[3]       Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Long pepper (Piper longum), sometimes called Indian long pepper (pipli), is a flowering vine in the family Piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. Long pepper has a taste similar to, but hotter than, that of its close relative Piper nigrum - from which black, green and white pepper are obtained.

The fruit of the pepper consists of many minuscule fruits — each about the size of a poppy seed — embedded in the surface of a flower spike that closely resembles a hazel tree catkin. Like Piper nigrum, the fruits contain the alkaloid piperine, which contributes to their pungency. Another species of long pepper, Piper retrofractum, is native to Java, Indonesia. The fruits of this plant are often confused with chili peppers, which belong to the genus Capsicum, originally from the Americas.

History – The first reference to long pepper comes from ancient Indian textbooks of Ayurveda, where its medicinal and dietary uses are described in detail. It reached Greece in the sixth or fifth century BCE, though Hippocrates discussed it as a medicament rather than a spice.[1] Among the Greeks and Romans and prior to the European rediscovery of the American Continents, long pepper was an important and well-known spice. The ancient history of black pepper is often interlinked with (and confused with) that of long pepper, though Theophrastus distinguished the two in the first work of botany. The Romans knew of both and often referred to either as just piper; Pliny erroneously believed dried black pepper and long pepper came from the same plant. Round, or black pepper, began to compete with long pepper in Europe from the twelfth century and had displaced it by the fourteenth. The quest for cheaper and more dependable sources of black pepper fueled the Age of Discoveries; only after the discovery of the American Continents and of chili pepper, called by the Spanish pimiento, employing their word for long pepper, did the popularity of long pepper fade away.[2] Chili peppers, some of which, when dried, are similar in shape and taste to long pepper, were easier to grow in a variety of locations more convenient to Europe. Today, long pepper is a rarity in general commerce.

Usage – Today, long pepper is a very rare ingredient in European cuisines, but it can still be found in Indian, and Nepalese vegetable pickles, some North African spice mixtures, and in Indonesian and Malaysian   cooking. It is readily available at Indian grocery stores, where it is usually labeled pippali. Pippali is the main spice of Nihari, a dish which is one of the national dishes of Pakistan and Indian metropolis of Lucknow.

Long pepper is known to contain the chemical compound piperlongumine (PL), which has shown activity against many cancers including prostate, breast, lung, colon, lymphoma, leukemia, primary brain tumors and gastric cancer.[7]

Indian long pepper provides cancer protection

The Indian long pepper is an important remedy in Ayurvedic medicine that’s been used to treat a long list of health problems, including insomnia, anxiety, headaches, migraines, toothaches, digestive problems, lung problems and heart problems, practically forever.

And for years now, research has shown that piperlongumine has anti-cancer abilities. Harnessing the long pepper’s anti-cancer power

If you’re interested in adding one more cancer-fighter to your spice rack (and why wouldn’t you be?), you should definitely give the Indian long pepper a try. It’s sweet and spicy flavor works well in soups, stews, veggie dishes and as a dry rub for meat.

You can even use it as a substitute for black pepper if you want to spice up boring old dishes. But be warned… long pepper has a bit more of a bite than black pepper, so you may want to use less.

Unfortunately, the Indian long pepper is not easy to get your hands on. You should, however, be able to find it in dedicated spice shops, Indian markets or online.

You should also know, that if you buy the long pepper fruit in its full form, you’ll have to grind it up to use it as a spice. You can do that with a mortar and pestle or a spice grinder (FYI… the mortar and pestle is the quicker and easier option).

But if you’re not an adventurous eater and the exotic long pepper doesn’t sound appealing to you, don’t fret — there are long pepper supplements on the market too. And I’m willing to bet, whether you add the Indian long pepper to your spice rack or supplement collection, the end result will be the same — better health and reduced cancer risk.

[3]     DISCOURSE ON ACTS 8:37

Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (Authorized King James; AV).

