Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    DEVIANT SEX CARRIED TO THE ULTIMATE LIMIT BY FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION (FGM) BY MEMBERS OF ISLAM AND A FEW COPTIC’S.

[1]       SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 489A]

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?   Matthew 24:3,  [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Jesus (Yeshua) answered them at Matthew 24:4 – 6, [AV] “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  5  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  6  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Clearly showing the time for the end of the world (system of things) was still in the future.  At Matthew 24:36, [AV], he revealed, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” The date for the end was NOT known by him, but only known to his father.  But he did reveal to his disciples how the beginning of the culmination of the end times sould be at Matthew 24:7, [AV] “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.  8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.”  And that it would be necessary for all his followers per Matthew 12 – 13, [AV] “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” To stand fast with being his genuine followers during this period.

[2]       DEVIANT SEX CARRIED TO THE ULTIMATE LIMIT BY FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION (FGM) BY MEMBERS OF ISLAM AND A FEW COPTIC’S.
FIRST, LET’S LOOK AT A DEFINITION OF WHAT IT IS:  FGM, or cutting, as it is also sometimes known, is the removal of the external female genitalia. The procedure has no health benefits, but can cause great harm and serious health complications for those who undergo the procedure. Besides causing severe pain, the practice has immediate and long-term consequences for the health of women and girls, including complications during childbirth, which could endanger the lives of both mother and child.
It is practiced in many countries by members of Islam and in Egypt this evil sexually deviant practice is even carried on by a few of their Coptic neighbors upon whom they the bad practices of their Islamic neighbors has rubbed off.   Islam in general does NOT have a high regard for women and their rights as will be seen in this article.
“UNICEF estimated in 2016 that 200 million women living today in 30 countries—27 African countries, Indonesia, Iraqi Kurdistan and Yemen—have undergone the procedures. Typically carried out by a traditional circumciser using a blade, FGM is conducted from days after birth to puberty and beyond.  [sourc - retrieved from  http://cloudregistrants.com/reviews/female-mutilation-in-islam.com   on  4/22/2017]”
The Middle East Form says this about it:
(quote)  Is Female Genital Mutilation an Islamic Problem?by Thomas von der Osten-Sacken and Thomas Uwer
Middle East Quarterly, Winter 2007, pp. 29-36
Among social activists and feminists, combating female genital mutilation (FGM) is an important policy goal. Sometimes called female circumcision or female genital cutting, FGM is the cutting of the clitoris of girls in order to curb their sexual desire and preserve their sexual honor before marriage. The practice, prevalent in some majority Muslim countries, has a tremendous cost: many girls bleed to death or die of infection. Most are traumatized. Those who survive can suffer adverse health effects during marriage and pregnancy. New information from Iraqi Kurdistan raises the possibility that the problem is more prevalent in the Middle East than previously believed and that FGM is far more tied to religion than many Western academics and activists admit.
Many Muslims and academics in the West take pains to insist that the practice is not rooted in religion[1] but rather in culture. "When one considers that the practice does not prevail and is much condemned in countries like Saudi Arabia, the center of the Islamic world, it becomes clear that the notion that it is an Islamic practice is a false one," Haseena Lockhat, a child clinical psychologist at North Warwickshire Primary Care Trust, wrote.[2] True, FGM occurs in non-Muslim societies in Africa. And in Arab states such as Egypt, where perhaps 97 percent of girls suffer genital mutilation,[3] both Christian Copts and Muslims are complicit.
But at the village level, those who commit the practice believe it to be religiously mandated. Religion is not only theology but also practice. And the practice is widespread throughout the Middle East. Many diplomats, international organization workers, and Arabists argue that the problem is localized to North Africa or sub-Saharan Africa,[4] but they are wrong. The problem is pervasive throughout the Levant, the Fertile Crescent, and the Arabian Peninsula, and among many immigrants to the West from these countries. Silence on the issue is less reflective of the absence of the problem than insufficient freedom for feminists and independent civil society to raise the issue.
Detecting Female Genital Mutilation
It is perhaps understandable that many diplomats and academics do not recognize the scope of the problem. Should someone wish to understand the sexual habits of Westerners, he would not face a difficult task. He could survey personal advertisements, watch talk shows, and read magazine articles explaining the best ways to enhance sexual experience, not to mention numerous scientific publications on sex and gender relations. Public knowledge of trivial and even painful matters is incumbent in Western culture. The multitude of sexual habits and gender relations represents a vital element of life in the West, much the same as the economy, politics, sports, and culture.
If, however, someone wants to study sexual relations and habits in Middle Eastern societies, it would be difficult to find comparable traces in public. Almost everything connected with sexuality and personal relations is hidden in a private sphere. Advisory books and research on sexual habits are almost nonexistent beyond comprehensive rules and prohibitions outlined by Islamic law or, in Shi'ite societies, beyond the questions and responses submitted to senior ayatollahs. Sex education is not taught at the university, let alone in any high school. Psychology remains a shadow discipline, almost absent in the eastern Middle East and only slightly more present in North Africa where more than a century of French rule offered more opportunity for it to take root. The Library of the British Psychoanalytical Society, for example, holds only one journal on psychotherapy or psychoanalysis in Arabic. Arab psychoanalyst Jihad Mazarweh gave an interview in the German weekly Die Zeit in which he said, "For most people, speaking about sexuality, as it happens in psychoanalysis, is almost unthinkable."[5] It would be a mistake to interpret lack of public discussion of many sexual issues in the Middle East as indicative of a lack of problems. Rather, the silence only reflects the strength of taboo.
Female genital mutilation has been a top priority for United Nations agencies and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) for almost three decades. As early as 1952, the U.N. Commission on Human Rights adopted a resolution condemning the practice.[6] International momentum against the practice built when, in 1958, the Economic and Social Council invited the World Health Organization to study the persistence of customs subjecting girls to ritual operations.[7] They repeated their call three years later.[8] The 1979 Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women denounced the practice,[9] and the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child identified female genital mutilation as a harmful traditional practice.[10] According to the Demographic and Health Surveys Program, a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development to assist in undertaking medical and reproductive health surveys, FGM affects 130 million women in twenty-eight African countries.[11] Rather than diminishing as countries modernize, FGM is expanding.[12]
