SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members. Romans 7:22 – 23 [American Standard Version; ASV]
First, we have an ongoing struggle against our fleshly tendencies. The apostle Peter exhorted us, “(be) as free (people), and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.” 1 Peter 2:16 [ASV].
Second, We have a battle to wage against this world under demon influence. Satan, the Devil, the ruler of the world aims his missles at us in an attempt to break our loyalty to Almighty God (YHWH) and his Son, Jesus (Yeshua) per, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11- 12. [ASV]. He seeks to enslave us by tempting us to give in to his corrupting influence. He does this by making his world seem attractive, alluring. But remember is anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, because everything in the world – the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of live does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. (1 John 2:15 – 16).

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.—1 Corinthians 5:13.
The first-century Corinthian congregation faced the situation of a man who unrepentantly practiced fornication. His conduct threatened the purity of the congregation and was a scandal even among nonbelievers. Hence, Paul rightly directed that the man be removed from the congregation. (1 Cor. 5:1, 7, 11-13) The congregation was thus protected from a corrupting influence, and the sinner was brought to his senses and to sincere repentance. On the basis of the man’s works befitting repentance, Paul indicated in his second letter to that congregation that the man should be reinstated. Paul also directed that the congregation “kindly forgive and comfort [the repentant sinner], that somehow such a man may not be swallowed up by his being overly sad.” (2 Cor. 2:5-8) Should we not likewise ‘confirm our love’ for sinners who truly repent and are reinstated?—Matt. 6:14, 15; Luke 15:7.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
Keep on the watch with me.—Matthew 26:38.
Jesus wants us to remain watchful because of what we do not know and what we do know. When Jesus was a man on earth, did he know all that the future held? No, for he humbly acknowledged: “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matt. 24:36) At that time, Jesus, “the Son,” did not know exactly when the end of this wicked world would come. What about us today? Is our knowledge of the future limited? Of course it is! We do not know just when Jehovah will send forth his Son to put an end to this wicked system of things. If we did, would we really need to keep on the watch? As Jesus explained, the end will come suddenly, unexpectedly; so we need to keep ever watchful. (Matt. 24:43) And, thanks to Jesus, we do know a great deal about God’s Kingdom and what it will accomplish in the near future

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
Whenever it is that they are saying, ‘Peace and security!’ then sudden destruction wi to be instantly upon them just as the pang of distress upon a pregnant worme; and they will by no means escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:3
The word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible likens the world’s destruction to the onset of labor – the mother’s pain is inevitable and comes suddenly. The time leading up to the end is also like a pregnancy, for an expectant mother is aware of ever-increasing signs of the coming birth. Her doctor might estimate the birth date, yet, even if the event should delay; she would still be sure that her baby will soon be born. Similarly, any mistaken expectations about the end do not alter the unmistakable features identifying these as “But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.”, 2 Timothy 3:1.
However, if the sign that we are near the end is so obvious, you might ask, why do so many people fail to recognize it? The Bible shows that when the end is near, many will belittle the evidence. Rather than acknowledge the fundmental changes during the last days, they would scoff; “For YOU know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4 and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep [in death], all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.” 2 Peter 3:3-4. In other words the sign of the last days is clear, but many will ignore per Matthew 24:38-39, “For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39 and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.”