A very dynamic conversion was taking place here as this eunuch of high authority learned the Truth about Jesus (Yeshua) and his Father (YHWH) from the Disciple of Jesus (Yeshua) Philip.  Now let's look at what next took place.  Acts 8:38-39,  "And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.   And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing."   Now what was the significance of the eunuch being baptised?

It is necessary for all followers of Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) to be baptized as clearly shown by the scriptures.   This was shown by the example of Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) getting baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan river, "13  Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.  14  But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?  15  And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.  16  And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17  And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:13-17; AV).  We are told, " For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:" (1 Peter 2:21; AV).

It is also necessary for it to be valid, for the individual first repent of his/her past wrong doings, " Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38, AV).   You must put away, "22  That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23  And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." (Ephesians 4:22-24; AV).

A necessary way of baptizing called for in the scriptures, " Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" (Matthew 28:19; AV).   Most individuals are familiar with this scripture, but few understand the reason for baptizing this way.   

First, "in the name of the Father," this is necessary as it is recognizing the office or authority of Almighty God (YHWH) who created everything and who has always existed per Psalms 90:2.   This is made clear, " That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH [(YHWH)], art the most high over all the earth." (Psalms 83:18; AV), which clearly shows that he is "the most high over all the earth. "And he is the source of live as stated, " For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light." (Psalms 36:9; AV).

Second, "of the Son," this is necessary as it is recognizing the office or authority of the Son, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) who is the only begotten son and the first of creation by his Father (YHWH).  His Father (YHWH) exalted him to a position only second only to himself, "9  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11; AV).   And, he was given, " And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." (Revelation 19:16; AV)

Third, "of the Holy Ghost," this is necessary to recognize the function or activity of the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost).   This is God's (YHWH's) active force that goes forth or emanates from Almighty God (YHWH).  One of its functions is to act as a Comforter to mankind, " But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (John 14:26; AV), "16  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17  Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." (John 14:16-17; AV).

Clearly, Jesus (Yeshua) is the Son of God (YHWH) and not a manifestation of God (YHWH); otherwise Acts 8:37 would read, God the Son, and it does not.

INTRODUCTION:

Both major religions, apostate (counterfeit) Christians that claim to be footstep followers of Christ but are NOT, and Islam both claim to be religions of peace.   However, history tells a very different story.    The apostate (counterfeit) Christians have promoted Crusades [actually on provocation by Islam.]; genocides such as of the Cathers; burnings at the stake by those they did not like and/or believed differently; 30 year war of religion; enslavement of others such as in Goa, India, and the new world; promotion of wars; etc.

The other, Islam, has done just as bad such as attacking and enslaving most of Spain for six centuries; attacking the Byzantine Empire and stealing all of its lands; an attack on France with a view of taking Paris, the sacking/distruction by Fatimid caliph al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and preventing pilgrimages to Jerusalem; the moving on and wrongly occupying the tribal lands of their brother tribe, the Hebrews, of land given to them for perpetuity by the true God (YHWH) of Abraham; the kidnapping of soldiers of their brother tribe with the sole intent of fomenting strive and destroying world tranquility; the bombing of trains/subways in India, Spain, and London for the same purpose; the 9/11 destruction of the World Trade Center; etc.

Now it should be obvious to all that none of these acts these religions have permitted their members to carry out are in any way in line with their claim to be peaceful religions.    Now these acts were/are NOT isolated acts, but part of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) from the top religious leaders.    To wit, Popes, bishops, priest, Caliphs, Sultans, Ayatollahs, Kings, Emirs, dictators, presidents, prime ministers, generals, etc.

Let's look at the wrong in a summarized form.

SUMMARIZED WRONG - SIMPLIEST FORM:

Both of these groups by failing to be peaceful religions as they WRONGLY claim have permitted distress to be caused to others [fill in the name].   When the expected resistance/counter offense/defense occurs from the ones being caused distress by their action and/or inaction they either caused directly and/or permitted by them to their members proves distressful to them, they want it lifted.   Yet, they make no move or suggestion with respect to lifting the distress their victim is experiencing; what outright hypocrisy.   