Anthropologists and activists identify three main types of FGM. Pharaonic circumcision refers to the removal of the entire clitoris; the labia minora and medial part of the labia majora are cut with both sides of the organ stitched together to leave only a small opening. Clitorectomy requires the removal of the entire clitoris along with part of the labia minora. Sunna circumcision, the most common form in the Islamic world, requires removal of the prepuce of the clitoris.
Genital Mutilation: An African Phenomenon?
Many experts hold that female genital mutilation is an African practice. Nearly half of the FGM cases represented in official statistics occur in Egypt and Ethiopia; Sudan also records high prevalence of the practice.[13] True, Egypt is part of the African continent but, from a cultural, historical, and political perspective, Egypt has closer ties to the Arab Middle East than to sub-Saharan Africa. Egypt was a founding member of the Arab League, and Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser came to personify Arab nationalism between 1952 until his death in 1970. That FGM is so prevalent in Egypt should arouse suspicion about the practice elsewhere in the Arab world, especially given the low appreciation for women's rights in Arab societies. But most experts dismiss the connection of the practice with Islam. Instead, they explain the practice as rooted in poverty, lack of education, and superstition.
Few reports mention the existence of FGM elsewhere in the Middle East, except in passing. A UNICEF report on the issue, for example, focuses on Africa and makes only passing mention of "some communities on the Red Sea coast of Yemen." UNICEF then cites reports, but no evidence, that the practice also occurs to a limited degree in Jordan, Gaza, Oman, and Iraqi Kurdistan.[14] The German semigovernmental aid agency, the Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit, reports that FGM is prevalent in twenty-eight African countries but only among small communities "in a few Arab and Asian countries (e.g., Yemen, a few ethnic groups in Oman, Indonesia, and Malaysia).[15] Some scholars have asserted that the practice does not exist at all in those countries east of the Suez Canal.[16] Such assertions are wrong. FGM is a widespread practice in at least parts of these countries.[17]
Latest findings from northern Iraq suggest that FGM is practiced widely in regions outside Africa. Iraqi Kurdistan is an instructive case. Traditionally, Kurdish society is agrarian. A significant part of the population lives outside cities. Women face a double-burden: they are sometimes cut off from even the most basic public services and are subject to a complex of patriarchal rules. As a result, living conditions for women are poor. Many of the freedoms and rights introduced by political leaders in Iraqi Kurdistan after the establishment of the safe-haven in 1991 are, for many women, more theoretical than actual.
In early 2003, WADI, a German-Austrian NGO focusing on women's issues,[18] started to work with mobile teams to take medical aid and social support to women in peripheral Kurdish areas such as in the Garmian region of Iraqi Kurdistan. These all-female teams consisting of a physician, a nurse, and a social worker built trust and opened doors in local communities otherwise sealed against outsiders. After more than a year of working in the area, women began to speak about FGM. Kurds in the area practice Sunna circumcision. Midwives often perform the operation with unsterilized instruments or even broken glass and without anesthesia on girls four to twelve years old. The extent of mutilation depends on the experience of the midwife and the luck of the girl. The wound is then treated with ash or mud with the girls then forced to sit in a bucket of iced water. Many Kurdish girls die, and others suffer chronic pain, infection, and infertility. Many say they suffer symptoms consistent with posttraumatic stress disorder syndrome.[19]
Subsequent research found that 907 out of 1,544 women questioned had undergone genital circumcision, a cutting rate of nearly 60 percent.[20] Follow-up research in the Irbil and Kirkuk governorates suggests rates of FGM consistent with those in Garmian. Nearly every woman questioned declared FGM to be a "normal" practice. Most women referred to the practice as both a tradition and a religious obligation. When asked why they subject their daughters to the operation, many women respond "it has always been like that." Because the clitoris is considered to be "dirty" (haram, the connotation is forbidden by religion), women fear that they cannot find husbands for their daughters if they have not been mutilated; many believe men prefer sex with a mutilated wife. Others stress the religious necessity of FGM even though Islamic law is unclear with regard to FGM. While Western scholars may dismiss the religious roots of the practice, what counts is that many Islamic clerics in northern Iraq advise women to practice FGM. Should a woman consider abandoning the practice, she must be aware that she could appear as disreputable in the public eye.[21] Men usually avoid offering a clear statement about whether FGM is a good practice; rather, they refer to FGM as a female practice in which men should not interfere. None of the men said he had ever discussed the question with his wife.[22]
The reaction of locals to the findings has been instructive. When confronted with the study results, only a few women's activists in the Iraqi Kurdish city of Sulaimaniya expressed surprise although most said they did not realize just how high a proportion of women was affected.[23] While a local researcher and women's rights activist Ronak Faraj had published a study on female circumcision in Sulaimaniya in 2004,[24] the fact that an international NGO had become aware of the problem bolstered public attention. While many Kurdish authorities were at first reluctant to address the issue for fear that the Kurdish region might appear backward, they now acknowledge the problem and are working to confront it with both an awareness campaign and with legislation.[25] But some members of influential Islamic and Arabic organizations in the diaspora scandalized the findings, accusing WADI of trying to insult Islam and spread anti-Islamic propaganda. Tarafa Baghajati and Omar al-Rawi, both members of the Initiative of Muslim Austrians, called the data part of an "Islamophobic campaign" and declared no FGM exists in Iraq.[26] That Islamic and Arabic organizations in Austria, for example, make such arguments is indicative of the problem affecting FGM data: these groups believe that if there are no such anti-FGM campaigns or studies, then they can bypass an embarrassing problem.
Such campaigns take time. In Egypt, anti-FGM education campaigns inaugurated in the mid-1990s are only now bearing fruit.[27] The idea that rooted practices cannot be changed is false. For centuries, foot-binding crippled Chinese women. An anti-foot-binding society formed only in 1874, but the activists were successful in scaling back and, eventually, eliminating the practice.[28] In Western societies, too, open public discourse on sexuality became possible only by persistent struggle in the face of stark opposition. The heated reactions to the 1948 Kinsey Report—and the portion concerning female sexuality published in 1953—are a case in point.[29]
How Widespread Is Female Genital Mutilation?
