Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    An Understanding Of Isaiah 44:6:

[1]       SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 548A]

They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.   Proverbs 11:20, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

The Apostle Luke brings out that the end of the ways of the wicked are not good and shows this at Luke 12:20, [AV] “But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?”  And that the ways of the righteous will be good in the end as shown at Proverbs 10:28, [AV] “The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.”

[2]       An Understanding Of Isaiah 44:6:

INTRODUCTION:

Let's look at Isaiah 44:6 in several Bible transladions:

Thus saith the Lord the king of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and besides me there is no God. (Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible; DRCB)

Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. (Authorized King James Bible; AV)

Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God. (American Standard Version; ASV)

Thus, saith Yahweh--King of Israel, Even his Redeemer, Yahweh of hosts,--I, am, First, and, I, Last, And, besides me, there is, no God. (Rotherham Bible of 1902; RB)

Thus said Jehovah, king of Israel, And his Redeemer, Jehovah of Hosts: 'I am the first, and I the last, And besides Me there is no God. (Young's Literal Translation; YLT)

As we can readily see they all basically say the same thing, but many have difficulty understanding what the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, meant by "I am the first, and I am the last."    Now let's look into this in detail to clear up any misunderstanding.

"THE FIRST AND THE LAST"

First let's look at Revelation 1:17-18, "And when I had seen him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying: Fear not. I am the First and the Last,  18  And alive, and was dead. And behold I am living for ever and ever and have the keys of death and of hell." (DRCB).   Jesus (Yeshua) Christ, and says, "Thus saith the Lord the king of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and besides me there is no God." (Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible; DRCB).   -Special note, In the original Hebrew, Isaiah 44:6, there is no definite article with the words 'first' and 'last.'   Whereas in Jesus (Yeshua) description of himself in the original Koine Greek at Revelation 1:17, the definite article is found.   So, grammatically, Revelation 1:17 indicates a title, whereas Isaiah 44:6 describes the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, Godship.-  Now, when Jesus (Yeshua) presents himself y the title "the First and the Last," he is not claiming equality with the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, his Father, but is using a title bestowed or given to him by his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is.

Whereas, in Isaiah 44:6, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, was making a statement about His unique position as the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is.   He, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, is God eternal, and besides him there is indeed no God as highlighted by 1 Timothy 1:17, "Now to the king of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." (DRCB).

Whereas, in Revelation, Jesus (Yeshua) is speaking about his bestowed title, calling attention to his unique resurrection.

Therefore, Jesus (Yeshua) was indeed 'the first' human to be resurrected to immortal spirit life per Colossians 1:18, "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he may hold the primacy:" (DRCB).   Moreover, he is 'the last' to be resurrected by the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is.   Therefore, he becomes 'the living one...living for ever and ever,' when his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, bestows immortality on him per John 6:57,[6:58 in (DRCB)], "As the living Father hath sent me and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, the same also shall live by me." (DRCB).   Jesus (Yeshua) now enjoys immortality since his immortal Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, who is called per Revelation 7:2, "And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the sign of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea," (DRCB), and Psalm 42:2, "[41:3 in (DRCB)], "My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?" (DRCB).   For all others of humanity, Jesus (Yeshua), himself, is per John 11:25, "Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, although he be dead, shall live:" (DRCB).   Therefore in harmony with this, Jesus (Yeshua) says to the Apostle John, per Revelation 1:18, "And alive, and was dead. And behold I am living for ever and ever and have the keys of death and of hell." (DRCB), as the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, has given to him the authority to resurrect the dead at judgment day.   This is also shown at Matthew 16:17-18, "And Jesus answering said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven.
18  And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (DRCB).

COMBINATION OF THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND THE RARE FRUIT TREES AND VEGETABLES.   With the Scripture of the Day first.

[1]       SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 549A]

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.   1 Timothy 4:12, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

The Apostle Paul clearly showed that he wanted all genuine followers, regardless of age, at Philippians 3:12, [AV] “Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.”  And that they were per Colossians 3:12, [AV] “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;”  Why?  Because as shown by Jesus’s (Yeshua’s) brother at James 3:17, [AV] “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”

Description

Trees are up to 12 m tall. Bark is smooth, and dark brown in color; blaze white.
Leaves simple, opposite, decussate; petiole 0.6-1.5 cm long, canaliculate, sheathing at base, glabrous; lamina 6.5-15 x 3.5-8 cm, usually elliptic, sometimes narrow obovate, apex acute to acuminate, base attenuate; coriaceous or subcoriaceous, glabrous; secondary_nerves 6-8 pairs; tertiary_nerves obscure.
Flowers show inflorescence and are dioecious; male flowers in fascicles, axillary; female flowers larger than male, solitary, axillary.
Uses
Ripe fruits can be eaten but they are very acidic. Just like other garcinia varieties such as kokum (which is prevalent in the Indian west coast) or garcinia pedunculata, the fruit can be preserved by slicing into thin pieces and then drying under sun. It can be made into pickles. Bodos cook the unripe fruit as vegetable with fish. Achutney can be made by boiling the fruit. In Assam, dried and preserved slices are added to black green pulses to make a popular slightly acidic curry. Dried up fruit slices are valued as a traditional remedy for dysentery.[2] In Ayurveda the fruits are used in the treatment of dysentery, gastritis, etc. and is said to have anti inflammatory properties.[3] When the bark is cut it exudes a yellow resin calledgamboge that is used in food, paints and medicines. It can be used as a rootstock for the mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana).[4]

COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    Does the True God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, Creator of All There is, Really Care?

[1]   SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 550A]

There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,  Deuteronomy 18:10, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

In the early days of ancient Israel, all the nations around it practiced divination, sorcery, and other detestable acts as recorded at Leviticus 18:21, [AV] “And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.”  And many practiced human sacrifices of mostly children and this fact was recorded by the Prophet Jeremiah at Jeremiah 19:5, [AV] “Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.”  These detestable acts were still practiced in the first century as recorded by the Apostle Luke at
Acts 16:16, [AV] “And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:”  But those who became genuine followers of Jesus (Yeshua) got rid of all things associated with these detestable acts when they became his genuine followers as testified to at
Acts 19:19, [AV] “Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.”

[2]         Does the True God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, Creator of All There is, Really Care?

INTRODUCTION:

We see important members of various religions getting seriously out of line, driven by hate and greed, and a lust for violence against their fellow man.   This causes many to question whether the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, really cares about us.

For example, in Northern Ireland we have a Bishop, Dr. Ian Paisley, who constantly strokes hate and violence in North Ireland, and prejudice.   He is fiercely anti-Catholicism, and often condemned for using extreme and provocative language against Roman Catholicism.   Many feel he is indirectly responsible for much of the violence in Northern Ireland, and does not practice what Jesus (Yeshua) Christ said at John 13:34-35 with respect his genuine (true) followers having, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  35  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." (Authorized King James Bible; AV).

But, he is only a minor deviant from John 13:34-35 as compared to Sheik Usama bin Ladin [Osama bin Ladin] who while claiming to be a very devote man has practiced some of the most evil hate, greed, and violence in the name of religion.   For example, he and his followers committed many unthinkable wicked acts such as the following:

(1) World Trade Center - 9/11 - unprovoked attack and mass murder by Muslims.[1]
(2) London Subway Bombing by Muslims [2]
(3) Continued mosque bombings in Iraq by Muslims.[3]
(4) Suicide bombings in Israel by Muslims.[4]
(5) Suicide bombing of a wedding reception in Jordan by Muslims.[5]
(6) Daily roadside bombings in Iraq by Muslims.[6]
(7) Train bombings in Spain my Muslims.[7]
(8) Suicide bombings in Iraq by Muslims.[8]
(9) Car and truck bombings in Iraq by Muslims.[9]
(10) Bombing of restaurants and cafes in Bali, Indonesia by Muslims.[10]
(11) And the list could go on and on, get it?

Activity like this, sadly makes many individuals feel that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, does not care about us since the live in a world full of hatred, war, and suffering.   If the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, really cared, they reason, he surely would do something to prevent these tragic happenings and the activity of false religion in making this world such a bad place to live.

RELIGIOUS LEADERS HAVE MADE PEOPLE THINK THAT GOD DOES NOT CARE ABOUT US:

Another reason why people think that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, does not care about us is that religious leaders have made them feel that way by their wrong actions.   What do clergymen often say when tragedy strikes?   Let's look at an example.

When one women lost her two small children in an automobile accident, her clergyman said: "It was God's will.  God needed two more angels."   When clergymen made such comments, they are actually blaming the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, for the bad things that happen.

Yet, the disciple James wrote at James 1:13, "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:" (AV), so far be it from the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, to act wickedly as highlighted at Job 34:10, "Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity." (AV).

Then why, is there so much wickedness and suffering?   One reason is that mankind in general lhas rejected the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, as ruler, not wanting to submit to his righteous laws and principles.  Humans have unwittingly submitted to the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, arch enemy, Satan the Devil as shown at 1 John 5:19, "And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness." (AV).   Therefore, it is easy to understand why bad situations exist.   Satan is evil, hateful, deceptive, and cruel as are his followers in false religion.   So we should expect the world to reflect the personality of its ruler and his unknowing followers-no wonder there is so much wickedness!