Peace and tranquility can never exist while groups claiming FALSELY to be peaceful religions, but are NOT, are permitted to exist.   This earth can only have peace and tranquility when these groups are finally eliminated, as promised, by the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael.    Why is this?    Well the Bible clearly shows that Satan the Devil is the ruler of this present wicked system per 1 John 5:19, "And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness." (Authorized King James Bible; AV).   

This will of course occur at the conclusion of this system of things per John 12:31, "Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out." (AV).

Some may view this as taking too long given the current warlike condition of the earth, but Matthew 24:14 says, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." (AV).   And Matthew 24:37-39 clearly shows this end will come suddenly, "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,  39  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." (AV).

Now the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael is NOT slow as some count slowness, but is merciful wanting all to be given a chance as shown at 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (AV); and Isaiah 30:18, "And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him." (AV).

SOLUTION TO WORLD DISTRESS NOT FROM MEN:

Many look to men to solve world problems, but this can NOT happen as mankind has never learned to value right over wrong, and to peacefully sit together and resolve problems.   In fact, with all their world organizations designed to do this, they only make them into one ups-man forms.   

We can see this at the moment with respect to the unconscionable affair between Lebanon and Israel.   An attack on Israel occurs from Lebanon by an armed Islamic army that Lebanon permits in their country.   In this unprovoked attack, eight Israel soldiers are killed and two are kidnapped.   Lebanon clearly abdicates its responsibility to bring to justice the wrong doers or to have the kidnapped victims returned.

Israel does the expected and counter attacks, what else would you expect, when Lebanon does NOT ACCEPT its responsibility to make amends, punish the wrong doers it has permitted to use its country to stage attacks on Israel, nor to have the kidnapped victim returned as any right thinking government would do.   In effect, they permit the fuse to be and are totally responsible for all that results.

Instead of assuming their responsibility, they go to the United Nations and ask to have a truce called, and try to put the responsibility on Israel.   Their filing with the United Nations makes no reference to righting the original wrong or returning the kidnapped victims back to Israel.   To wit, they do NOT want to do justice.   Why?   Because they care NOT about the distress the original aggression they permitted caused to Israel, nor to the continuing distress it is causing.

Clearly Lebanon is  the WRONG, not only for not relieving the distress caused Israel, their neighbor, but for proposing a cease fire that solves NOTHING.   If they were responsible and caring, they would have done two things, (1) immediately seek to right the wrong and make sure it NEVER occurred again, (2) started negotiating for the right venue, a treaty of peace and friendship with Israel.

Of course, the Bible covered this long ago when it showed that the kingdom of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, not men, would succeed in bring peace at Daniel 2:44, "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever." (AV); and Matthew 6:10 in Jesus' (Yeshua's) prayer to his father, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael.

So what should men be doing now?   Well to find out, look at Psalms 2:10-12, "Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.  11  Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  12  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him." (AV).

Face Reality - Hezbollah Started It And Bears Total Responsibility:

INTRODUCTION:

The Middle East is in turmoil today, 07/15/2006.   Why?  Because Hezbollah does NOT want peace, but wants atrocities and war.  Hezbollah  is is an organization made up of members of Islam, a religion that claims to be a religion of peace.  Yet Hezbollah only promotes hate and continues to promote strive and destroy world tranquility and clearly seeks to impede world peace.

It uses Lebanon as a base of operations to make unprovoked attacks on Israel and to kidnap her citizens.  Unfortunately, Lebanon has permitted this wrong doing, and therefore must share in the unpleasant results - too bad as Beirut was once the 'jewel' of the Middle East, a wonderful city.

Now one may ask why does Lebanon want to be an accessory-after-the-fact in Hezbollah's crimes against humanity, and reap the justified whirlwind from Israel for doing so.  Maybe they enjoy having punishment brought on themselves and get some other weird perverted enjoyment from it or something.  But is this the way affairs should be conducted by individuals that claim to belong to a peaceful religion?  All need to think about this and come up with an answer.