The discovery of widespread FGM in Iraqi Kurdistan suggests the assumption to be incorrect that FGM is primarily an African phenomenon with only marginal occurrence in the eastern Islamic world. If FGM is practiced at a rate of nearly 60 percent by Iraqi Kurds, then how prevalent is the practice in neighboring Syria where living conditions and cultural and religious practices are comparable? According to Fran Hosken, late founder of the Women's International Network News and author of groundbreaking research on FGM in 1975, "There is little doubt that similar practices—excision, child marriage, and putting rock salt into the vagina of women after childbirth—exist in other parts of the Arabian Peninsula and around the Persian Gulf." [30] That no firsthand medical records are available for Saudi Arabia or from any other countries in that region does not mean that these areas are free of FGM, only that the societies are not free enough to permit formal study of societal problems. That diplomats and international aid workers do not detect FGM in other societies also should not suggest that the problem does not exist. After all, FGM was prevalent in Iraqi Kurdistan for years but went undetected by the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and many other international NGOs in the region. Perhaps the most important factor enabling an NGO to uncover FGM in Iraqi Kurdistan was the existence of civil society structures and popular demand for individual rights. Such conditions simply do not exist in Syria, Saudi Arabia, or even the West Bank and Gaza where local authorities fight to constrain individual freedoms rather than promote them.
But the problem is not only that autocratic regimes tend to suppress the truth. There also must be someone in place to conduct surveys. Prior to Iraq's liberation, it was impossible to undertake independent surveys on issues such as malnutrition and infant mortality. Saddam Hussein's regime preferred to supply data to the U.N. rather than to enable others to collect their own data which might not support the conclusions the Baathist regime desired to show. The oft-cited 1999 UNICEF study claiming that U.N. sanctions had led to the deaths of 500,000 children was based on figures supplied by Saddam's regime, not an independent survey.[31] The U.N. undertook its first reliable statistical research on the living conditions in Iraq only after liberation.[32] Syrian, Saudi, and Iranian authorities simply do not let NGOs operate without restriction, especially when they deal with sensitive social issues.
Taboo—not social but political—is another factor undercutting research on FGM in Arab countries. Many academics and NGO workers in the region find it objectionable to criticize the predominant Muslim or Arab cultures. They will bend over backwards to avoid the argument that FGM is rooted in Arab or Muslim cultures even though no one argues that FGM is exclusively an Arab or Muslim problem. Statistical data from African countries indicate no clear relationship between FGM and a specific religion.[33] Still, this does not mean that the causes of FGM do not vary across regions and that religion has no influence. As California State University anthropologist Ellen Gruenbaum has explained, "People have different and multiple reasons [for FGM] ... For some it is a rite of passage. For others it is not. Some consider it aesthetically pleasing. For others, it is mostly related to morality or sexuality."[34] Hanny Lightfoot-Klein, an internationally known expert on FGM who spent years in Kenya, Egypt, and Sudan, explains that "it is believed in the Sudan that the clitoris will grow to the length of a goose's neck until it dangles between the legs, in rivalry with the male's penis, if it is not cut."[35]
Most studies speak of "justifications"[36] and "rationalizations"[37] for FGM but do not speak of causes since this could implicate Islamic rules relating to women and sexual morality. Islam is regarded as a wrong "justification," often with a citation that the Qur'an does not require FGM. That many women in northern Iraq—and presumably many women in Egypt—believe that the practice is rooted in religion is a factor ignored by Western universities and international organizations.
Islamic Scholars on Female Genital Mutilation
Islamic scholars disagree on FGM: some say no obligatory rules exist while others refer to the mention of female circumcision in the Hadith. According to Sami A. Aldeeb Abu Sahlieh, a Palestinian-Swiss specialist in Islamic law:
The most often mentioned narration reports a debate between Muhammed and Um Habibah (or Um 'Atiyyah). This woman, known as an exciser of female slaves, was one of a group of women who had immigrated with Muhammed. Having seen her, Muhammad asked her if she kept practicing her profession. She answered affirmatively, adding: "unless it is forbidden, and you order me to stop doing it." Muhammed replied: "Yes, it is allowed. Come closer so I can teach you: if you cut, do not overdo it, because it brings more radiance to the face, and it is more pleasant for the husband."[38]
Abu Sahlieh further cited Muhammad as saying, "Circumcision is a sunna (tradition) for the men and makruma (honorable deed) for the women."[39]
While some clerics say circumcision is not obligatory for women, others say it is. "Islam condones the sunna circumcision ... What is forbidden in Islam is the pharaonic circumcision,"[40] one religious leader explained. Others, such as the late rector of Al-Azhar University, Sheikh Gad al-Haq, said that since the Prophet did not ban female circumcision, it was permissible and, at the very least, could not be banned.[41]
In short, some clerics condemn FGM as an archaic practice, some accept it, and still others believe it to be obligatory. It is the job of clerics to interpret religious literature; it is not the job of FGM researchers and activists. There is a certain tendency to confuse a liberal interpretation of Islam with the reality women face in many predominately Islamic regions. To counter FGM as a practice, it is necessary to accept that Islam is more than just a written text. It is not the book that cuts the clitoris, but its interpretations aid and abet the mutilation.
Conclusions
There are indications that FGM might be a phenomenon of epidemic proportions in the Arab Middle East. Hosken, for instance, notes that traditionally all women in the Persian Gulf region were mutilated.[42] Arab governments refuse to address the problem. They prefer to believe that lack of statistics will enable international organizations to conclude that the problem does not exist in their jurisdictions. It is not enough to consult Islamic clerics to learn about the mutilation of girls in Islamic societies—that is like asking the cook if the guests like the meal. U.N. agencies operating in the region ignore FGM statistics saying they have no applicable mandate to gather such data. Hosken describes it as a cartel of silence: men from countries were FGM is practiced "enjoy much influence at the U.N."[43] and show no interest in tackling pressing social problems.
To tackle the problem, Western countries and human rights organizations need to continue to break down the wall of silence and autocracy that blights the Arab Middle East and better promote the notion of individual rights. They should withhold conclusions about the breadth of FGM and, for that matter, other social problems or political attitudes until they can conduct independent field research.
Thomas von der Osten-Sacken and Thomas Uwer are, respectively, managing director and board member of WADI.
Update from June 17, 2010: In this fresh study by Human Rights watch, which examines FGM in Kurdistan, the striking and disturbing thing is the extent to which Kurdish authorities have gone to minimize the problem and to ridicule the report's conclusion. This is a repeated feature of official responses to this and other problems across the region, where fear of embarrassment before world opinion carries greater weight than the damage done to women, young girls, and babies. -- The Editors
Update from February 4, 2016: The New York Times reports on a "new global assessment [that] documents for the first time that [FGM] is widespread in one of the most populous countries in Asia: Indonesia." This underscores that authors' claim that lack of reporting on the problem in a given country is not evidence that it doesn't exist.