HUMAN IMPERFECTION - ANOTHER REASON FOR SUFFERING:

Human imperfection is also another reason for the great suffering we are now experiencing.   Sinful humans tend to struggle for dominance due to their hate, greed, and a lust for violence.   This struggle often results in wars, oppressions, and much suffering.   Ecclesiastes 8:9 aptly says, "All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt." (AV).  Also, as brought out at Ecclesiastes 9:11 that unforeseen occurrences cause much suffering, "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all." (AV).   Thus, individuals often experience calamity because they are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

However, it is comforting to learn that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, is not the cause of suffering.   But does the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, truly care about what is going on in our lives?   The wonderful heartwarming answer is an emphatic YES.   We know that he cares because his inspired word, the Bible, tells us why he has allowed humans to pursue a wicked course.  The true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, reasons involve two issues, in this article we shall deal with only one:

[1] His sovereignty and the integrity of humans.   He was not obligated to tell us whey he permits suffering; however, because he cares about us, he does.   Let's consider further evidence that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, indeed does care about us.  Let's look at how he felt when badness filled the earth per Genesis 6:5-6, "And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.  6 ¶  And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart." (AV).

Now, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, feels no differently today as revealed by Malachi 3:6, "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." (AV).   He detests injustice and hates to see people suffer.   The inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, the Bible, reveals that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, will soon undo all the harm that has resulted from human misrule and from the influence of Satan the Devil.   So as can be seen, this is convincing proof that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, does indeed care about us.

CONCLUSION:

Religious leaders have been shown to misrepresent the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, when they say that the tragedies we experience are his will.   On the contrary, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, longs to end human suffering as shown by 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." (AV).   But he warns us at 1 Peter 5:8-9, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  9  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world." (AV), to be on guard against his arch-enemy, the deceiver Satan the Devil.

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.  7  Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.   Mark 7:6 – 7, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

This same truth was recorded by the Apostle Matthew at Matthew 15:7 – 9, [AV] “Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  9  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”  The Apostle Paul warned all genuine followers of Jesus (Yeshua) of this danger at Colossians 2:8, [AV] “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

[2]       Why Are We Here?

INTRODUCTION:

Many wonder why mankind is on earth, but the answer is found in the inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, the Bible.

The world's religions often answer that man is on the earth only temporarily.   They view our earth as just a temporary home for mankind or as little more than a stopover on the way to life somewhere else.   Some clergymen wrongly teach that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, will someday destroy this planet by global warming or other means.

As a result of these false teachings, many people have concluded that they are better off living life to the limit while they are able to as only death awaits them.   However, what does the Bible actually teach about why we are here?

WHY WE ARE HERE PER THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD (yhwh), THE BIBLE?

The true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, has a wonderful purpose in mind for all of obedient mankind.   He, per Isaiah 45:28, "For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else." (Authorized King James Bible; AV) made it to be inhabited.

He, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, per Psalms 104:5, "Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever." (AV).   Clearly showing that the true God's (YHWH's) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, intended for the earth to be the home for obedient mankind.

This fact is clearly shown in Genesis chapters 1 and 2 as follows, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 ¶  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 ¶  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 ¶  And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10  And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12  And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13  And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14 ¶  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15  And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17  And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18  And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19  And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20 ¶  And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21  And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22  And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23  And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 ¶  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25  And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 ¶  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 ¶  And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30  And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 ¶  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
1 ¶  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2  And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3  And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
4 ¶  These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
5  And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6  But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 ¶  And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9  And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
10  And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11  The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12  And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13  And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14  And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
15  And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 ¶  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18 ¶  And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19  And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20  And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21 ¶  And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22  And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25  And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed." (AV).

Which shows how he carefully prepared the earth for humans and provided plants for their food and animals for them to enjoy, and the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, noted at Genesis 1:31, "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." (AV).

In fact, this was clearly shown when the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, placed the first man and women, Adam and Eve, in the lovely garden paradise called Eden and supplied them with an abundance of good food.   He told the first human pair at Genesis 1:26-28, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." (AV).   He intended they to have perfect children and to extend the boundaries of their paradise garden home earth wide, and to exercise loving dominion over the animals.

CONCLUSION:

As can be readily seen, it was the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, purpose to have a perfect human family dwelling eternally on the earth.   This fact, was highlighted at Psalm 37:29, "The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever." (AV).  Thus, mankind was meant to enjoy everlasting life in a paradise on earth; this is the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, purpose, and it is what is taught in the inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, the Bible.

Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    What Happens to Humans at Death?
[1]       The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.  12  And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.  13  And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.   Genesis 6:11 -13, [AV] “

Yes, in the days of Noah, a righteous man, Almighty God (YHWH) was disgusted with what most of mankind had done to the earth; to wit, changing it from a righteous paradise into a den of evil.  He saw everything that was occurring on earth as shown at Hebrews 4:13, [AV] “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”  He searches the righteous, but hates the workers of evil as shown at Psalms 11:5, [AV] “The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.”

Today, this world is approaching the conclusion of the end times for its wicked system just as in the days of Noah.  This is made clear at Revelation 11:18, [AV] “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”  Yes, it is similar to the days before the Almighty wiped the earth clean in Noah’s day per Matthew 24:38, [AV] “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,”  Since the conclusion of the end times is at hand we must be vigilant per 1 Peter 4:7, [AV] “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.”
[2]       What Happens to Humans at Death?

INTRODUCTION:

Many wonder what happens to humans at death, and most of the world's religions give many different and conflicting answers to this question.  Most of the world's religions teach that something inside of a human continues to live on after the body dies.

Some religious groups even believe that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, punishes the wicked by subjecting them to eternal suffering is a fiery hell.  But what is the real truth in keeping with John 8:32, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (Authorized King James Bible; (Authorized King James Bible; AV)?  What does the inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, really teach about death?

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE REALLY TEACH ABOUT DEATH?

Now, the inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, states at Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 and 10, "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.  6  Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." and "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest." (Authorized King James Bible; AV).

The inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, clearly shows that the dead are NOT conscious of anything at all; they cannot hear, see, speak, feel, or think.   The no longer earn any wages.   They are incapable of any work!    Also, they no longer love, hate, or have greed for they can not express of have any emotions.

What the inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, says on the subject is quite simple and clear; the dead do NOT continue to live somewhere.   To wit, there is nothing that leaves our body at death and lives on somewhere so as to be reborn in another body.   There is no reincarnation a false belief that many believe in.   This can be illustrated by the flame of a candle that while it flickers and burns exist, but when the flame is extinguished, it simply goes out and does not go anywhere.

Now think of the implications that this one simple powerful truth has!   When a student of the inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, learns this truth that the dead are not conscious, he/she should easily be able to reason that no matter how hateful or greedy were his dead ancestors during life, they can not trouble him.   He/she should also quickly grasp the fact that his/her dead loved ones are incapable of hearing, seeing, speaking, feeling, and/or thinking.

CONCLUSION:

This simple to understand fact clearly shows that dead humans can not be experiencing unbearable loneliness in purgatory or be eternally tortured in a fiery hell.  The inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, the Bible clearly teaches that the dead who are in the true God's (YHWH's) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is,  memory will be resurrected.   What a wonderful hope that is assured us per John 5:28-29, "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,  29  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." (AV).

Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    Slavery in Islam - A Look at the Facts:

[1]       SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 553A]

Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6  Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.   Philippians 3:5 – 6, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

The Old Law Covenant that covered Hebrews only required par Genesis 17:12, [AV] “And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed”  The Apostle Paul made it clear to those around him per Romans 11:1, [AV] “I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.”  Yes, he made it quite clear to the crowd that he to was a Hebrew as testified to at 2 Corinthians 11:22, [AV] “Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.”  Paul well knew the various divisions among the Jews so one time when the council in Jerusalem was putting him on trial for his teachings, he made use of this knowledge as shown at Acts 23:6, [AV] “But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.”

[2]       Slavery in Islam - A Look at the Facts:

INTRODUCTION:

Islam likes to charge apostate (counterfeit) so called Christianity with condoning and practicing slavery which of course they did, but turns away from the fact that Islam practiced slavery including Muhammad (pbuh) himself and parts of Islam still practice slavery.    Of course, this is hypocritical on the part of Islam marking it as a dishonest false religion that is like an Ostrich who hides its head in sand if it does not want to see something.

It is the only major religion who still practices slavery, this taking place in Africa to day in Sudan and elsewhere.   In fact, this situation is very bad in the Darfur section of the Sudan where not only is slavery practiced by members of Islam, but rape by those who are Muslims.

Let's look at the facts today:

SLAVERY - THE FACTS WITHIN ISLAM:

Now let's look at the facts as presented in an encyclopedia.

<<<"The major juristic schools of Islam have historically accepted the institution of slavery[1]; however, in modern time this has become a contentious issue Muhammad and those of his companions who could afford it themselves owned slaves, and some of them acquired more by conquest[stealing them.].   However, the Islamic dispensation enormously improved the position of the Arabian slave through the reforms of a humanitarian tendency both at the time of Muhammad and the later early caliphs.   In Islamic law, the topic of Islam and slavery is covered at great length.   The legal legislations brought two major changes to the practice of slavery inherited from antiquity, from pagan Rome, and from Byzantium, which were to have far-reaching effects.   Bernard Lewis considers these reforms to be the cause of the vast improvements in the practice of slavery in Muslim lands.   The reforms also seriously limited the supply of new slaves.

The Qur'an considers emancipation of a slave to be a meritorious deed, or as a condition of repentance for certain sins[but does not require their emancipation].  The Qur'an and Hadith contain numerous passages supporting this view.   Muslim jurists considered slavery to be an exceptional circumstance, with the basic assumption of freedom until proven otherwise.   Furthermore, as opposed to pre-Islamic slavery, enslavement was limited to two scenarios: capture in war[stealing.], or birth to slave parents (birth to parents where one was free and the other not so would render the offspring free)[sounds like typical slavery].