THE BIBLE'S VIEW:

Jesus (Yeshua), the Isa, said at Matthew 22:37-40, "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  38  This is the first and great commandment.  39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Authorized King James Bible; AV); and the Apostle Peter wrote at 1 Peter 3:8-15, "Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:  9  Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.  10  For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:  11  Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.  12  For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.  13  And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?  14  But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;  15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:" (AV).

Now as can readily be seen Hezbollah and its supporters [also members of Islam] are NOT desirous of peace although belonging to a religion that claims to be a religion of peace.   Obviously, if they were considered as doing wrong by Islam, then Islam should excommunicate or interdict them from Islam; they have NOT done so.

Of course many members of Islam reject what the Bible says, but is this reasonable considering that their Quran like the Book of Mormon is nothing but a knockoff of the Bible?   Now the well known rule of precedence is that the earlier document shall have precedence over the later that used information from it just as the earlier granting of land title takes precedence in any title search or action at law over the later.   Many overlook the fact that the Bible is NOT the product of one committee or strongman as was the Quran and the Book of Mormon. It has over 40 individual writers who wrote under divine inspiration/guidance putting the thoughts of God (YHWH) into the words of men much as transcribing secretaries today taking transcription and then later typing it out. In other words one real author, God (YHWH), and many scribes each of whom wrote in his own style over a period of approximately 1,600 years. All of what people call or consider inconsistencies are really not such, but most often just a problem of translation and/or understanding, i.e., lack of understanding of what the original writer writing in his own language and culture meant/said in his original writing. What is remarkable, is the writers over such a period of time all wrote in harmony when even most individal writers can not even stay on track or subject over a period of a few days and/or weeks at most with the original subject of the thread. This fact of harmony over a period so great as to almost stagger the imagination shows that it had one guiding force or author who divinely inspired its writers as humans of their own volition can not keep on track over short periods of time.

So as can readily be seen, if one is open minded and honest with himself, what is written in the Bible takes precedence over any other guide book that mankind may have.

ALL SHOULD SEEK PEACE AND BE PEACEMAKERS:

Just at the Bible says at Matthew 5:9, "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." (AV), clearly showing that all should seek to be peacemakers and NOT war makers such as is Hezbollah and their evil backers.   But as we all well know, many in the middle east can not stand tranquility and peace and when ever things have been relatively peaceful for awhile, they commit some type of atrocity that will bring on a confrontation since their objective is to destroy peace and tranquility.  This clearly shows per 1 John 5:19 that their unseen leader is Satan the Devil, "And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness." (AV); and also by 2 Corinthians 4:4, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (AV).

Actions by evil men and the groups perplexes most of mankind and this is shown clearly in the Bible at Luke 21:10, "Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:" (AV) by the prophecy about our time by none other than Jesus (Yeshua), the Isa; and at 2 Timothy 3:1-5, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (AV).   2 Timothy 3:1-5 clearly is speaking about groups like Hezbollah that claim to belong to a religion of peace along with their backers, but do nothing but ferment war, not peace.

Now let''s look at the truth by means of the world news:

THE FACTS FROM THE WORLD NEWS BY ASSOCIATED PRESS:

The Circumstances:

In an article by Kevin Frayer, AP [07/15/2006]the following salient items appeared.
<<" Neither side showed signs of backing down from the conflict, which erupted Wednesday when Hezbollah captured two Israeli soldiers in a cross-border raid. As civilian deaths mounted, diplomatic efforts to end the crisis had yet to get off the ground.>>"

Correct Venue Needed:

In an emotional televised speech, Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Saniora called on the United Nations to broker an immediate cease-fire to end Israel's land, sea and air offensive against Lebanon.">>

Of course a cease-fire is NOT the proper venue because it implies resumption at a future date of violence which is uncalled for.  The proper venue would be a treaty of peace in which both nations agree to respect the others right to peace and tranquility and to not permit military groups to remain on their territory, such as Hezbollah that are dedicated to fermenting violence and promoting war.  Also, it would call for the return of the kidnapped individuals, turning over the war criminals that committed the kidnapping and killed at least eight individuals during commission of this war crime designed to disturb world peace and tranquility; to wit, the perpetrators should be tried by the international war crimes court.