Believe it or not, members of Islam even practice this abominable anti-female practice in the USA, and use Muslim doctors to carry it out, see proof as follows:
(quote)  Michigan doctor, wife arrested for allegedly conspiring to perform female genital mutilation
By Brooke Singman, Published April 21, 2017,  FoxNews.com

A Michigan doctor and his wife were arrested and charged Friday morning for allegedly conspiring to perform female genital mutilation on minors, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
The Attars allegedly arranged and assisted Nagarwala in performing FGM out of a medical clinic that Dr. Attar owns in Livonia, Mich. Attar's wife works at the clinic as office manager. The three are believed to be the first people charged under a federal law that criminalizes female genital mutilation (FGM).
According to the criminal complaint, some of Attar’s victims, ranging from ages 6 to 8, are believed to have traveled interstate to have the procedure performed.
Female genital mutilation is prevalent in some majority Muslim countries and is sometimes called “cleansing” by its practitioners. It involves the partial or total removal of the external female genitalia, often performed without anesthesia. It is designed to ensure females remain virgins until marriage.
According to a 2013 census by the Population Reference Bureau, approximately 500,000 women and girls in the United States have undergone the procedure or are at risk of the procedure.
In 2015, the issue of female genital mutilation received a wave of attention after Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt made a personal pledge of $100,000 to stop the brutal practice, after meeting Ayaan Hirsi Ali, an internationally known women’s rights advocate who suffered the barbaric practice at the age of 5.
“I don’t see how anyone who believes in the rule of law and the rights of women could do anything other than support efforts to end female-genital mutilation, forced marriage and honor-killings [[All involved in this are members of Islam]] -- practices that have no place in the 21st century,” Schmidt said in 2015.
Attar and his wife were scheduled to appear in Detroit federal court Friday afternoon.   [sourc - retrieved from   http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/04/21/michigan-doctor-wife-arrested-for-allegedly-conspiring-to-perform-female-genital-mutilation.html  on  4/21  /2017] (quote)