Slavery in Islam does not have racial or color component, although this ideal has not always been put into practice. Nevertheless, historically, black slaves could rise to important positions in Muslim nations.   In early Islamic Arabia, Slaves were often African blacks from across the Red Sea, but by expansion of the Islamic empire in later times, slaves could be Berbers from North Africa, Slavs from Europe, Turks from Central Asia, or Circassians from the Caucasus.   The majority of slaves throughout the history of Arabia were, however, of African origin.   The Arab slave trade was most active in eastern Africa, although by the end of the 19th century such activity had reached a significantly low ebb.   The slavery in the Arab World in the 19th century has been documented by Dr. Christiaan Snouck Hurgronje, an Arabist and a scholar of Indonesian affairs, who had visited Mecca during his journey in the Hijaz.   He states in his book Mohammedanism that "Slaves in the Arab world are generally not that different from servants and workers in Europe" and that their masters "handled them with a genial humanity that made their lot no worse - perhaps better, as more secure - than that of a factory worker in nineteenth-century Europe."

It was in the early 20th century (post World War I) that slavery gradually became outlawed and suppressed in Muslim lands, largely due to pressure exerted by Western nations such as Britain and France (although the extent to which it died out and/or flared up again is disputed)." [source - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia]>>>.

Also, researchers at Ohio State University (OSU) said the following:

<<<" WHEN EUROPEANS WERE SLAVES: RESEARCH SUGGESTS WHITE SLAVERY WAS MUCH MORE COMMON THAN PREVIOUSLY BELIEVED
COLUMBUS, Ohio - A new study suggests that a million or more European Christians were enslaved by Muslims in North Africa between 1530 and 1780 - a far greater number than had ever been estimated before.

In a new book, Robert Davis, professor of history at Ohio State University, developed a unique methodology to calculate the number of white Christians who were enslaved along Africa's Barbary Coast, arriving at much higher slave population estimates than any previous studies had found.

Most other accounts of slavery along the Barbary coast didn't try to estimate the number of slaves, or only looked at the number of slaves in particular cities, Davis said. Most previously estimated slave counts have thus tended to be in the thousands, or at most in the tens of thousands. Davis, by contrast, has calculated that between 1 million and 1.25 million European Christians were captured and forced to work in North Africa from the 16th to 18th centuries.
Davis's new estimates appear in the book Christian Slaves, Muslim Masters: White Slavery in the Mediterranean, the Barbary Coast, and Italy, 1500-1800 (Palgrave Macmillan).

"Much of what has been written gives the impression that there were not many slaves and minimizes the impact that slavery had on Europe," Davis said. "Most accounts only look at slavery in one place, or only for a short period of time. But when you take a broader, longer view, the massive scope of this slavery and its powerful impact become clear."

Davis said it is useful to compare this Mediterranean slavery to the Atlantic slave trade that brought black Africans to the Americas. Over the course of four centuries, the Atlantic slave trade was much larger - about 10 to 12 million black Africans were brought to the Americas. But from 1500 to 1650, when trans-Atlantic slaving was still in its infancy, more white Christian slaves were probably taken to Barbary than black African slaves to the Americas, according to Davis....

"Enslavement was a very real possibility for anyone who traveled in the Mediterranean, or who lived along the shores in places like Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, and even as far north as England and Iceland," he said.
Pirates (called corsairs)[members of Islam] from cities along the Barbary Coast in north Africa - cities such as Tunis and Algiers - would raid ships in the Mediterranean and Atlantic, as well as seaside villages to capture men, women and children.   The impact of these attacks were devastating - France, England, and Spain each lost thousands of ships, and long stretches of the Spanish and Italian coasts were almost completely abandoned by their inhabitants.   At its peak, the destruction and depopulation of some areas probably exceeded what European slavers would later inflict on the African interior.

Although hundreds of thousands of Christian slaves were taken from Mediterranean countries, Davis noted, the effects of Muslim slave raids was felt much further away: it appears, for example, that through most of the 17th century the English lost at least 400 sailors a year to the slavers.[Islam should return these to England, but has failed to do so or pay England.].

Even Americans were not immune. For example, one American slave reported that 130 other American seamen had been enslaved by the Algerians in the Mediterranean and Atlantic just between 1785 and 1793.

Davis said the vast scope of slavery in North Africa has been ignored and minimized, in large part because it is on no one's agenda to discuss what happened.

The enslavement of Europeans doesn't fit the general theme of European world conquest and colonialism that is central to scholarship on the early modern era, he said. Many of the countries that were victims of slavery, such as France and Spain, would later conquer and colonize the areas of North Africa where their citizens were once held as slaves.  Maybe because of this history, Western scholars have thought of the Europeans primarily as "evil colonialists" and not as the victims they sometimes were, Davis said.

Davis said another reason that Mediterranean slavery has been ignored or minimized has been that there have not been good estimates of the total number of people enslaved.   People of the time - both Europeans and the Barbary Coast slave owners - did not keep detailed, trustworthy records of the number of slaves. In contrast, there are extensive records that document the number of Africans brought to the Americas as slaves....

"The only way I could come up with hard numbers is to turn the whole problem upside down - figure out how many slaves they would have to capture to maintain a certain level," he said. "It is not the best way to make population estimates, but it is the only way with the limited records available."...

The result is that between 1530 and 1780 there were almost certainly 1 million and quite possibly as many as 1.25 million white, European Christians enslaved by the Muslims of the Barbary Coast.   Davis said his research into the treatment of these slaves suggests that, for most of them, their lives were every bit as difficult as that of slaves in America....

Davis said his findings suggest that this invisible slavery of European Christians deserves more attention from scholars.   "We have lost the sense of how large enslavement could loom for those who lived around the Mediterranean and the threat they were under," he said. "Slaves were still slaves, whether they are black or white, and whether they suffered in America or North Africa."[source - Research, Ohio State University by Jeff Grabmeier]>>>.

CONCLUSION:

Both apostate (counterfeit) so called Christians and Muslims starting with Muhammad (pbuh) himself were equally guilty with respect the slave trade, yet members point a finger at apostate (counterfeit) Christians without realizing three fingers, maybe four, are pointing back at themselves.   This is dishonest hypocrisy on the part of Islam.

Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND THE RARE FRUIT TREES AND VEGETABLES.   With the Scripture of the Day first.

[1]       SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 554A]

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.  13  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.  Philippians 2:11 – 14, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

It is important not only that you confess Jesus (Yeshua), but that you believe in him as testified to at Romans 10:9, [AV] “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”  And to the natural born Jews, the Apostle Luke, testified to at Acts 2:36, [AV] “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”  Yes, all should turn to God per Psalms 22:27, [AV] “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.”

But we must learn to distinguish between good and bad per Romans 16:19, [AV] “For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.”

[2]       Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Garcinia nitida a very rare tree.

ABSTRACT:
The study on enhancing germination of Garcinia kola was conducted using 5 pre-treatments. These included soaking seeds in cold water for 96, 72, and 48 hours for treatments 1, 2, and 3 respectively, cutting seeds at the opposite end to the radicle with kitchen knife (nicking) for treatment 4 and control treatment (untreated seeds for treatment 5). The aim of this study was to determine the best pre-treatment for optimum germination of Garcinia kola “seed”. Germination tests were carried out after pre-treatments for 10 months using one hundred seeds for each treatment in ICRAF nursery established at IITA station in Onne, Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. The result showed that seed cutting (nicking) was the most suitable pre-sowing treatment to increase seed germination of Garcinia kola. In the first 6 weeks of testing, germination did not occur in all the treatments. From the seventh week, germination commenced in treatments 1 and 4. Whereas treating the seeds with mechanical scarification (nicking) significantly (P<0.05) enhanced germination of Garcinia kola, seed germination was also significantly (P<0.05) improved, at least for up to 33 weeks, by soaking the seeds in cold water for 96 hours. The wide variation in germination percentage, germination rate and germination speed of G. kola depended on dormancy that was overcome by seed treatments prior to sowing.

Garcinia kola Heckel, often called bitter kola, is an indigenous medicinal tree belonging to the family Guttiferae. Morphologically, Garcinia kola resembles Allanblackia floribunda. It is well branched, evergreen, and grown as a medium size tree, reaching 12 m high in 12 years, and found in moist forests throughout West and Central Africa. Garcinia kola has regular fruiting cycle and the tree produces fruits every year. The species is one of the most important trees valued in Nigeria for its medicinal seeds and its exploitation in the natural forests has been very heavy.
The seeds of G. kola have pharmacological uses in treating coughs, throat infections, bronchitis, hepatitis (inflammation of the liver), liver disorders (Farombi et al., 2005). According to Adegoke et al., (1998), seeds of G. kola have inhibitory effects on lipid peroxidation in rat liver homogenates. The seeds which serve as a bitter stimulant also serve as snake repellent when they are placed round the compound (Nair, 1990; Daily Champion, 2004). Other medicinal uses include: purgative, antiparasitic, antimicrobial. The seeds are used to prevent and relieve colic, cure head or chest colds. The seeds constituents include—biflavonoids, xanthones and benzophenones. The antimicrobial properties of this plant are attributed to the benzophenones, flavanones. This plant has shown bronchodilator effect (Orie and Ekon, 1993), anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibacterial and antiviral properties (Ebana et al., 1991; Akoachere et al., 2004). In laboratory tests, Garcinia kola was found to halt the deadly disease caused by Ebola virus in its tracks. The virus causes Ebola haemorrhagic fever - an often-fatal condition. Compounds from the plant have also proved effective against some strains of flu, a contagious respiratory disease also commonly known as influenza (Iwu, 1993). Its by-products are also useful: the wood makes excellent fuel wood; its dense rounded crown makes it an ideal tree for shade around homestead; the branches are used as chewing stick because of its bitter taste and antibacterial activities of its extracts (Taiwo et al., 1999).
In Nigeria, low populations of G. kola are found in home gardens and few stands are found in the wild due to rapid deforestation and heavy exploitation in the natural forests. These factors seriously depleted the populations of the species. But demand for G. kola is currently very high in Nigeria and though few seeds are available in the markets, production of the species is limited due to problem of seed dormancy. The seeds need to be treated to enhance germination. During a priority setting exercise, Garcinia kola was one of the useful indigenous trees prioritized by farmers in West and Central Africa. For many farmers who practice agroforestry, medicinal and fruit trees turn out to have higher priority. However, it is unlikely that rural farmers would plant G. kola on a large scale because the untreated seeds are difficult to germinate. Discouragingly, farmers believe that germination of G. kola takes about six to twelve months and that only few seeds germinate. They also believe that the tree takes a longer time of about eight to ten years to reach reproductive phase. According to Anegbeh, et al., (2005) early flowering and fruiting of very useful indigenous fruit trees enhance food security and harness rural livelihoods.