Keep on asking, and it will be given you.—Luke 11:9.
Your continued preaching of the good news of the Kingdom may draw ridicule. But remember that “if you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy, because the spirit of glory, even the spirit of God, is resting upon you.” (1 Pet. 4:14) Holy spirit is God’s free gift to those who sincerely seek it. It can enhance not only your abilities but also your desire to do your best in his service. “God is the one that, for the sake of his good pleasure, is acting within you in order for you both to will and to act.” The precious gift of holy spirit, coupled with our earnest efforts to keep “a tight grip on the word of life,” will allow us to “keep working out [our] own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Phil. 2:12, 13, 16) With complete confidence in God’s spirit, then, pour your heart into every assignment, become skilled at what you are given to do, and look to Jehovah for assistance.—Jas. 1:5.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
This is the end of the matter; all hath been heard: fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13.
Yes, it is imperative to keep the commandments of Almighty God (YHWH) as this is the whole duty of man, but today many are seeking to override this duty on the basis of so called life style. However, this is no justification for doing wrong in violation of the specific commandments of Almighty God (YHWH) given at Romans 1:19-28 and many other places in the Bible.
To wit, In the beginning, Almighty God (YHWH), said at Genesis 2:23-24, “And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” And so it has been for many thousands of years, but now in the time of the culmination of the end times as prophesized at 2 Timothy 4:1-6, many are straying from Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) and supporting activities directly in contradiction to Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) commandments; to wit, they are now even supporting same sex marriages, living together without being married, and other wrong practices. They justify these wrongs by saying it is just a different life style, but of course they fail to mention it is a wrong life style, and that their arguments could also be used to justify pedophilism, bestiality, and other acts against The Inspired Word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
By faith Moses . . . refused to be called the son of the daughter of Pharaoh.—Hebrews 11:24.
Moses had exemplary faith and courage. He and his brother, Aaron, repeatedly appeared before tyrannical Pharaoh of Egypt and courageously announced the Ten Plagues by which Jehovah disgraced Egyptian gods and delivered His people. (Ex., chaps. 7-12) Moses displayed faith and courage because he had God’s unfailing support, even as we do. (Deut. 33:27) We need courage like that of Moses, for Jesus said: “You will be haled before governors and kings for my sake, for a witness to them and the nations. However, when they deliver you up, do not become anxious about how or what you are to speak; for what you are to speak will be given you in that hour; for the ones speaking are not just you, but it is the spirit of your Father that speaks by you.” (Matt. 10:18-20) If we are interrogated by secular authorities, Jehovah’s spirit will enable us to bear witness respectfully with faith and courage.—Luke 12:11, 12.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
and there is not a created thing not manifest before Him, but all things are naked and open to His eyes—with whom is our reckoning. (Hebrews 4:13) (Youngs Literal Translation; YLT)
Justice will not be hampered by human limitations since Almighty God (YHWH) sees everything and will require an accounting. Concerning his Son, Jesus (Yeshua) Christ, we read, “To refresh him in the fear of Jehovah, And by the sight of his eyes he judgeth not, Nor by the hearing of his ears decideth. 4 And he hath judged in righteousness the poor, And decided in uprightness for the humble of earth, And hath smitten earth with the rod of his mouth, And with the breath of his lips he putteth the wicked to death.” (Isaiah 11:3-4) (YLT).

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
You will certainly become my special property out of all other peoples, because the whole earth belongs to me. And you yourselves will become to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.—Exodus 19:5, 6.
As part of his covenant with Abraham, Jehovah had promised: “By means of your seed all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves.” (Gen. 22:18) The Law covenant was a further development of this promise. On the basis of it, Israel could become Jehovah’s “special property out of all other peoples.” For what purpose? To ‘become to Jehovah a kingdom of priests.’ The Israelites were familiar with kings and priests, but Melchizedek was the only man of the past who had held both offices at the same time with Jehovah’s approval. (Gen. 14:18) Jehovah now offered to the nation the opportunity of producing “a kingdom of priests.” As inspired writings later indicated, this meant the opportunity to furnish a royal priesthood, kings who would also be priests.—1 Pet. 2:9.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.—Ecclesiastes 9:11.
As we draw ever closer to the end of this wicked world, more and more of Jehovah’s people are being affected by disasters and tragedies. We may find that our hearts are weighed down when we lose loved ones or suffer personal difficulties. Or we might even find ourselves plagued by some distressing circumstances or perceived injustices. Our anguished hearts may cry out: ‘Why, Jehovah? Why me? What did I do wrong?’ (Hab. 1:2, 3) We need to be careful not to assume that such events are an indication of Jehovah’s disapproval. Jesus highlighted this fact when referring to two tragedies that occurred in his day. (Luke 13:1-5) Many calamities are the result of “time and unforeseen occurrence.” But no matter what the cause of our distress, we can cope if we focus our attention on “the God of all comfort.” He will give us the strength required to continue on faithfully.—2 Cor. 1:3-6.