Female Genital Mutilation "An Obligation" According to Iraqi Muslim Cleric
by Irfan Al-Alawi
August 18, 2011 at 4:00 am
http://www.hudson-ny.org/2360/female-genital-mutilation-iraq
In June, the parliament of Iraq's autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) adopted a ban on domestic violence, including female genital mutilation (FGM), a "procedure" that is widespread among Iraqi Kurds. The law will come into effect once it is signed by KRG president Mesud Barzani, who represents the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
But a local cleric, Ismail Sussai, in the major Iraqi Kurdish city of Arbil, has delivered a televised sermon in which he described FGM as "obligatory," called on fathers to kill themselves, on pain of losing their "honor," if they are legally prevented from abusing their daughters for using mobile phones; and he defended the beating of wives and children.
The Kurdish cleric was particularly offended by use of mobile phones among girls, as well as by suggestions that the beating of women and children should be legislatively curbed, along with the FGM that was inflicted on the mothers and grandmothers of present-day Iraqi Kurdish leaders, and is still suffered by a majority of Kurdish girls.
He went on to threaten political opposition to the KRG if Barzani signs the law against domestic violence and FGM.
Sussai's diatribe included the claim that sanctions against FGM were forced on the Iraqi Kurds by a conference of "Jews" in the Chinese capital of Beijing -- a bizarre charge that is apparently based in the condemnation of FGM by the Fourth World Conference on Women hosted by the United Nations in Beijing in 1995.
Sussai based his argument for FGM on support for it by the Shafi'i school of Islamic jurisprudence, one of four Sunni schools. While Shafi'i legalists have declared FGM obligatory, its imposition on girls has not been uniform. Shafi'i jurisprudence is widely adhered to in Muslim communities in East Africa, as well as in Egypt and Indonesia, with additional enclaves of support in the other Arab lands, the Indian ocean, and Southeast Asia. But FGM is rare in large areas of the Muslim geographical region that recognizes Shafi'i religious law.
FGM is a pre-Islamic practice that appears to have been assimilated into Shafi'i jurisprudence through adoption of local customs. It is more common among Black Africans of differing religious affiliation, as well as Arabs in diverse areas of Saudi Arabia and its neighbours, including Egypt. Immigrants from both parts of the globe have introduced FGM into Europe and the U.S., where it is banned. Parents who insist on it may send their daughters back to their homelands for infliction of FGM, but in doing so violate the law.
Along with many Western countries, Indonesia and Egypt have prohibited FGM, although some extremist clerics in both countries emphasize their support for it in the style of the Kurdish Ismail Sussai.
FGM is unknown in the Muslim Balkans, rare in Turkey and Central Asia, and absent from India and Bangladesh. The custom is controversial and despised by most of the Islamic global community. Even the radical cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who is influential in Egypt, has averred that while he supports the practice in a "moderate" Islamic way "indicated" in some of the hadiths (oral commentaries) of Prophet Muhammad, "such hadiths are not confirmed to be authentic."
Muslims should work to end FGM, so-called "honour" murders, beatings, and other abuses imposed on women and children under cover of religion. With all its many problems, the intentions of Barzani's Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), which has a secular history, and of the Kurdistan Regional Government, are correct in banning these practices.
President Barzani should sign and enforce the law against domestic violence, including its anti-FGM components, and disregard the retrograde harangues of extremist clerics like Ismail Sussai.
But members of the Shafi'i school and non-Shafi'i Muslim clerics must also recognize a duty to unambiguously repudiate "Islamic" pretexts for FGM and other family crimes.

