SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Friday]
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (Hebrews 1:9}
Jesus (Yeshua) in addition to teaching his disciples about love, however, Jesus taught them what to hate. It was said with reference to Jesus (Yeshua) that he also said that he hated iniquity.
This shows that we must develop not only a love of righteousness, but also a hatred of sin, or lawlessness. It is noteworthy that the apostle Apostle John specifically stated, “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” (1 John 3:4).

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Saturday]
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (Colossians 2:8)
Today there are many who try and mislead with their vain philosophy such as atheism, but we should be on guard against being mislead by men and their traditions. Instead we should follow Jesus (Yeshua) who is Almighty God (YHWH) son and gain everlasting life.
You know that life offers many attractions—vacations in fascinating places, interesting reading or research, pleasant company, beautiful music. And there are other activities that bring satisfaction great and small. Those with a deep faith in God, and particularly in the God of the Bible, Jehovah, have more reasons to love life. True faith is a source of strength and serenity that can help people to deal with difficult times. Believers in the true God can confidently say: “Jehovah is my helper; I will not be afraid.” (Hebrews 13:6) People acquainted with God’s love feel loved by him. They respond to his love, drawing deep joy from it. (1 John 4:7, 8, 16) They can lead an active and altruistic life that is a source of satisfaction. It is just as Jesus Christ said: “There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.”—Acts 20:35.
Sadly, there is another side to the present life. There are widespread suffering, injustice, poverty, sickness, and death—to mention just some of the painful features that often make life barely tolerable. The rich, powerful, and wise King Solomon of the ancient nation of Israel lacked none of the resources that can make people happy. Yet, there was something that troubled him—the realization that at death he would have to leave to someone else all that ‘his hard work,’ performed “with wisdom and with knowledge and with proficiency,” had procured for him.—Ecclesiastes 2:17-21.
Like Solomon, most are aware of the brevity of life, which slips by all too rapidly. The Scriptures say that God ‘has put eternity into our minds.’ (Ecclesiastes 3:11, Byington) This sense of eternity moves man to ponder life’s brevity. In the long run, without finding convincing answers to the meaning of life and death, one can become burdened with feelings of pessimism and futility. This can make life sad.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Sunday]
Ponder over these things; be absorbed in them, that your advancement may be manifest to all persons.—1 Tim. 4:15.
Good judgment needs to be exercised by young people. Consider the advice the apostle Paul gave to the Corinthians. He wrote: “Do not become young children in powers of understanding . . . Become full-grown in powers of understanding.” (1 Cor. 14:20) Heeding the counsel to acquire the ability to think and reason like a full-grown person will help young people to avoid making serious mistakes. If you are a young person, bear in mind that becoming mature requires effort. Paul told Timothy: “Become an example to the faithful ones in speaking, in conduct, in love, in faith, in chasteness. . . . Continue applying yourself to public reading, to exhortation, to teaching.” (1 Tim. 4:12, 13) Christian youths need to make progress and make their advancement manifest to others.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Monday]
He will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel.—Genesus 3:15.
In this prophecy, we learn something about the cost of deliverance. Jehovah would provide a “seed,” a rescuer, who would one day destroy Satan, crushing him out of existence. However, that rescuer would suffer along the way, receiving a figurative wound in the heel. That sounds painful and debilitating, but what does it mean? Just what would Jehovah’s Chosen One have to endure? In order to save mankind from sin, the rescuer would have to provide a means of atonement, a way of reconciling humans to God by undoing the effects of sin. What would that involve? There were early indications that a sacrifice would be required. When the first faithful human, Abel, offered animal sacrifices to Jehovah, he met with divine approval. Later, such God-fearing patriarchs as Noah, Abraham, Jacob, and Job offered similar sacrifices, which pleased God.—Gen. 4:4; 8:20, 21; 22:13; 31:54; Job 1:5.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Tuesday]
The woman was thoroughly deceived.—1 Timothy 2:14.
Many do not believe that Satan exists. Thus, although they might be alarmed about world conditions, they do not discern the real cause—Satan the Devil. True, much of the responsibility for mankind’s woes rests with humans themselves. Our first parents, Adam and Eve, chose independence from their Creator. And since then, successive generations have acted very unwisely. Still, it was the Devil who deceived Eve into rebelling against God. He is the one who has developed among imperfect, dying mankind a world system under his control. Because Satan is “the god of this system of things,” human society displays the same basic characteristics that he does—pride, contentiousness, jealousy, greed, deception, and rebelliousness. (2 Cor. 4:4; 1 Tim. 3:6; Jas. 3:14, 15) Such characteristics have led to political and religious conflicts, hatred, corruption, and disorder, which contribute much to mankind’s misery.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Wednesday]
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20 (Authorized King James Bible; AV)
So if at times we see something that we feel is unfair on Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) part-whether we read it in a Bible account or experience it in our personal life-let us never judge Almighty God (YHWH) by our own standards of righteousness. Remember that we do not always have all the facts and that our viewpoint may be distorted or limited. Never forget that “man’s wrath does not work out Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) righteousness. In this way, our hearts will never become “The folly of a man, subverteth his way, and, against Yahweh, his heart is angry.” (Prov. 19:3).
Like Jesus (Yeshua), let us always acknowledge that Almighty God (YHWH) alone has the right to set the standard for what is righteous and good. (Mark 10:17-18). Strive to gain an”accurate knowledge” or “a real knowledge” of his standards. (Rom. 10:2, 2 Tim. 3:7). By accepting these and conforming our lives to Almighty God’s (YHWH’s). By accepting these and conforming our lives to Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) will, we show that we are seeking first “his righteousness.” (Matt. 6:33).

