SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [Thursday]inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Acts 17:31, [American Standard Version; ASV]But before then, Almighty God (YHWH) is giving all sorts of people the opportunity to gain “an accurate knowledge of truth,” (per 1 Timothy 2:3 – 4) to act on that knowledge, and to be saved. Precious lives are at stake. If we are busy helping others to gain an accurate knowledge about God, the time remaining before the coming of Jehovah’s judgment will pass more quickly. Soon – even suddenly – time will run out. When it does, how glad we will be that we kept busy doing his will and telling others about Him.TO LEARN MORE ABOUT RELIGION AND THE BIBLE, GO TO,1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) To enjoy an online Bible study called “Follow the Christ” go to, …/Digital+Book+On+18+Part+Follow+C…Your Friend in Christ Iris89Francis David said it long ago, "Neither the sword of popes...nor the image of death will halt the march of truth. SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [Friday]
And for this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when ye received from us the word of the message, even the word of God, ye accepted it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also worketh in you that believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 [American Standard Version; ASV]
We should be giving thanks to Almighty God (YHWH) daily for his book of guidance for us, the Bible. The Bible is NOT the product of one committee or strongman. It has over 40 individual writers who wrote under divine inspiration/guidance putting the thoughts of God (YHWH) into the words of men much as transcribing secretaries today taking transcription and then later typing it out. In other words one real author, God (YHWH), and many scribes each of whom wrote in his own style over a period of approximately 1,600 years. All of what people call or consider inconsistencies are really not such, but most often just a problem of translation and/or understanding, i.e., lack of understanding of what the original writer writing in his own language and culture meant/said in his original writing. What is remarkable, is the writers over such a period of time all wrote in harmony when even most posters on threads on this forum can not even stay on track or subject over a period of a few days and/or weeks at most with the original subject of the thread. This fact of harmony over a period so great as to almost stagger the imagination shows that it had one guiding force or author who divinely inspired its writers as humans of their own volition can not keep on track over short periods of time.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [Saturday]
According to the grace of God which was given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder I laid a foundation; and another buildeth thereon. But let each man take heed how he buildeth thereon. 1 Corinthians 3:10 [American Standard Version; ASV]
This wonderful foundation that the Apostle Paul speaks of is none other than Jesus (Yeshua) Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:11) Regarding foundations upon which men build upon, the Apostle Paul used this as an illustration of the end outcomes for various foundations, “But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble; each man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire. Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:12-16. This illustrates the need to build on a strong foundation for all genuine true Christians, and this secure foundation for our faith is Almighty God’s Son, Jesus.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [Sunday]
And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14 [American Standard Version; ASV]
The Apostle Paul wrote this scripture under divine guidance to warn all Christians of the dangers existing from, “…false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:13 As in his day, these same dangers exist today, and James, Jesus’ half brother, wrote, “Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.” James 4:4. As a clear warning to all genuine true followers of Jesus (Yeshua) Christ to NOT get tangled up in the wicked affairs of this world that Satan the Devil has set-up to trap the unwary.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [Monday]
Know also this, that in the last days shall come dangerous times. 2 Timothy 3:1 (Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible: DRCB)
It is good to note that Paul introduced the prophecy about the last days with the expression, ‘know…this.’ Those words guarantee that what follows is certain to occur. There is no doubt that ungodly society will continue to advance from bad to worse until Almighty God (YHWH) steps in to end it. Historians have documented that here or there some society or nation experienced a steep moral decline and then collapsed. Never before in history, though, has the overall morality of the entire world deteriorated to the extent that is has now. Many people may ignore the implications, but this unique development since 1914 should clearly demonstrate to us that we can trust that Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) Kingdom will soon take decisive action.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [Tuesday]
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matthew 25:40 [authorized King James Bible; AV]
Jesus (Yeshua) has been speaking to Peter, Andrew, James, and John, his close companions. They have just heard him relate illustrations about the faithful and discreet slave, the ten virgins, and the talents. Jesus concludes his discussion with one more parable. He describes a time when “the Son of man” will judge “all the nations.” How this illustration must have fascinated his disciples! In it, Jesus focuses on two groups, one classed as sheep and the other as goats. And he highlights an important third group that he identifies as “brothers” of “the King.” at Matthew 25:31-46, “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Almighty God’s [YHWH’s] people have long been intrigued by this illustration and rightly so, for in it Jesus (Yeshua) speaks about the fate of people. He reveals why some will receive everlasting life while others will be cut off in death forever. Our lives depend on our understanding the truths Jesus conveyed and acting on them. With so much at stake, we should ask: How has Jehovah progressively clarified our understanding of this illustration? Why can we say that the illustration emphasizes the importance of the preaching work? Who is it that receives the commission to preach? And why is now the time to be loyal to “the King” and to those he calls “my brothers”?