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.  9  By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:  10  For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.   Hebrews 11:8 – 10,  [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Abraham put faith in God’s word to him given at Genesis 12:2, “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:”  As Abraham said at Genesis 23:4 - 6, [AV] “I am a stranger and a sojourner with you: give me a possession of a buryingplace with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.  5  And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him,  6  Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.”  Yes, Abraham had faith in Almighty God’S (YHWH’s) given to him at Genesis 17:6, [AV] “And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.”

[2]   Child Sexual Molestation's - Two Religious Groups Different Take On The Problem:

All religious groups, counterfeit and genuine, are faced with clergy and members who are gross sinners, pedophiles. How they deal with them shows their concern for Biblical principles:

Consider two very different groups: Catholic and Jehovah's Witnesses:

Catholic Problem from News Media:

An article, "Scandal leaves gay priest bracing forinquisition," by Larry B. Stammer of the Los Angeles Times which said between 20 and 50 percent were either pedophiles or homosexuals,
"No one knows how many of the nation's 46,000 Catholic priests are homosexuals. At minimum, 20 percent of priests are believed to be homosexually oriented, according to the Rev. Donald Cozzens, author of the 'The Changing Face of the Priesthood.' Others say the number could be as high as 50 percent. Former priest and researcher H.W. Richard Sipe predicts that by 2010, homosexuals could well constitute a majority of Catholic priest." Whereas, Fritzie Green, Spokesperson for Singles, in her column 'Getting Personal,' in the Week Day newspaper, of June 7-13, Page 20, www.weekdaynewspaper.com, stated, "One scary aspect is now knowing how many of the nation's 46,000 Catholic priests are homosexuals. Consensus is from 20 to 50 percent could well constitute a majority of Catholic priests. On one hand, unbelievable, but on the other--are we surprised?"