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Thursday]
And be not configuring yourselves unto this age, but be transforming yourselves by the renewing of your mind, to the end ye may be proving what is the thing willed by God––the good and acceptable and perfect. Hebrews 12:2 (Rotherham Bible; RB)
What does it mean to seek first Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) righteousness? Simply stated, it means to do God’s will in oder to please him. Seeking his righteousness includes trying to live according to his values and perfect standards and not our own. This way of life involves our very relationship with Almighty God (YHWH). It is not a matter of simply obeying his laws out of fear of punishment. Rather, our love for Almighty God (YHWH) motivates us to endeavor to please him by upholding his standards, not establishing our own. We realize that this is the right thing to do, the very thing that we have been designed to do. Like Jesus (Jeshua) Christ, the King of God’s Kingdom, we must love righteousness (Heb. 1:8-9).

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Friday]
Then, opened he their mind, to understand the Scriptures; Luke 24:45 (Rotherham Bible; RB)
On one occasion, Jesus (Yeshua) was speaking to a group of Sadducees – a sect of Judaism associated with the Jewish priesthood of the 1 st. century who did not believe in the resurrection. Jesus said to them, Matthew 22:31-33, “But, as touching the resurrection of the dead––Have ye not read what was spoken unto you by God, saying–– 32 I, am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?––He is not God, of the dead, but, of the living. 33 And, the multitudes, hearing, were being struck with astonishment at his teaching.” (RB). Now here was a scripture that they well knew, written down by a man that the Sadducees revered – Moses. Thus Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) explanation was quite forceful. He thus opened up their minds to fully grasp the meaning of the scripture.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Saturday]
Unceasingly, pray, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (Rotherham Bible; RB).
Now this scripture brings up the question of, do all prayers go to the same place, regardless of who is being addressed? In the world of today, it is often popular to assume so. The notion appeals to many who favor interfaith movements and want all religions to be acceptable, despite their differences. But fail to consider that this idea is untrue?
In fact, inspired word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible, learly shows that, in fact, many prays are misdirected. Back when the Bible was written, it was common for people to direct their prayers to carved images; however Almighty God (YHWH) repeatedly warned against this practice. For example at Psalm 115:4-6 it says of idols, “Their idols, are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men,–– 5 A mouth, have they, but they speak not, Eyes, have they, but they see not; 6 Ears, have they, but they hear not, A nose, have they, but they smell not:” (RB). Now the point is clear. Why pray to a god who will never hear you?
A vivid inspired word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible, account enlarges on this point with respect the true prophet Elijah when he challenged the prophets of Baal to pray to their god, after which Elijah would pray to his. Elijah said that the true God would answer and the false one would not. Accepting this challenge, the Baal prophets initiated long and hard prayers, even with loud outcries, to their false god Baal [[Actually the same as Allah, if any want proof of this drop me a request with your email address, and I will send]], but to no avail! The account at 1 Kings 18:29 reads, “And so it was, when noon was passed, that although they prophesied until the offering up of the evening gift, yet was there no voice nor any that answered, nor any that hearkened.” (RB).
After Elijah prayed, his Gpd answered instantly, sending fire from heaven to consume an offering that Elijah had set out. Now, what was the difference? There is one vital clue in Elijah’s prayer itself as recorded at 1 Kings 18:36-37, “And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the gift, that Elijah the prophet drew near, and said, O Yahweh, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel! Today, let it be known––That, thou, art God in Israel, and that, I, am thy servant,––and that, by thy word, have I done all these things. 37 Answer me, O Yahweh! answer me, That this people may know, that, thou––Yahweh, art GOD,––so shalt, thou thyself, have turned their heart back again.” (RB). He addressed the true God 3 times in this short prayer.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY – [Sunday]
Then the proconsul, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord. Acts 13:12 [American Standard Version: AVS]
JESUS (Yeshua) CHRIST gave his followers no small commission. He commanded them: “.. this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.” As they did that work, eventually the “Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:.”—Matthew. 24:14; 28:19.
The disciples loved both Jesus (Yeshua) and the good news. Yet, they might well have wondered just how they could possibly carry out their commission. After all, they were few in number. Jesus (Yeshua), whom they proclaimed to be the Son of God, had been put to death. His disciples were viewed as “uneducated and ordinary.” (Acts 4:13) But they were to deliver a message that ran counter to the teachings of the prestigious religious leaders, who were schooled in traditions that dated back to ancient times. In their own homeland, the disciples were not held in esteem . And compared to the rest of the glorious Roman Empire, what was the nation of Israel?
Moreover, Jesus (Yeshua) had warned his disciples that they would be hated and persecuted and that some of them would be killed. (Luke 21:16, 17) They would have to contend with betrayal, false prophets, and the increasing of lawlessness. (Matt. 24:10-12) Even if their message would be well-received everywhere, how could they possibly take it “… unto the uttermost part of the earth.”? (Acts 1:8) Such challenges must have seemed daunting!
To illustrate: Because of what the apostle Paul said and did on the island of Cyprus, the Roman proconsul Sergius Paulus “And when they had gone through the whole island unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar–jesus; 7 who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of understanding. The same called unto him Barnabas and Saul, and sought to hear the word of God. 8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn aside the proconsul from the faith. 9 But Saul, who is also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, fastened his eyes on him, 10 and said, O full of all guile and all villany, thou son of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? 11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. 12 Then the proconsul, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord.” Acts 13:6 – 12.