Even Saudi Arabia Recognizes Who Started The Mess:

<<" President Bush, on a trip to Russia, said it was up to Hezbollah "to lay down its arms and to stop attacking." Arab foreign ministers gathered in Cairo but fell into squabbling after moderate states, led by Saudi Arabia, denounced Hezbollah for starting the fight.">>

And,

<<" Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal called the group's actions "unexpected, inappropriate and irresponsible," telling his counterparts: "These acts will pull the whole region back to years ago, and we cannot simply accept them."

Supporting his stance were representatives of Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq, the Palestinian Authority, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, delegates said, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the talks.">>

Now why does the Arab world not unite and punish Hezbollah and turn over the war criminals who started the mess and bare total responsibility for all the death and destruction to the international war crimes court and give back Israel its citizens who were kidnapped?

World Leaders On The Subject:

<<""In my judgment, the best way to stop the violence is to understand why the violence occurred in the first place," Bush said. "And that's because Hezbollah has been launching rocket attacks out of Lebanon into Israel and because Hezbollah captured two Israeli soldiers."

Putin said it was unacceptable to try to reach political goals through abductions and strikes against an independent state. "In this context we consider Israel's concerns to be justified," he said. At the same time, he said, "the use of force should be balanced."">>

Clearly they recognize that Hezbollah and their backers are sole responsible for all that is occurring.  In fact, the Russian leader Putin clearly said, <<" it was unacceptable to try to reach political goals through abductions and strikes against an independent state.">>

Two Little too Late by Government of Lebanon?:

<<" In an emotional televised speech, Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad ...
He also pledged to reassert government authority all over Lebanese territory - suggesting the possibility of deploying the Lebanese army in the south, which Hezbollah effectively controls. That would meet a repeated U.N. and U.S. demand.">>

He has known of this dysfunctional situation for a long time and failed to take action even though he has been asked repeatedly by the U.N. and others.  So he can NOT claim lack of responsibility for the present mess.  Its like the authorities continually warning a property owner about a dangerous uncovered well on his property, and then one day a child falling in it and his wondering why he is being held responsible.  But what does the Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad do?  Basically he cries crocodile tears to the U.N. to do something because of his own failure to heed repeated warnings - how absurd.

Even now, Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad, has NOT attempted to arrest the criminals and return their kidnapped victims and find their organization financially responsibility for all damages done in Israel and his own country.  Something must be wrong with him, what I do NOT know.

CONCLUSION:

Level heads among those belonging to a religion that claims to be a religion of peace need to prevail.  They need to arrange an objective meeting of all directly involved with the view to getting wrongs undone and coming to agreement on a treaty of peace that goes much further than a mere cessation of belligerent acts.  Lebanon, Syria, Israel, and the Palestine squatters need to start working together on the regions problems such as developing the regions economy, the setting up of a regional electrical grid along with Jordan, peaceful commerce between them, joint task force to eliminate terrorist, none permitting of militias and other irregular military groups, and setting up joint fact finding groups.  Lebanon is a beautiful country that if they joined with Israel in setting up a joint economic region could soon become a regional economic powerhouse and create many jobs, not just for their respective citizens, but for the Palestine squatters and the Jordanians and the Syrians.  The region needs economic development and jobs, not war and infrastructure destroying activity.

A discourse on understanding John 1:1.