The challenges to development institutions are to help overcome these problems and to respond to priorities of rural communities, especially in the area of conserving highly endangered and valued species. Information on improving the germination of G. kola is not available in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. Therefore, the objective of this study was to break dormancy and improve germination of G. kola within a short time and make the information available to farmers.  [source - retrieved from   https://www.google.com/search?q=Garcinia+nitida&oq=Garcinia+nitida&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=Garcinia+nitida&start=50    on  12/152013]

A very rare Garcinia from the jungles of Borneo. Bears 1-2", red ripening fruits with acidic white pulp. Fruits are edible and most commonly used for flavoring. Small, evergreen tree to several feet. Cultural information is limited but the tree is probably tropical and not frost hardy. Related to the mangosteen.  [source - retrieved from    http://www.tradewindsfruit.com/garcinia-nitida-brunei-cherry-seeds   on  12/15 /2013]

In Genesis 1:11-13, "And God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit-trees bearing fruit after their kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, wherein is the seed thereof, after their kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, a third day. COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    ACTUAL DISCUSSION WITH A TRINITARIAN - FIRST IN A SERIES OF SIX:

And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.  28  And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.   Genesis 25:27 – 28, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, Esau was an excellent hunter and pleased his father well in that he provided him with much meat to eat and as Genesis 27:3, [AV] “Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;”  However, he was not pleasing to his mother, Rebekah, and apparently was not being looked on with favor by Almighty God (YHWH) who was a lover of peace as testified to at Psalms 37:37, [AV] “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.”  But Rebekah their mother said to her son Jacob at Genesis 27:6 - 7, [AV] “And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying,  7  Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the LORD before my death.”

[2]       ACTUAL DISCUSSION WITH A TRINITARIAN - FIRST IN A SERIES OF SIX:

This Trinitarian thought, in his ignorance, that he was making a strong case for the Trinity, but in reality he was proving that the Trinity was but false God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, doctrine.   All of my comments are within [[  ]].

Without realizing it you have in fact disproved the Trinity while trying to prove it.   Let's review your post and see how this is,

There is a dire need for God being a Trinity. If he were not? We would not be here debating about God. For we could not know there is a God. It was always through the Lord that men knew God. The Lord is now to be known by the name Jesus Christ.
[[It is readily apparent that from the git-go you do NOT even understand the concept of the three-in-one-god, but think of it as one would three-in-one-oil which like the Trinity is very slippery.   Now let's look at an authoritative explanation of this false doctrine.

<<< The Trinitarian dogma, The Cyclopoedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature, New York 1871, by John M'Clintock and James Strong, Vol. II, page 560-561, states, "We worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; neither confounding the
persons, nor dividing the substance. For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is all one: the glory equal, the majesty coeternal. Such as the Father is, such is the Son, and such is the Holy Ghost.....The Father eternal, the Son eternal, and the Holy Ghost eternal...So likewise the Father is almighty, the Son almighty, and the Holy Ghost almighty...So the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet there are not three Gods, but one God...The Father is made of none, neither created nor begotten. The Son is of the Father alone; not made, nor created, but begotten. The Holy Ghost is of the Father and of the Son; neither made, nor created, nor begotten, but proceeding...And in this Trinity none is afore or after other; none is greater or less than another. But the whole three persons are coeternal together, and coequal. So that in all things, as is afore said, the Unity in Trinity and the Trinity in Unity is to be worshipped. He therefore that will be saved must thus think of the Trinity." [this is the Athanasian Creed quoted in the above mentioned Cyclopoedia]>>>.

Clearly there can be no trinity as the scriptures clearly show a distinction between the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, and his only begotten Son, Jesus (Yeshua) Christ.  Let's look at a few scriptures from the Authorized King James Bible,

Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
Matthew 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Matthew 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
Matthew 14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
Matthew 26:63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
Matthew 27:40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
Matthew 27:43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
Matthew 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. (Authorized King James Bible; AV).

And we all know a son and a father are not the same being.]]

Jesus Christ had to be first shown and proven to be worthy to be placed in position to be Lord. Not that he was not qualified. God always knew he was. But, to men and angels it was needed to be revealed that Jesus is worthy to be placed by God in the position to be God over all creation...[[Yes, he had to be the first in relation to his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, in that,

[1] He was the first being his Father created, per Revelation 3:14, "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness,[b] the beginning of the creation of God;
" (Authorized King James Bible; AV).   Remember, his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, had no beginning, but had always existed.

[2] He was the first to be resurrected by his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, into heaven to sit at his Father's right hand per, John 17:4-5, "I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.  5  And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." (Authorized King James Bible; AV), here he asked his Father, to give him back his glory that he had before his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, sent him to earth; whereas, if he were part of a Trinity he would neither have had to have another resurrect him nor partition another for the return of his glory.   Also, the Bible clearly says per 1 Peter 3:22, "Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him." (AV).]]

Some argue that Jesus was only a very special man, endowed by the Father with supernatural abilities, which do not make him to be God. Yet? They fail to see why he had to come to earth and function as a man. For he came to die in our place. Only man, can die for all men. So, God had to lower Himself to being as a man, with the man, Jesus Christ!
[[As I have previously shown from the inspired word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, the Bible, Jesus (Yeshua) is the only begotton Son of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is.   For more details, go to,

[read] Jesus (Yeshua) Is The Only Begotten Son of God  at,

http://religioustruths.proboards59.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=jesus&thread=1164241986 ]]

If he while on earth if Jesus was functioning as full power of Deity? He would not have to learn obedience. He would not have to be proven to be worthy of such a position, by his revealed obedience. God as Deity is beyond obedience. He can never fail. It was the humanity of Christ that was to be shown by his testings and temptations to be worthy to be made God over all creation!
[[Obviously you do not understand the 'deity' of Jesus (Yeshua), but let's look at that subject:

Why Do Some Doubt The Deity of Christ?

Some doubt the deity of Christ, but one of the greatest Bible scholars of all times, the great German Bible scholar and translator, Dr. J. J. Griesbach; Nor the Bible scholar and translator James Moffat, translator of "The New Testament: A New Translation," who stated in his translation at John 1:1, "... the Logos was divine"; Nor the Bible scholar and translator E. J. Goodspeed translator of ": An American Translation," who stated in his translation at John 1:1, "... and the Word was divine".

The point of Christ's divinity was made very pointedly by the great scholars and translators of the British Empire in their translation, "The New English Bible, (NEB)" at John 1:1 that reads, "When all things began, the Word already was, The Word dwelt with God, and what God was, the Word was.".

Now let's reason together, we all know that a son is a lot like the father from our own experience. So if Jesus (Yeshua) is the Son of God as testified to in over 40 scriptures in the Bible, we would expect that he would be a lot like his Father (YHWH). What would this mean, simply that he would be a deity like his Father (YHWH) and that he would be divine like his Father (YHWH). Why do some take this statement of what should be obvious to all with an explanation of surprise? Because they wrongly believe he and his father are one and the same; an impossibility as should be obvious to all.

Now let's look at what the meaning of divinity is in several dictionaries:

(from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)
divine (GOD-LIKE) adjective
connected with a god, or like a god:
The Ayatollah described the earthquake in Iran as a divine test.
Some fans seem to regard footballers as divine beings.
England have fallen so far behind in the championship that their only hope of victory is divine intervention (= help from God).
Just because you've been promoted that doesn't give you a divine right (= one like that of a god) to tell us all what to do.

Oxford Dictionary
divine = /d"van/ adjective (-r, -st) 1 of, from, or like God or a god; sacred. 2 colloquial excellent. verb (-ning) 1 discover by intuition or guessing. 2 foresee. 3 practise divination. noun theologian. divining-rod dowser's forked twig. divinely adverb.

Definition 3. (sometimes cap.) the spiritual or godlike, as opposed to the earthly or worldly. Similar Words divinity

It is like Jesus (Yeshua) said at Matthew 23:24, but let's look at the context, Matthew 23:13-33, " But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater d**nation. 15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. 16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor! 17 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? 18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty. 19 Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? 20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon. 21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. 22 And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. 28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. 29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, 30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the d**nation of hell?" ((Authorized King James Bible; AV)

Let's be inline with Titus 2:1, "But speak thou the things that become sound doctrine:" (Douay Rheims Catholic Bible; DRCB), and not in line with 2 Corinthians 4:4, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them."(DRCB) who do NOT recognize Jesus (Yeshua) as a separate divine being from his Father (YHWH) who is his Father's (YHWH's) master worker and is an obedient Son and follows his Father's (YHWH's) directions.]]

Some here think that because God allowed himself to become as a man with Jesus.... that, that somehow makes him not to be God. The point is, God chose not to reign over his humanity. But, rather to be in total identification with his humanity. To some? That is saying he was not God.
[[the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, never became a man, but put the life force of his only begotten Son, Jesus (Yeshua), into a virgin Hebrew female as recorded at Matthew 1:18-25, "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19  Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
20  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22  Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24  Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS." (AV).]]