Catholic Church Reaction:

Will the Catholic church really reform? Not very likely as shown by The New York Times in an Internet post. "American Bishops Allow Abusive Clergy to Remain in Priesthood Catholic bishops at a conference in Dallas today adopted a policy that will allow sexually abusive clergy to remain in the priesthood, but will bar them from having face-to-face contact with parishioners. Should this come as a surprise, not really, see, an article, "Scandal leaves gay priest bracing forinquisition," by Larry B. They only took the present half hearted measure of something significantly less than "0" tolerance when forced to do so by the news media; whereas, they should have thrown the bums out the minute they were discovered so not one more child would suffer damage. The Bible is clear on the subject, "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, "And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:" Romans 1:20-31 is clearly correct with respect deviant sex. The Catholic church surely was not ignorant of this scripture, but obviously choose to ignore it. This makes them all the more guilty in the sight of God for permitting his law to be broken especially when they deceitfully put themselves forth as his approved religious group on earth, and obviously false claim as recent events have clearly shown beyond doubt.

Jehovah's Witnesses Reaction:

The headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses, instead of vacillating on this issue as the Pope had done and the Cardinals and Bishops, quickly took a strong stand against child molestation. They immediately sent a strong letter to all their congregations throughout the world telling members to immediately report all molestation's to the authorities, but did not leave the matter there. They posted copies of all articles they had written on how to protect children against this on their web site for all to see and know the official stance on this issue and all other issues involving gross sin. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.   Matthew 24:9, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

This scripture is speaking about conditions that will exist at the conclusion of the end times, and additional information is given at Matthew 10:17, [AV] “But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;” showing a terrible time for Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) faithful followers done under the control of Satan the Devil.  This time is shortly at hand, and will be followed by God’s Kingdom that Jesus (Yeshua) showed we should pray for at Matthew 6:9 – 10, [AV] “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

[2]       Discourse Against Deviant Sex Acts and Need For Repentance:

INTRODUCTION AND DATA ON REPENTANCE:

An individual once stated, "There is a difference between a burdened sinner who is seeking deliverance, and a willful, unburdened sinner, who does not want forgiveness. One who tries to justify his actions. Just like Pilgrims progress, Christian did not receive a burden till he started reading the scriptures. His neighbors in the city of destruction did not have burdens...I don't know if any of you are familiar with that story". This point is truly brought home when we consider what repentance means, a change of thinking. In other words, one can change his life and be forgiven, but one can not continue to willfully lead a sinful life and expect to be forgiven. Let's look in more detail at repent--"to Change the Mind":

The word metanoeo, expresses the true New Testament idea of the spiritual change implied in a sinner's return to God. The term signifies "to have another mind," to change the opinion or purpose with regard to sin. It is equivalent to the Old Testament word "turn." Thus, it is employed by John the Baptist, Jesus, and the apostles (Matthew 3:2; Mark 1:15; Acts 2:38). The idea expressed by the word is intimately associated with different aspects of spiritual transformation and of Christian life, with the process in which the agency of man is prominent, as faith (Acts 20:21), and as conversion (Acts 3:19); also with those experiences and blessings of which God alone is the author, as remission and forgiveness of sin (Luke 24:47; Acts 5:31). It is sometimes conjoined with baptism, which as an overt public act proclaims a changed relation to sin and God (Mark 1:4; Luke 3:3; Acts 13:24; 19:4). As a vital experience, repentance is to manifest its reality by producing good fruits appropriate to the new spiritual life (Matthew 3:8). [source = International Encyclopedia of the Bible]Now let's examine what the scriptures say on the subject of deviant sex in brief:

DEVIANT SEX CONDEMNED BY THE WORD OF GOD:

God will punish those who practice illicit sexual relationships is made very clear by his actions in the past as shown by his destruction of the inhabitants of ancient Sodom for the practice of male with male and female with female which now is also known as Sodomy due to the well known sinful practice of sodomy among the inhabitants of ancient Sodom. Their sinful practice of sodomy was so salient that Moses wrote at Genesis 14:13 under God's inspiration, "...the inhabitants of Sodom were very wicked in the sins they committed against the Lord." (New American Bible, , St. Joseph Edition (Catholic Book Publishing Company); NAB). Their evil practice of sodomy was so flagrant they even tried to have sodomy relationships with materialized angles of God as recorded at Genesis 19:1-7, "The two Angles reached Sodom in the evening...Before they went to bed, all the townsmen of Sodom, closed in on the house. They called to Lot and said to him, 'Where are the men who came to your house tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have intimacies with them.'" (NAB). Because of their wicked action God destroyed the Sodomites as recorded at Genesis 19:24, "Then the Lord rained upon Sodom...brimstone and fire...out of heaven;" (Authorized King James Bible; AV).