This discourse will not go down into an in depth explanation of the translating challenges provided by the rather unusual construction of the Apostle John's original writing in Koine (ancient) Greek. Sufficient to say the ancient Greek language had a certain amount of ambiguity as does modern English. Most English translations including the Authorized King James Version (AV), The New American Bible (Catholic) (TNAB), New world Translation (NWT), Goodspeed, Torrey, New English of 1961, Moffatt of 1972, International English Bible (IEB), International Bible Translators N.T. 1981 (IBT), Philip Harner of 1974, Translator's NT of 1973 (TNT), Scholar's Version of 1993, etc. have all made an effort to make the scriptures easier to read and have tried to remove ambiguity of the original text. For example, if the literal text were to say: "The love of God". The translator may decide to translate the text: "God's love for you", or he might translate it: "Your love for God". The reader can interpret the original text either way. when the translator chooses one of the ways to translate a text and eliminates the ambiguity, you miss the opportunity to view the text in other ways. The reader must (if objectivity is to be maintained) keep in mind that the translators of any Bible version were believers in one of the doctrine or beliefs with regard how God Almighty (YHWH), Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves), and the spirit or Holy Ghost relate to each other of which there are five principle beliefs, Oneness Theology, Trinitarian Theology, Arian Theology, Unitarian Theology, and Sabellianism Theology. Therefore, bias will and does exist in translation depending on the translator's theology. This is especially true with respect John 1:1 because of its unique and ambiguous grammatical structure it allows for translators to translate it at least nine different ways that all have equal validity from the language structure point of view, in that none of these can either be proven totally correct or incorrect, i.e., a translator's nightmare. In an unusual case like this the translator can only fall back on related text with similar structure and his own belief system, BIAS.

Now, let's look at the original Koine Greek writing as shown in the work of Westcott & Hort Interlinear (John 1:1-3):

Now let's look at the three most common renderings of John 1:1 into modern English with a brief mention of some of the Bibles that follow each:

1. " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1 AV)
This style rendering is found in most of the Bibles translations made by believers in the Trinitarian Theology and include the Authorized King James Version (AV), The New American Bible (Catholic) (TNAB), etc.

2. "In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god." (John 1:1 NWT)
This style rendering is found in most of the Bible translations made by believers in the Arian theology
And many translators of no particular theology and include The Emphatic Diaglott by Benjamin 1883,  Belsham N.T. 1809, Leicester Ambrose, 1879, Robert Young, 1885, (Concise Commentary), Greek Orthodox /Arabic translation, 1983,etc.

3. "In the beginning there was the Message. The Message was with God. The Message was deity." (John 1:1 International Bible Translators N.T. 1981).
This style rendering is found in most of the Bible translations made by believers in the Unitarian Theology and by some of Arian Theology And many translators of no particular theology and include the International Bible Translators N.T. (IBT), Translator's NT of 1973, Goodspeed of 1939, Moffatt of 1972, Simple English Bible, etc.

Now a short summary of the various beliefs of the varies theological views with respect the nature of God Almighty (YHWH), Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) and the spirit or Holy Ghost and how each views the relationships between each:

five principle beliefs, Oneness Theology, Trinitarian Theology, Arian Theology, Unitarian Theology, and Sabellianism Theology.

ARIAN THEOLOGY
They believe that there is one God, and that God is one. That God is called the Heavenly Father (YHWH). That we have one Lord who is not God, Jesus Christ (Jeshua or YHWH saves), who is the son of God (son of YHWH). And they believe the holy Spirit is the influence of God's power. The Father (YHWH) and Son (Jeshua or YHWH saves), are separate beings and the Father (YHWH) is superior in power, wisdom and authority. Jesus is God's express image and was given all power on heaven and earth.

Uniqueness - They believe that there is but one God (YHWH) who is one person who is the Father.. That His son, Jesus Christ (Jeshua or YHWH saves), was his first creation and through His son created all of creation.

ONENESS THEOLOGY
They believe that the Father (YHWH), the Son, Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) and the Holy Spirit are the same God with no distinction in person or being. That only one God simply manifests himself in these three ways at different times.

Uniqueness - They believe that they are unique in that they conform strictly to the objective of having only one God where as others have more than one God.

SABELLIANISM THEOLOGY
God is three only in relation to the world, in so many "manifestations" or "modes." The unity and identity of God are such that the Son of God, Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) did not exist before the incarnation; because the Father (YHWH) and the Son, Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) are thus one, the Father (YHWH) suffered with the Son, Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) in his passion and death.

