s standards.—(Isa. 11:1-5)