God in his plan chose to be that way. God can do anything that is not of sin. God chose to allow for his humanity to make his own choices. God wanted to prove to all, that the humanity he now expresses himself through, is in himself worthy of such an honor to be made Lord over all creation!
[[You clearly forgot James 1:13 "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:" (AV) which clearly shows that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, can not be tempted, but his only begotton Son, Jesus (Yeshua), clearly was per Matthew 4:1-10, "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2  And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6  And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." (AV).   So as you should readily see, you are in error and need to learn the truth per John 8:32, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (AV).]]

Jesus proved himself worthy by remaining faithful to the Father in all he did. After being proven to be worthy, his Deity is now expressed through his humanity in full power, and everyone can know that that humanity is totally worthy in himself.
[[As you said, Jesus (Yeshua), had to prove himself; whereas, if he were the same as his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, this would not be possible.    For more information, go to,

[read] Sent Ones Are Subordinate Ones:  at,

http://religioustruths.proboards59.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=jesus&thread=1164242356  ]]

For? If God controlled his humanity in full power of Deity, from the beginning? How could we know the humanity is worthy? In that case, his humanity would have had no choice but to do anything but what is right. He would have been a Divine robot. But? With his own Deity not taking control over his humanity? Jesus was allowed to prove himself worthy as humanity in total faithfulness to the Father! And? HE DID PROVE IT!
[[This is a senseless comment has he already proved his power when he created the universe and later created mankind.    A 'divine robot' can not create for it would need programming to do so, and since the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, always existed there would have been no one to do the programming until he created them, get it?]]

Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    ACTUAL DISCUSSION WITH A TRINITARIAN - SECOND IN A SERIES:

[1]        SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 556A]

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,  18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:  19  Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.   Ephesians 4:17 – 19, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

And 1 Peter 4:3, [AV] “For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:” shows we should give up our wrong ways.  Yes, many of those doing what Almighty God (YHWH) does not want knew who He is , but as stated at Romans 1:21, [AV] “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”  Yes, all need to per Acts 26:18, [AV] “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”  For those not wanting to be obedient to him, He per Romans 1:28, [AV] “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;”  So we should per Isaiah 56:11 - 12, [AV] “Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.  2  Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.”

[2]       ACTUAL DISCUSSION WITH A TRINITARIAN - SECOND IN A SERIES:

Yes, there is a lot to be learned and I will attempt to assist you in the learning process with regard John 10:31-33 that you clearly do not comprehend.

FIRST, You said,

John 10:31-33 (New International Version), "Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?"
"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."

Jesus, became God 'as a man', with a man.  For only that reason he denied equality to the Father. It was according to position he found himself needing to submit to. Yet? Jesus is right now God over all creation. The Father is on vacation. You do not know this?

You clearly missed on this.   Let's look at it in context, John 10:30-33,
"I and the Father are one." 31 Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" 33 "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." (New International Version; NIV).

First, let's consider John 10:30, where Jesus (Yeshua) said that he and his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, are one, and how they are one as that is the key to understanding John 10:30-33.

John 10:30  I and my Father are one.  (New American Standard Bible; NASB)

This is an interesting scripture, and taken alone out of context could lead the unsteadfast to the false conclusion that they were one in body, but taken in contest, this would be seen as impossible.  In John 10:29, Jesus (Yeshua) clearly showed they were two separate individuals, "My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand." (NASB).  Clearly here was a giver, the Father (YHWH) whom Jesus (Yeshua) publically declared was "greater than all" which statement would include being greater than himself, Jesus (Yeshua).  Also, there was a receiver, a distinct individual, "has given them to Me."

This 'one' is one in purpose and this is made clear at John 17:9-11, " "I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours; 10 and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them.  11 "I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.   Which not only shows Jesus (Yeshua) and his Father (YHWH) as being one in prupose, but also, all the true Christian followers of his Son (Yeshua).

As previously mentioned, many try and misuse this scripture, John 10:30, to support either a Duality or a Trinity; however, it supports neither and especially not a Trinity as only two individual beings are mentioned in it.

With respect a Trinity, Jay P. Green's, "Classic Bible Dictionary," says, "This is not itself a Biblical term, but was a term coined by Tertullian to refer to the whole concept under one word."  [Classic Bible Dictionary," by Jay P. Green, page 483].  Another renown work says, "Respecting the manner in which the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit make one G-d, the Scripture teaches nothing, since the subject is of such a nature as not to admit of its being explained to us."  [Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature," under Trinity, on page 553].   In other words, this false God (YHWH) dishonoring false doctrine of the Trinity is a revealed doctrine of men that is foreign to the scripture (Bible).  It is to be outright rejected by all who are true followers of Jesus (Yeshua).

Second, Now let's consider John 10:31-33, "Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" 33 "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." (NIV).

Here is a case of his enemies looking for something to falsely accuse him of as he in no way said that he was the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, his Father; only his enemies said that.   Now what was his answer to this false accusation?

Let's look at John 10:34-38 to gain an in-depth understanding, "Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods'? 35 If he called them 'gods,' to whom the word of God came--and the Scripture cannot be broken-- 36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'? 37 Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. 38 But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father." (NIV).   [b]Here we see Jesus (Yeshua) clearly stating that he was not his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, but "I am God's Son," which is something very different than saying he is his Father the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is.    So here Jesus (Yeshua) clearly makes the distinction between himself and his Father.

So it is quite clear that,Jesus (Yeshua) never became God 'as a man,' because he was NOT God, his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, but as he stated, he was the Son of God.  This is further shown by his submission to his Father's will, a distinct being.  His Father, has exalted him to His, and he now sits, figuratively, at his Father's right hand as shown by Hebrews 12:2, "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." And Colosians 3:1, "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God." (NIV).   And his Father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, has made him mediator between Himself and all of mankind, per 1 Timothy 2:5, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (NIV).

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:  1 John 5:14, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, he hearth us as shown by 1 John 5:15, [AV] “And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”  Almighty God (YHWH) will hear us if per 1 John 3:21 - 22, [AV] “Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.  22  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.”  Then, per Hebrews 4:16, [AV] “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”  Clearly as recorded at John 9:31, [AV] “  Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.”

[2]       ACTUAL DISCUSSION WITH A TRINITARIAN - THIRD IN A SERIES:

Yes, there is a lot to be learned and I will attempt to assist you in the learning process with regard Philippians 2:6-8 that you clearly do not comprehend

You said,

Philippians 2:6-8 (New International Version)
"Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death- even death on a cross!"
At that point in time? When God had to submit and become as a man? The Father was the greater in his function.

Yet? That was only to be until Jesus finished the work of salvation. Because? He had to die as a man, for all mankind. Only a man qualified to die for men.

But? After Jesus ascended? He became, and is now God over all creation in function. It is now the Father who rests from all work. Its the Deity of Christ who is now God over all.

You missed on this one.   Now let's look at the facts in context and renown scholars on same..

An understanding of Phillipians 2:1-16:

SCRIPTURES:

1  If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship
of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2  Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of
one mind.
3  Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each
esteem other better than themselves.
4  Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6  Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was
made in the likeness of men:
8  And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto
death, even the death of the cross.
9  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above
every name:
10  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in
earth, and things under the earth;
11  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father.
12  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but
now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14  Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15  That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the
midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
16  Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run
in vain, neither laboured in vain."  (Philippians 2:1-16 AV - Authorized King James
Version).

SALIENT HEIGHLIGHTS - PHILIPPIANS 2:5-8:

First, Philippians 2:5-8 clearly show that Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) exist as a spirit
being in the same physical form type as his Father, Almighty God (YHWH), but that he,
Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) was obedient to his Father, but gave no thought to a
consideration to a seizure, namely that he should be equal to God.  This can clearly be
seen by:

"6  who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a
thing to be grasped," (Philippians 2:6 ASV - American Standard Bible).

"6  Who, in form of God, subsisting, not, a thing to be seized, accounted the being equal
with God," (Philippians 2:6 Rotherham)

"6  Existiendo en forma de Dios, él no consideró el ser igual a Dios como algo a qué
aferrarse;"  (Philippians 2:6 Spanish RVA 89)

"who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be used for His own
advantage." (Philippians 2:6 Holoman Standard Christian Bible)

"who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,"
(Philippians 2:6 NASV - New American Standard Version)

"who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something
to be exploited, " (Philippians 2:6 NRSV - New Revised Standard Version)

"Who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should
be equal to God."  (Philippians 2:6 NWT - New World Translation)

"Christ himself was like God in everything. But he did not think that being equal with
God was something to be used for his own benefit." (Philippians 2:6 New Century
Version)
"6Who, being in very nature[1] God, did not consider equality with God something to be
grasped, " [alternate rend. Footnote - - 1 - Or in the form of] (Philippians 2:6 NIV - New
International Version)

"Who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God, something to be grasped."
(Philippians 2:6 The New American Bible -Catholic- Approved in the Vatican, September 18, 1970 by the
Pope)

"He was in every way like God. Yet he did not think that being equal to God was something he must hold
on to. " (Philippians 2:6 World Wide English)

SALIENT SCRIPTURE AND ITS UNDERSTANDING - PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11:

This fact, that God's Son, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) is a separate spirit being from his Father
(YHWH) is even made much clearer if we view more than one scripture at a time:

"Let Christ himself be your example as to what your attitude should be. For he, who had
always been God by nature, did not cling to his prerogatives as God's equal, but stripped
himself of all privilege by consenting to be a slave by nature and being born as mortal
man. And, having become man, he humbled himself by living a life of utter obedience,
even to the extent of dying, and the death he died was the death of a common criminal.
That is why God has now lifted him so high, and has given him the name beyond all
names, so that at the name of Jesus "every knee shall bow", whether in Heaven or earth or
under the earth. And that is why, in the end, "every tongue shall confess" that Jesus
Christ" is the Lord, to the glory of God the Father."  (Philippians 2:5-11 J B PHILLIPS
Translation of the NEW TESTAMENT)

The J.B. Phillips Translation of the New Testament  makes clear the Son's, Jesus's
(Yeshua or YHWH saves) attitude with respect to being obedient to his Father, Almighty
God (YHWH).  It states, "Let Christ himself be your example as to what your
attitude should be." Which clearly shows that all genuine followers of the Son
should also be humble.  Also, it clearly says, "For he, who had always been God by
nature, did not cling to his prerogatives as God's equal, but stripped himself of all
privilege by consenting to be a slave by nature and being born as mortal man." That
although he was existing as a spirit creature just like his Father (YHWH) that he gave no
thought to being the equal of his Father (YHWH), but was subordinate and obedient to
him in clear conformity to " But I would have you know, that the head of every man is
Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." (1
Corinthians 11:3 AV).   Clearly then, he, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) can not then
be a member of a co-equal trinity of beings in a Trinitarian Godhead since he is neither
equal to his Father, nor did not always exist as did his Father (YHWH) " And unto the
angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful
and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;" (Revelation 3:14 AV) and " Who
is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:" (Colossians 1:15 AV).

