SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [Sunday]
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 1 John 4:14, [authorized King James Bible; AV]
Almighty God (YHWH) arranged a means for overcoming the effects of sin and freeing us from the penalty of eternal death. How? He sent his beloved Son from heaven to be born as a perfect human like Adam. But, unlike Adam, Jesus “committed no sin.” (1 Peter 2:22) Because he was perfect, he did not come under the penalty of death and he could have lived forever as a perfect human.
Instead, however, Almighty God (YHWH) allowed Jesus to be killed by his enemies. Three days later, Jehovah brought him back to life as a spirit so that he could in time return to heaven. There, Jesus presented to Almighty God (YHWH) the value of his perfect human life to redeem what Adam had lost for himself and his offspring. Jehovah accepted that sacrifice, making it possible for those who exercise faith in Jesus to receive everlasting life.—Romans 3:23, 24; 1 John 2:2.
Jesus thus bought back what Adam had forfeited. He suffered death for us so that we could live forever. The Bible says: “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.” (Hebrews 2:9, [AV])

This provision reveals much about Jehovah. His high standard of justice made it impossible for imperfect humans to redeem themselves. However, his love and mercy moved him to meet his own requirements at an enormous cost to himself—the giving of his own Son to provide the redemption price.—Romans 5:6-8.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:20-22, [authorized King James Bible; AV]
There is no doubt that Jesus lived and died, but what evidence is there that he was raised from the dead? Among the strongest evidence is the fact that the resurrected Jesus appeared to many people on different occasions and at different places. Once, he appeared to more than 500 people. The apostle Paul wrote of that in his letter to the Corinthians, noting that some of those witnesses were still alive, implying that they could testify to what they had seen and heard.—1 Corinthians 15:3-8.
Significantly, when Paul wrote that Christ was “the firstfruits” of those raised up, he was indicating that others too would later be resurrected. Jesus himself said that the time would come when “all those in the memorial tombs” would “come out.”—John 5:28, 29.

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [Tuesday]
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16, [authorized King James Bible; AV]
The first pages of the Bible tell of the time when death came to be and Paradise was lost. The final pages tell of the time when death will be brought to nothing and God will restore Paradise to the earth. People will then be able to live happy, productive lives forever. ( Revelation 21:4, [AV]) says: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” To underscore the reliability of that promise, (Revelation 2:5, [AV]) states: “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful” What Almighty God (YHWH) promises, he is fully able to do.
Do you believe that “these words are faithful and true”? Then,learn more about Jesus Christ, and exercise faith in him. If you do, you will gain Jehovah’s approval. Not only will you experience his rich blessing now but you will gain the hope of life eternal in the earthly Paradise, where “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”

Like a strategist organizing a battle, we do well to anticipate potential dangers to our spirituality (Proverbs 22:3). For example, you may have to decide whether to accept a new job or promotion at work. You would logically consider pay, travel time to and from work, and other details. However, there are other points to keep in mind: Will the type of work be compatible with The Inspired Word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible’s principles? How might the hours, such as with shift work, affect my Christian activities per Luke 14:28-30.

A wise man shall hear, and shall be wiser: and he that understandeth shall possess governments. He shall understand a parable and the interpretation, the words of the wise, and their mysterious sayings. (Proverbs 1:5-6, Douay Rheims Catholic Bible; DRCB)
Though it calls for effort, we can acquire direction and learn to ‘sail’ successfully on the sea of life. As Proverbs indicates, we have to let ‘wisdom,’ ‘understanding,’ and ‘insight’ work together (Proverbs 1:2-6; 2:1-9). And we can not neglect seeking divine guidance, for even the wicked may know how to ‘steer’ for unjust ends per Proverbs 12:5.

For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, Luke 19:43 (Authorized King James Bible; AV)
This is figurative language clearly showing that haters and enemies would give no peace to Jesus (Yeshua) genuine true followers. Clearly Luke 19:42 shows this to be true. Yes today literal trenches are not thrown around you, but haters of truth make false accusations and charges against his true followers. These evil ones are aptly described at Romans 1:30, “Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,” They also infiltrate in among his genuine true followers and commit evil acts in an attempt to discredit his genuine true followers. But be you not surprised as 2 Corinthians 4:4 says of the leader of the evil ones, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” And this reality with respect how his genuine true followers would be treated is highlighted at 1 Corinthians 4:13, “Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.” Look around the world today and the truth of this will readily become apparent. And 1 Timothy 3:1 makes it clear, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” And they are now here.

Today the world news continues to make us aware that the present days are perilous. We hear more and more about sexual assaults and pedophiles, many going after ever younger victims. These evil ones infiltrate all kinds of organizations, where ever victims can be found. In fact, the University of Pennsylvania was infiltrated by a pedophile assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky. Years ago you seldom heard of such things in the news as it had not yet become a major problem as it now is.
The perpetrators are evil individuals following wicked temptations of Satan the Devil per 2 Corinthians 4:4. In fact, The Inspired Word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible, clearly says at 1 Corinthians 6:9, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, “ We must be on guard against the temptations of the Devil as shown at James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” However, pedophiles and other sexual deviants give into the temptations of Satan the Devil and become evil ones.. We must be constantly on guard against such evil ones.

Where anyone hears the word of the kingdom but does not get the sense of it, the wicked one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart; this is the one sown alongside the road. Matthew 13:19 (New World Translation, NWT)
We must study diligently and become strong in the accurate knowledge of Almighty God (YHWH) because our adversary the Devil is like a roaring lion seeking to mislead all into wrong doing. As 2 Corinthians 4:4 says, “among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.” He quietly infiltrates the ranks of genuine true followers of Jesus (Yeshua) with evil ones as revealed by Galatians 2:4-5, “But because of the false brothers brought in quietly, who sneaked in to spy upon our freedom which we have in union with Christ Jesus, that they might completely enslave us— to these we did not yield by way of submission, no, not for an hour, in order that the truth of the good news might continue with YOU.” These ones seek to commit evil acts against others such as those mentioned at Romans 1:19-29, “because what may be known about God is manifest among them, for God made it manifest to them. For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable; because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God nor did they thank him, but they became empty-headed in their reasonings and their unintelligent heart became darkened. Although asserting they were wise, they became foolish and turned the glory of the incorruptible God into something like the image of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed creatures and creeping things. Therefore God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonored among them, even those who exchanged the truth of God for the lie and venerated and rendered sacred service to the creation rather than the One who created, who is blessed forever. Amen. That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error. And just as they did not approve of holding God in accurate knowledge, God gave them up to a disapproved mental state, to do the things not fitting, filled as they were with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, badness, being full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malicious disposition, being whisperers,” And, this is further made clear at 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10, “ What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom.” But today, these evil ones sneak in and infiltrate Jesus (Yeshua) followers on earth and must be cleaned out when they are found out, but unfortunately they have already done much evil and wicked works, often against the young.

Here the evil Pharisees were testing and trying to trick Jesus (Yeshua) and give him a hard time (now known as harassment). However, Jesus (Yeshua) answered them with REALITY as follows at Matthew 22:37-40, “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” At this he asked them some questions at Matthew 22:41-45, “While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David. He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?” And they were not able to answer. .

Now the Pharisees made this false accusation due to hate as testified to at John 15:18, “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you..” Jesus (Yeshua) answered them at Matthew 12:25-28, “And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” Testifying to what is written at Luke 16:13, “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
Today, those hating the truth make many false accusations against his genuine true followers such as falsely accusing them of hierocracy, being an evil cult, etc. and other forms that clearly show hate, but as Jesus (Yeshua) said at 1 John 3:13, “Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you” (Authorized King James Bible; AV)