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [Wednesday]
But in the latter days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of Jehovah’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem; Micah 4:1 – 2, [American Standard Version; ASV]
Micah died long ago and this prophecy is still in the future with respect fulfillment. Even so, lhe was determined to remain loyal to Almighty God (YHWH) even to death, no matter what others around him did. In this regard, Micah wrote, “For all the peoples walk every one in the name of his god; and we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God for ever and ever.” (Micah 4:5). Micah could wait patiently during distressing times because he had absolute confidence that Almighty God (YHWH) would fulfill all of His promises. The faithful prophet trusted in Almighty God (YHWH).

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [THURSDAY]
And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. Isaiah 13:19 [American Standard Version; ASV]
Babylon was a great and powerful city in its time, but Almighty God (YHWH) foretold its destruction and non-inhabitance after defeat by Cyrus over 200 years before he was even born. Isaiah recorded His prophecy of judgment against Babylon. (Isaiah 13:29 to 23, and Isaiah 14:22 to 24). This prophecy was very clear and details were given to show just how this would occur; to wit, Invading armies of Cyrus would dry up Babylon’s river and march into the city without a battle. But this is not all. Isaiah’s prophecy even named the king who would conquer Babylon. (Isaiah 44:27 to Isaiah 45:2).
This prophecy of doom against Babylon was realized some 200 years later – on the night of October 5/6, 539 B.C.E. an army encamped near Babylon and its commander was a Persian king named Cyrus. The stage was set for the fulfillment of this amazing prophecy, and the invasion took place exactly as prophesized.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Friday]
You know that foreign rulers like to order their people around. And their greal leaders have full power over everyone they ruld. But don’t act like them. If you want to be great, you must be the servant of all the others. Matthew 20:25-26 [Contemporary English Version: CEV]
Jesus’ (Yeshua) view of a spiritual shepherds’ role was different from that once manifested by James And John. The two apostles once sought to secure a prominent position in the Kingdom. However He corrected their attitude a Matthew 20:25-26 as shown above. Thus, the Apostles needed to resist a tendency toward wanting to ‘lord it over’ their companions, or to ‘order people around.’
And, the Apostle Paul said at Acts 20:18-19, “And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, after what manner I was with you all the time, serving the Lord with all lowliness of mind, and with tears, and with trials which befell me by the plots of the Jews;” [American Standard Version; ASV] In fact, the Apostle Paul was telling the Corinthians that he would not be master over their faith. Instead, he was a humble fellow worker for their joy. (2 Corinthians 1:24) Thus, the Apostle Paul set a fine example of humility and hard work for those taking the lead among the genuine followers of Christ today.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Sunday]
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1 [authorized King James Bible; AV]
Scientists estimate that the earth is about 4 billion years old and that the universe was born some 13 to 14 billion years ago. The Bible sets no date for the creation of the universe. In no place does it affirm that the earth is only a few thousand years old. But some in error try to liken creative days to literal days, a gross error.
However, the Bible contains accurate information written down many centuries ago. How did those writers come up with such accurate information when even the most learned people of their time were ignorant of such things? The Bible’s Author answers: “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9. [AV]
For example the Bible reveals the earth is hung on nothing at Job 26:7, “He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.” [AV] . Also, it gives sanitation instructions in keeping with science; to wit, regarding sanitation, the law ordered the Israelites to care for their waste in a private place outside their encampment whose purpose was unknown to the people in the day, it was written at Deuteronomy 23:12 – 13, “Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad: 13 And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:” [AV].
In fact Genesis chapter 1 uses the term “day” to set out the stages in the preparation of the earth for life in all its diverse forms, not as an exact period of time.. The culminating event in this simple description was the appearance of humans. The Bible fixes no duration for the six creative “days.” Instead, it opens the door for modern scientists to study them and assign accurate time spans to them. We know that the creative “days” were much longer than 24-hour days.