His subjection was made quite clear as follows, "And, having become man, he humbled
himself by living a life of utter obedience, even to the extent of dying, and the death he
died was the death of a common criminal."  Clearly he, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves)
was doing the will of his Father (YHWH) .  In fact, when tempted by Satan the Devil he
stated " Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt
worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." (Matthew 4:10 AV), " Jesus
saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my
brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God,
and your God." (John 20:17 AV), "21  Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour
cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22  Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father
in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.  24  God is a Spirit: and
they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.  25  The woman saith unto
him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all
things.  26  Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he." (John 4:21-26 AV).

Of course, since Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH) is Almighty God (YHWH) only begotten Son, he is
also a God, but a lessor one; therefore, The First Commandment of the Ten Commandments, "
Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3 AV), is not violated since he is neither
equal to or before his Father.

Since he has proved his obedience to his Father (YHWH), his Father (YHWH) has " That is why
God has now lifted him so high, and has given him the name beyond all names, so that at
the name of Jesus "every knee shall bow", whether in Heaven or earth or under the earth.
And that is why, in the end, "every tongue shall confess" that Jesus Christ" is the Lord, to
the glory of God the Father."  And his Father has subjected all things onto his Son, except
himself, "17  And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.  18  Then they
also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.  19  If in this life only we have hope in Christ,
we are of all men most miserable.  20  But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the
firstfruits of them that slept.  21  For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection
of the dead.  22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.  23  But every
man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.  24
Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father;
when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.  25  For he must reign, till he
hath put all enemies under his feet.  26  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."  27  For he
hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that
he is excepted, which did put all things under him.  28  And when all things shall be subdued unto
him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God
may be all in all." (1 Corinthians 15:17-28 AV).  Therefore, it is clear that Almighty God, the
Father (YHWH) is the superior one since he has put all things under his Son, Jesus (Yeshua or
YHWH saves), except himself, and could not do so unless he was above or superior to his Son.
Also, it is clear that after he accomplishes his Father's purpose, he, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH
saves), will subject himself to his father, "And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then
shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all
in all."  This clearly shows that Trinitarian Theology and Dualism Theology are false dogma and
should be clearly rejected by all Christians.

COMMENTS BY OTHER BIBLE SCHOLARS ON PHILIPPIANS 2:5 -11:

Bible Scholar, Theodore Beza, stated:

2:5 2 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
(2) He sets before them a most perfect example of all modesty and sweet conduct, Christ Jesus,
whom we ought to follow with all our might: who abased himself so much for our sakes, although
he is above all, that he took upon himself the form of a servant, that is, our flesh, willingly subject
to all weaknesses, even to the death of the cross.
2:6 Who, being in the d form of God, e thought it not robbery to be f equal with God:
(d) Such as God himself is, and therefore God, for there is no one in all parts equal to God but God
himself.
(e) Christ, that glorious and everlasting God, knew that he might rightfully and lawfully not appear
in the base flesh of man, but remain with majesty fit for God: yet he chose rather to debase
himself.
(f) If the Son is equal with the Father, then is there of necessity an equality, which Arrius that
heretic denies: and if the Son is compared to the Father, then is there a distinction of persons,
which Sabellius that heretic denies.
2:7 But made himself of g no reputation, and took upon him the h form of a servant, and was made in the
likeness of men:
(g) He brought himself from all things, as it were to nothing.
(h) By taking our manhood upon him.
2:9 3 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a i name which is above every name:
(3) He shows the most glorious even of Christ's submission, to teach us that
modesty is the true way to true praise and glory.
(i) Dignity and high distinction, and that which accompanies it.
2:10 That at the name of Jesus k every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and
[things] under the earth;
(k) All creatures will at length be subject to Christ.
2:11 And [that] l every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(l) Every nation. [Beza, Theodore. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "The 1599 Geneva Study Bible".
1600-1645.]

Bible Scholar, Matthew Henry, said:

Note, this scholars comments cover more than Philippians 2:5-11, it cover Philippians 2:1-11.
The apostle proceeds in this chapter where he left off in the last, with further exhortations to
Christian duties. He presses them largely to like-mindedness and lowly-mindedness, in
conformity to the example of the Lord Jesus, the great pattern of humility and love. Here we may
observe, I. The great gospel precept passed upon us; that is, to love one another. This is the law
of Christ's kingdom, the lesson of his school, the livery of his family. This he represents (v. 2) by
being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. We are of a like mind
when we have the same love. Christians should be one in affection, whether they can be one in
apprehension or no. This is always in their power, and always their duty, and is the likeliest way
to bring them nearer in judgment. Having the same love. Observe, The same love that we are
required to express to others, others are bound to express to us. Christian love ought to be
mutual love. Love, and you shall be loved. Being of one accord, and of one mind; not crossing
and thwarting, or driving on separate interests, but unanimously agreeing in the great things of
God and keeping the unity of the Spirit in other differences. Here observe, 1. The pathetic
pressing of the duty. He is very importunate with them, knowing what an evidence it is of our
sincerity, and what a means of the preservation and edification of the body of Christ. The
inducements to brotherly love are these:-(1.) "If there is any consolation in Christ. Have you
experienced consolation in Christ? Evidence that experience by loving one another.'' The
sweetness we have found in the doctrine of Christ should sweeten our spirits. Do we expect
consolation in Christ? If we would not be disappointed, we must love one another. If we have not
consolation in Christ, where else can we expect it? Those who have an interest in Christ have
consolation in him, strong and everlasting consolation (Heb. 6:18; 2 Th. 2:16), and therefore
ought to love one another. (2.) "Comfort of love. If there is any comfort in Christian love, in God's
love to you, in your love to God, or in your brethren's love to us, in consideration of all this, be you
like-minded. If you have ever found that comfort, if you would find it, if you indeed believe that the
grace of love is a comfortable grace, abound in it.'' (3.) "Fellowship of the Spirit. If there is such a
thing as communion with God and Christ by the Spirit, such a thing as the communion of saints,
by virtue of their being animated and actuated by one and the same Spirit, be you like-minded; for
Christian love and like-mindedness will preserve to us our communion with God and with one
another.'' (4.) "Any bowels and mercies, in God and Christ, towards you. If you expect the benefit
of God's compassions to yourselves, be you compassionate one to another. If there is such a
thing as mercy to be found among the followers of Christ, if all who are sanctified have a
disposition to holy pity, make it appear this way.'' How cogent are these arguments! One would
think them enough to tame the most fierce, and mollify the hardest, heart. (5.) Another argument
he insinuates is the comfort it would be to him: Fulfil you my joy. It is the joy of ministers to see
people like-minded and living in love. He had been instrumental in bringing them to the grace of
Christ and the love of God. "Now,'' says he, "if you have found any benefit by your participation of
the gospel of Christ, if you have any comfort in it, or advantage by it, fulfil the joy of your poor
minister, who preached the gospel to you.'' 2. He proposes some means to promote it. (1.) Do
nothing through strife and vain glory, v. 3. There is no greater enemy to Christian love than pride
and passion. If we do things in contradiction to our brethren, this is doing them through strife; if
we do them through ostentation of ourselves, this is doing them through vain-glory: both are
destructive of Christian love and kindle unchristian heats. Christ came to slay all enmities;
therefore let there not be among Christians a spirit of opposition. Christ came to humble us, and
therefore let there not be among us a spirit of pride. (2.) We must esteem others in lowliness of
mind better than ourselves, be severe upon our own faults and charitable in our judgments of
others, be quick in observing our own defects and infirmities, but ready to overlook and make
favourable allowances for the defects of others. We must esteem the good which is in others
above that which is in ourselves; for we best know our own unworthiness and imperfections. (3.)
We must interest ourselves in the concerns of others, not in a way of curiosity and
censoriousness, or as busy-bodies in other men's matters, but in Christian love and sympathy:
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others, v. 4. A selfish
spirit is destructive of Christian love. We must be concerned not only for our own credit, and
ease, and safety, but for those of others also; and rejoice in the prosperity of others as truly as in
our own. We must love our neighbour as ourselves, and make his case our own. II. Here is a
gospel pattern proposed to our imitation, and that is the example of our Lord Jesus Christ: Let this
mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, v. 5. Observe, Christians must be of Christ's mind.
We must bear a resemblance to his life, if we would have the benefit of his death. If we have not
the Spirit of Christ, we are none of his, Rom. 8:9. Now what was the mind of Christ? He was
eminently humble, and this is what we are peculiarly to learn of him. Learn of me, for I am meek
and lowly in heart, Mt. 11:29. If we were lowly-minded, we should be like-minded; and, if we were
like Christ, we should be lowly-minded. We must walk in the same spirit and in the same steps
with the Lord Jesus, who humbled himself to sufferings and death for us; not only to satisfy God's
justice, and pay the price of our redemption, but to set us an example, and that we might follow
his steps. Now here we have the two natures and the two states of our Lord Jesus. It is
observable that the apostle, having occasion to mention the Lord Jesus, and the mind which was
in him, takes the hint to enlarge upon his person, and to give a particular description of him. It is a
pleasing subject, and a gospel minister needs not think himself out of the way when he is upon it;
any fit occasion should be readily taken. 1. Here are the two natures of Christ: his divine nature
and his human nature. (1.) Here is his divine nature: Who being in the form of God (v. 6),
partaking of the divine nature, as the eternal and only begotten Son of God. This agrees with Jn.
1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God: it is of the same import with
being the image of the invisible God (Col. 1:15), and the brightness of his glory, and express
image of his person, Heb. 1:3. He thought it no robbery to be equal with God; did not think himself
guilty of any invasion of what did not belong to him, or assuming another's right. He said, I and
my Father are one, Jn. 10:30. It is the highest degree of robbery for any mere man or mere
creature to pretend to be equal with God, or profess himself one with the Father. This is for a man
to rob God, not in tithes and offerings, but of the rights of his Godhead, Mal. 3:8. Some
understand being in the form of God - en morphe Theou hyparchon, of his appearance in a
divine majestic glory to the patriarchs, and the Jews, under the Old Testament, which was often
called the glory, and the Shechinah. The word is used in such a sense by the Septuagint and in
the New Testament. He appeared to the two disciples, en hetera morphe - In another form, Mk.
16:12. Metemorphothe - he was transfigured before them, Mt. 17:2. And he thought it no
robbery to be equal with God; he did not greedily catch at, nor covet and affect to appear in that
glory; he laid aside the majesty of his former appearance while he was here on earth, which is
supposed to be the sense of the peculiar expression, ouk harpagmon hegesato. Vid. Bishop
Bull's Def. cap. 2 sect. 4 et alibi, and Whitby in loc. (2.) His human nature: He was made in the
likeness of men, and found in fashion as a man. He was really and truly man, took part of our
flesh and blood, appeared in the nature and habit of man. And he voluntarily assumed human
nature; it was his own act, and by his own consent. We cannot say that our participation of the
human nature is so. Herein he emptied himself, divested himself of the honours and glories of the
upper world, and of his former appearance, to clothe himself with the rags of human nature. He
was in all things like to us, Heb. 2:17. 2. Here are his two estates, of humiliation and exaltation.
(1.) His estate of humiliation. He not only took upon him the likeness and fashion of a man, but
the form of a servant, that is, a man of mean estate. He was not only God's servant whom he had
chosen, but he came to minister to men, and was among them as one who serveth in a mean and
servile state. One would think that the Lord Jesus, if he would be a man, should have been a
prince, and appeared in splendour. But quite the contrary: He took upon him the form of a
servant. He was brought up meanly, probably working with his supposed father at his trade. His
whole life was a life of humiliation, meanness, poverty, and disgrace; he had nowhere to lay his
head, lived upon alms, was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, did not appear with
external pomp, or any marks of distinction from other men. This was the humiliation of his life. But
the lowest step of his humiliation was his dying the death of the cross. He became obedient to
death, even the death of the cross. He not only suffered, but was actually and voluntarily
obedient; he obeyed the law which he brought himself under as Mediator, and by which he was
obliged to die. I have power to lay down my life, and I have power to take it again: this
commandment have I received of my Father, Jn. 10:18. And he was made under the law, Gal.
4:4. There is an emphasis laid upon the manner of his dying, which had in it all the circumstances
possible which are humbling: Even the death of the cross, a cursed, painful, and shameful
death,-a death accursed by the law (Cursed is he that hangeth on a tree) -full of pain, the body
nailed through the nervous parts (the hands and feet) and hanging with all its weight upon the
cross,-and the death of a malefactor and a slave, not of a free-man,-exposed as a public
spectacle. Such was the condescension of the blessed Jesus. (2.) His exaltation: Wherefore God
also hath highly exalted him. His exaltation was the reward of his humiliation. Because he
humbled himself, God exalted him; and he highly exalted him, hyperypsose, raised him to an
exceeding height. He exalted his whole person, the human nature as well as the divine; for he is
spoken of as being in the form of God as well as in the fashion of man. As it respects the divine
nature, it could only be the recognizing of his rights, or the display and appearance of the glory he
had with the Father before the world was (Jn. 17:5), not any new acquisition of glory; and so the
Father himself is said to be exalted. But the proper exaltation was of his human nature, which
alone seems to be capable of it, though in conjunction with the divine. His exaltation here is made
to consist in honour and power. In honour; so he had a name above every name, a title of dignity
above all the creatures, men and angels. And in power: Every knee must bow to him. The whole
creation must be in subjection to him: things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the
earth, the inhabitants of heaven and earth, the living and the dead. At the name of Jesus; not at
the sound of the word, but the authority of Jesus; all should pay a solemn homage. And that
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord -every nation and language should
publicly own the universal empire of the exalted Redeemer, and that all power in heaven and
earth is given to him, Mt. 28:18. Observe the vast extent of the kingdom of Christ; it reaches to
heaven and earth, and to all the creatures in each, to angels as well as men, and to the dead as
well as the living.- To the glory of God the Father. Observe, It is to the glory of God the Father to
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord; for it is his will that all men should honour the Son as they
honour the Father, Jn. 5:23. Whatever respect is paid to Christ redounds to the honour of the
Father. He who receiveth me receiveth him who sent me, Mt. 10:40.
[Henry, Matthew. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "Matthew Henry Complete Commentary on the Whole
Bible".  1706.]

Bible Scholar, Barton W. Johnson, stated:

5-8. Let this mind be in you. He points to Christ as the example of humility and consecration to the good
of others. 6. Who, being in the form of God. He refers to the state of our Savior before he took human
form. His form was divine. "He had a glory with the father before the world was." See John 1:1; 2 Cor. 4:4;
Heb. 1:3, etc. Thought it not robbery to be equal with God. The Revision says, "Counted it not a prize."
The meaning is not entirely clear, but probably is that "Having a form of glory like God, he did not count it
a prize which must be clung to tenaciously, especially when he appeared upon the earth, that he should be
equal with God, that is, appear in a divine form, but was willing to lay aside his glory and make himself a
servant." 7. Emptied himself. Of the divine form and glory, and took the form of a servant, of our own
race, a race whose duty it is to serve God. The divine glory was exchanged for human lowliness. 8. He
humbled himself. Note the infinite condescension: (1) The form of God and sharing the divine glory. (2)
He divests himself of this. (3) Nor does he then take the divine form, or even the form of an angel, but of
lowly, sinful man. (4) But this is not all. He not only takes the form of man, but the mortality of the flesh,
and dies. (5) Nay, more; he dies the most shameful and painful of all deaths, even the death of the cross.

9-11. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him. His wonderful humility had been shown, but it is the
law of the universe that he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. Therefore God lifted him up from the
grave to the heavens, gave all power into his hands (Matt. 28:18), and gave him a name above every
name. The idea is an authority, a position, above that of all intelligences. This exaltation made the humble
name, Jesus, a name above every name. 10. That at the name of Jesus. That name, by the exaltation, has
become the name of the King of kings. It is supreme. Hence, every knee in all the universe bows to its
majesty. Under the earth. In the under-world, hades, the abode of the dead. 11. And that every tongue
should confess. All the universe is called to confess him as Lord, and thus glorify God. All will yet confess
him, either in joy or shame. [Johnson, Barton W. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "People's New
Testament". 1891.]

SALIENT HEIGHLIGHTS - PHILIPPIANS 2:1-4:

"Now if your experience of Christ's encouragement and love means anything to you, if
you have known something of the fellowship of his Spirit, and all that it means in
kindness and deep sympathy, do make my best hope for you come true! Live together in
harmony, live together in love, as though you had only one mind and one spirit between
you. Never act from motives of rivalry or personal vanity, but in humility think more of
each other then you do of yourselves. None of you should think only of his own affairs,
but should learn to see things from other people's point of view." ."  (Philippians 2:1-4  J
B PHILLIPS Translation of the NEW TESTAMENT).

This group of scriptures drives home the point that God's way is love.  It clearly
emphasis Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) encouragement to love, "love means anything
to you, if you have known something of the fellowship of his Spirit, and all that it means
in kindness and deep sympathy, do make my best hope for you come true!"

It shows we should, "! Live together in harmony, live together in love, as though you had
only one mind and one spirit between you. Never act from motives of rivalry or personal
vanity, but in humility think more of each other then you do of yourselves. None of you
should think only of his own affairs, but should learn to see things from other people's
point of view."

This same point  of love distinguishes true Christianity as being all about love, 1 st. love
for the Creator, Jehovah God, and second love for one's fellow man. You can not love
God whom you can not see if you do not at first love your fellow man whom you can see.
When Jesus Christ was asked what is the greatest commandment, he answered, "Master,
which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the
Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is
the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
(Matthew 22:36-40 AV). The Holy Bible plainly shows we should not judge our
neighbors, but love them. This does not mean loving their sin. Matthew 7:1-2, states,
"Stop judging that you may not be judged; for with what judgment you are judging, you
will be judged," and Romans 14:4, 10-13, "Who are you to judge the house servant of
another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God
can make him stand. But why do you judge your brother? For we shall all stand before
the judgment seat of God... Therefore let us not be judging one another any longer," this
plainly shows no true Christian should be executing judgment on anyone with respect sin.
In fact this would be a usurping of God's exclusive right, i.e., blaspheme, Matthew 25:31-
32 states, "When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he
will sit down on his glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and
he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the
goats." Second, we should be loving our neighbors and attempting to get them to turn
away from sin, not judging, hurting, or killing them in violation of God's law.