Uniqueness - They believe that God is one in earthly manifestations, but not heavenly. [Branham's Bible Believers, Inc.][ to Branham's 1189 page book "Conduct, Order, Doctrine of the Church," the "First thing is to straighten out you on your 'trinity' Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. "God is like a three-foot rule... The first twelve inches was God, the Father; the second twelve inches, God, the Son, the same God; the third twelve inches was God, the Holy Ghost, the same God," (pp.182 & 184). Branham clarifies his position in a speech given October 2, 1957 when he exclaims, "See, there cannot be an Eternal son, because a son had to have a beginning. And so Jesus had a beginning, God had no beginning," (Ibid, p.273).]

TRINITARIAN THEOLOGY
They believe that there is one but God made up of three separate and distinct persons of but one indivisible essence. That these three persons existed from eternity, and are co-equal in power and substance. These individuals are known as Father (YHWH), Son, Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) and the Holy Spirit. The undivided essence of God belongs equally to each of the three persons. The Church (Catholic, Orthodox, and most Protestants) confesses the Trinity to be a mystery beyond the comprehension of man.

Uniqueness - They see a distinction in the persons of God, but hold that there is but one God. It is a mystery, i.e., they are not able to explain it.

UNITARIAN THEOLOGY
They believe that there is one God, the Father (YHWH), and one Lord, Jesus Christ (Jeshua or YHWH saves). Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) became God's son at his birth on earth but had not exist previously. The holy Spirit is God's power.

Uniqueness - They do not believe that their beliefs are similar to Arian, but believe that Jesus's existence began with his earthly birth.

Now that we have considered who believes what, let's consider the meaning of John 1:1. The believers in the Trinity Theology of course translate it to make it appear that the Almighty God Father (YHWH) and his, Son, Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) are one ant the same, but is this reasonable when considered with other Bible text? No it is not as Almighty God's (YHWH's) son ,Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) is clearly shown to be a lesser one than his father, consider, " Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." (John 14:28 AV) where the same writer of John 1:1 clearly shows the Father (YHWH) as being greater as he does again at " Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." (John 5:19 AV) where the Apostle John quotes Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) as saying, "The Son can do nothing of himself." These two verses both in the same book as John 1:1 make it clear that whereas grammatically speaking John 1:1 could be rendered as in the Authorized King James Version it can not be correctly rendered this way due to the contents of the remainder of the Book of John. The writings of Paul even make this clearer, " And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all." (1 Corinthians 15:28 AV), " But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." (1 Corinthians 11:3 AV), "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." (Philippians 2:5-8 AV). All these scriptures show Jesus (Jeshua or YHWH saves) was obedient to his father (YHWH) and subordinate to his father (YHWH). Clearly this shows the error of Oneness Theology, Trinitarian Theology, and Sabellianism Theology.

But let's for argument sake say that the Father and the Son are one God as these three groups claim, we are left with a gap that can not be closed in their theories and the way their biased Bible translators translate John 1:1. Even if we are to accept the way these biased translators translated John 1:1, this verse can in no way be interpreted to justify a "triune" God. Let's do a little analysis, it is immediately obvious from reading this verse translated with a Trinitarian/Oneness/Sabellianism bias that at most we are speaking of a "duality" and not a "triune" God. Even the most resolute Trinitarian/Oneness/Sabellianism believer will never be able to be able to find any mention in this verse of any "merging" of a Holy Ghost with God and with "the word." So even if we accept at face value the rendering in the Authorized King James Version (AV), and have faith, even then, we find ourselves commanded/directed to believe in a "duality" and not a "trinity." In the original ancient (Koine) Greek, manufscript, "the word" is described as "ton theos" (divine/a god) and not as being "ho theos" (the Divine/the God). In my opinion, the writer of this discourse, this verse should be translated something like the following, "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was divine." You will note Word was NOT capitalized in this as no indication or grammatical structure in the original would indicates it should be capitalized; of course this is NOT in accordance with any of the common Bibles such as the Authorized King James (AV), The New American Bible (Catholic) TNAB, the New World Translation (NWT), The New Testament, An American Translation, Goodspeed's Translation, Moffatt's Translation (which uses Logas instead of Word), etc.