COMMENTS BY OTHER BIBLE SCHOLARS ON PHILIPPIANS 2:1-4:

Bible Scholar, Theodore Beza, stated:

2:1 If 1 [there be] therefore any consolation in a Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of
the Spirit, if any b bowels and mercies,
(1) A most earnest request to remove all those things, by which that great and special
consent and agreement is commonly broken, that is, contention and pride, by which it
comes to pass that they separate themselves from one another.
(a) Any Christian comfort.
(b) If any seeking of inward love.
2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the c same love, [being] of one accord, of one
mind.
(c) Equal love. [Beza, Theodore. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "The 1599 Geneva Study Bible". 1600-
1645.]
Bible Scholar, Barton W. Johnson, stated:
1-4. If there be therefore any consolation, etc. The apostle does not doubt that there is consolation,
comfort, spiritual fellowship, etc., in Christ, but bases an exhortation on what the Philippians knew to be
the case. Bowels and mercies. "Tender mercies and compassion," as in the Revision. 2. Fulfil ye my joy.
Make my joy full. They had already given him much joy (4:1-10), but he desired one thing more; viz., that
they be like-minded, in full agreement, perfect harmony. Having the same love. Loving one another with
pure hearts fervently. Being of one accord. Of one heart and soul. No outward strife. 3. Nothing through
strife or vain glory. No party spirit or striving for human praise. Let each esteem, etc. Instead of exalting
himself, each is to exalt others in his esteem. He that is willing to serve is greatest. 4. Look not every man
on his own things. Do not look out for your own interests alone, but for the interests of others rather than
your own. [Johnson, Barton W. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "People's New Testament". 1891.]

SALIENT HEIGHLIGHTS - PHILIPPIANS 2:11-16:

"So then, my dearest friends, as you have always followed my advice - and that not only
when I was present to give it - so now that I am far away be keener than ever to work out
the salvation that God has given you with a proper sense of awe and responsibility. For it
is God who is at work within you, giving you the will and the power to achieve his
purpose. Do all you have to do without grumbling or arguing, so that you may be God's
children, blameless, sincere and wholesome, living in a warped and diseased world, and
shining there like lights in a dark place. For you hold in your hands the very word of life.
Thus can you give me something to be proud of in the day of Christ, for I shall know then
that I did not spend my energy in vain. "."  (Philippians 2:1-4  J B PHILLIPS Translation
of the NEW TESTAMENT).

Here the Apostle Paul is showing we must work out our salvation with God (YHWH).
He states, "For it is God who is at work within you, giving you the will and the power to
achieve his purpose."   How so, well through his active force which is commonly known
as the Holy Spirit.

He gives us admonition to,  "Do all you have to do without grumbling or arguing, so that
you may be God's children, blameless, sincere and wholesome, living in a warped and
diseased world, and shining there like lights in a dark place. For you hold in your hands
the very word of life."  We should not be grumbling or arguing with each other, but
should bear in mind that we are living in a warped and diseased world that will shortly be
replaced by a righteous world that we pray for, "5  And when thou prayest, thou shalt not
be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the
corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have
their reward.  6  But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast
shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret
shall reward thee openly.  7  But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen
do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.  8  Be not ye therefore
like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy
name.  10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."  (Matthew
6:5-10 AV).

This will clearly come about shortly when Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) starts to fulfill his assignment
by his Father is given the 'go ahead' to answer our pray, "10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done
in earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10 AV).  This day, will be, "Thus can you give me
something to be proud of in the day of Christ, for I shall know then that I did not spend
my energy in vain. "  To reiterate, Almighty God's (JYWH's) command or assignment to
his Son, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves), "22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ
shall all be made alive.  23  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits;
afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.  24  Then cometh the end, when he shall
have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all
rule and all authority and power.  25  For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under
his feet.  26  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.  27  For he hath put all
things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that
he is excepted, which did put all things under him.  28  And when all things shall be
subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things
under him, that God may be all in all."  (1 Corinthians 15:10-28 AV).

needed by the Philippian church. Work out your own salvation. While Christ is our Savior, and the author

yourselves" (Acts 2:40), and "work out your own salvation." Unless we do our part Christ cannot save us.
With fear and trembling. With constant anxiety not to fail. 13. For it is God which worketh in you. God
works in the converted person by his word and Spirit. His Spirit is a helper. It does not destroy our free
will, for we may resist it (1 Thess. 5:19). Both to will and to work. God shows his will by his word and
spirit and work in us. We ought to heed it. We can work in harmony with the divine will, or we may reject
to our damnation. His good pleasure. As seemeth best to him.

14-18. Do all things without murmurings. Without complaining. Some persons pass their lives
complaining. 15. The sons of God. Those of so high estate ought to be harmless, blameless, and in the
midst of a crooked and perverse generation, a wicked world, they should shine as lights by their pure
and holy lives. 16. Holding forth the word of life. Always preaching Christ in word, in life, and in deed.
That was their work. Unless they did this they were a failure. That I may rejoice. Unless they had done so
he would be made to feel, in the day of Christ, the day of accounts, that his labor at Philippi was in vain.
[Johnson, Barton W. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "People's New Testament". 1891.]

Bible Scholar, Matthew Henry, said:

He exhorts them to diligence and seriousness in the Christian course: Work out your own salvation. It is the
salvation of our souls (1 Pt. 1:9), and our eternal salvation (Heb. 5:9), and contains deliverance from all the
evils sin had brought upon us and exposed us to, and the possession of all good and whatsoever is
necessary to our complete and final happiness. Observe, It concerns us above all things to secure the
welfare of our souls: whatever becomes of other things, let us take care of our best interests. It is our own
salvation, the salvation of our own souls. It is not for us to judge other people; we have enough to do to
look to ourselves; and, though we must promote the common salvation (Jude 3) as much as we can, yet we
must upon no account neglect our own. We are required to work out our salvation, katergazesthe. The word
signifies working thoroughly at a thing, and taking true pains. Observe, We must be diligent in the use of
all the means which conduce to our salvation. We must not only work at our salvation, by doing something
now and then about it; but we must work out our salvation, by doing all that is to be done, and persevering
therein to the end. Salvation is the great thing we should mind, and set our hearts upon; and we cannot
attain salvation without the utmost care and diligence. He adds, With fear and trembling, that is, with great
care and circumspection: "Trembling for fear lest you miscarry and come short. Be careful to do every
thing in religion in the best manner, and fear lest under all your advantages you should so much as seem to
come short,'' Heb. 4:1. Fear is a great guard and preservative from evil. II. He urges this from the
consideration of their readiness always to obey the gospel: "As you have always obeyed, not as in my
presence only, but now much more in my absence, v. 12. You have been always willing to comply with
every discovery of the will of God; and that in my absence as well as presence. You make it to appear that
regard to Christ, and care of your souls, sway more with you than any mode of showing respect
whatsoever.'' They were not merely awed by the apostle's presence, but did it even much more in his
absence. "And because it is God who worketh in you, do you work out your salvation. Work, for he
worketh.'' It should encourage us to do our utmost, because our labour shall not be in vain. God is ready to
concur with his grace, and assist our faithful endeavours. Observe, Though we must use our utmost
endeavours in working out our salvation, yet still we must go forth, and go on, in a dependence upon the
grace of God. His grace works in us in a way suitable to our natures, and in concurrence with our
endeavours; and the operations of God's grace in us are so far from excusing, that they are intended to
quicken and engage our endeavours. "And work out our salvation with fear and trembling, for he worketh
in you.'' All our working depends upon his working in us. "Do not trifle with God by neglects and delays,
lest you provoke him to withdraw his help, and all your endeavours prove in vain. Work with fear, for he
works of his good pleasure.''-To will and to do: he gives the whole ability. It is the grace of God which
inclines the will to that which is good: and then enables us to perform it, and to act according to our
principles. Thou hast wrought all our works in us, Isa. 26:12. Of his good pleasure. As there is no strength
in us, so there is no merit in us. As we cannot act without God's grace, so we cannot claim it, nor pretend to
deserve it. God's good will to us is the cause of his good work in us; and he is under no engagements to his
creatures, but those of his gracious promise. [Henry, Matthew. "Commentary on Philippians 2". "Matthew
Henry Complete Commentary on the Whole Bible".  1706.]

CONCLUSION:

It can clearly be seen that while Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) is a God, he is a lessor
God than his Father, Almighty God (YHWH) and is subordinate to his and not equal to or
before him.  Therefore Christianity is a monotheistic religion.  This is in keeping with the
First of the Ten Commandments, " And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto
Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to
them." (Exodus 6:3 AV) and  " That men may know that thou, whose name alone is
JEHOVAH [Yehovah probably is more in keeping with YHWH], art the most high over all
the earth." (Psalms 83:18 AV), and his Son, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) said, " And
he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy
name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." (Luke 11:2 AV).
Note, he, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) wanted his followers to recognize that his
Father's (YHWH's) name should be "hallowed" and not his own name, clearly showing
he was obedient to his Father, a superior one.

As stated earlier, "Of course, since Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH) is Almighty God (YHWH) only begotten
Son, he is also a God, but a lessor one; therefore, The First Commandment of the Ten Commandments, "
Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3 AV), is not violated since he is neither equal to or
before his Father."  The Bible makes his position as, " The beginning of the gospel of Jesus
Christ, the Son of God;" (Mark 1:1 AV).  He is the ONLY mediator between God (YHWH)
and mankind as shown by, " For there is one God, and one mediator between God and
men, the man Christ Jesus;" (1 Timothy 2:5 AV).

This is a most interesting scripture as it clearly shows Almighty God's (YHWH's) superior
position and that the Father (YHWH) and his Son, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) are two distinct spirit beings with the Son being the subordinate.