Another point to consider, is other verses using "ho theos" in the Bible in the original Koine Greek; such as " In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (2 Corinthians 4:4 AV) We find the same word ("ho theos") being used in John 1:1 to describe God Almighty (YHWH) is now used to describe the Devil, then why should it be changed from simply translating it as "the god" when referring to the Devil while "divine" is translated as "God" when referring to "the Word"? Also, as previously dealt with, why is Word capitalized? The term god can be applied to anyone with an elevated position as shown by " I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High." (Psalms 82:6 AV). In fact, The Catholic New World Dictionary to the New American Bible, 1970 candidly admits, "In the New Testament, the Greek Theos with the article (The God) means the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (see Rom. 1:7; 1 Cor. 1:3; 2 Cor. 1:2; etc.). Thus God is almost the name of the first person of the blessed Trinity. Without the article, God designates the divinity, and so is applicable to the pre-existing Word (Jn. 1:3). The term God is applied to Jesus in only a few texts, and even their interpretation is under dispute (Jn. 20:28; Rom. 9:5; Tit. 2:13; 2 Pet. 1:1)." This clearly proves the point that the translators with a Trinitarian Theology bias have little or no support for their way of translating John 1:1.

Yet another point to consider is the meaning of Father and of Son, "The Doctrine of The Trinity defies the universally accepted and historically always held meaning of the words for father and son. Not only does it defy the meaning of these words, it destroys their meaning! This fact is important to realize for God gave us language. It was not invented by man as the evolutionist tries to say. Thus, we are not destroying man made terms, but God-given terms! These terms, as given to us by God, require that the father exists before the son, and for the son to be brought into existence by the father. This universally accepted and recognized definition is what these terms have meant from the beginning of this creation. Therefore, who has given anyone the authority to change these God-given terms now? In fact, The Lord Jesus Christ verifies the meaning of these terms when he says, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him." John 13:16.  "Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." John 14:28. Here, he establishes that God is his lord, that he was sent by his lord, that God is his Father, and that his Father is greater than he himself. How could any of these declarations be true if the Doctrine of The Trinity is true? It is clearly impossible for these declarations of The Lord Jesus Christ to be true and the Doctrine of The Trinity to be True! It is easy to see that these words of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Doctrine of the Trinity are mutually exclusive and opposing views!


Now notice that verses fifteen and sixteen require that this special son has to learn the difference between good and evil. If he was God, then how could such a statement apply? Isn't God omniscient? Isn't this passage teaching us that this special son would have to go through a learning process like every other normal natural human being? Isn't it telling us that he at one time did not know the difference between good and evil? Isn't it teaching us that he would have to learn to refuse the evil and choose the good? The answer to these questions is obviously yes! It doesn't take someone with a doctorate degree to answer them. In fact, the only too obvious answer to all of these questions destroys The Trinitarian concept of this special son. Furthermore, this conclusion from this passage is verified by what is said about The Lord Jesus Christ in The New Testament. Consider the following passages:
And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. Luke 2:40.
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Luke 2:52.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Matt. 24:36.
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Mark 13:32.
For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. John 5:20.
And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. Acts 1:7
The revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John. Rev. 1:1.
At this point, let us briefly look at the implications of the above listed passages. We will take them in the order in which we quoted them." ( an excerpt from a letter of Bro. Scaramastro).
Now as can be readily seen from the foregoing, John 1:1 can definitely be translated at least nine different ways that all have equal validity from the language structure point of view, in that none of these can either be proven totally correct or incorrect; however, by reasoning and looking at other text using the same word, we can see even if we accept translations having a "triune" God bias there is only a "duality" shown, but the same word used elsewhere indicates this is not the way it should be translated.