In fact, God so detested the practice of sodomy he not only destroyed Sodom, but caused several Bible writers to specifically warn his followers against this practice. Moses wrote under inspiration at Leviticus 18:22. "You shall not lie with a male as with a women; such A thing is an abomination." (NAB), and the Apostle Paul wrote at I Timothy 1:9-10, "...for persons lawless and unruly,...fornicators, men who lie with males...and whatever other thing is in opposition to the healthful teaching." (New World Translation; NWT). Also, Hebrews 13:4 plainly shows that all illicit sex practices are condemned by God as follows, "...but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge," (AV).

Therefore let no one deceive you--illicit sexual practices brings God's disfavor as shown by many passages in God's written work, the Holy Scriptures. This point is made clear at Romans 1:24-27, " Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up to vile affections. For even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one towards another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet." (NWB). Rightly, as stated in the Bible at Ecclesiastes 7:29, "Behold, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many devices." (The Revised Standard Version: RSV). These works or plans of the fallen flesh are clearly identified, and Corinthians 6:13 states, "...God will do away with them in the end--but the body is not for immorality; it is for the lord...." (NAB). In addition, I Corinthians 6:18 warns all wishing to win God's favor to, "Shun lewd conduct." (NAB), since this sin is within the body; whereas, "Every other sin a man commits is outside his body." (NAB). Also, I Corinthians 7:2 warns us to avoid illicit sexual relations in the following words, "But to avoid immorality...." (NAB). The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Colossians warned at Colossians 3:5, "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence..." (AV).

LIVES MUST BE BROUGHT IN HARMONY WITH GOD'S (YHWH'S) WORD:

Let's see what the Bible has to say with regard turning our life around.

First consider:

"This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." (Ephesians 4:17-24 AV) which clearly shows we must strip off the old personality with its works of uncleanness and greed. This would include depraved sexual lust, God dishonoring false dogma, greed, hate of fellow man, hedonism, lasciviousness, etc.

Now consider:

" For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:" (1 Peter 4:3 AV) which just reinforces what was said in Ephesians, clearly showing we must turn our lives around and STOP walking in "lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries [these would include belief in false dogma, practices and traditions including hero worship]:"

Likewise:

" Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:" (Colossiams 3:5-10 Av). This scripture once more clearly shows we must STOP practicing "fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:" Therefore we can see for true repentance, we must cease and decease from practices that are NOT approved by God (YHWH).

TRUE REPENTANCE REQUIRED WHEN ONE TURNS TO GOD:

Clearly the Bible shows true repentance required when one turns to God; let's review a pertinent scripture on this subject:

" But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance." (Acts 26:20 AV). Ah, here we see, we must do works that "meet for repentance." What could some of these works be? Well some of these words would be ceasing to do the things one previously did that go against his laws and principles and that bring dishonor to him. What are some of these? Well as previously shown, these would be such things as lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries [these would include belief in false dogma, practices and traditions including hero worship], of course it would not be limited to simply not doing these wrongs, but would require effort to counteract the effects of your previous wrongs such as exposing false dogma, starting to love your fellow man, and ceasing to live a hedonistic life style and warning others against such things as deviant sex, illegal drug use, and other debasing things.

Remember:

" The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9 AV). This should clearly behoove us to turn our life around. It should be clear that Almighty God (YHWH) takes no delight in those who refuse to do so. This is made clear, "11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. 13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. 14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; 15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. 16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live." (Ezekial 33:11-16 AV).

In fact:

" I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance." (Luke 15:7 AV), clearly shows that God (YHWH) and his Son, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) are made joyful by sinners who truly repent.

CHRISTIAN TEACHING EMPHASIS REPENTANCE:

At " And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." (Matthew 24:14 AV) Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) gave the command to his true followers to witness to the nations and this is clearly emphasized as follows:

"Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." (Mark 1:14-15 AV). Therefore, for true repentance acceptable to God (YHWH) and his Son, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) to take place action on our part to make the word of God (YHWH) know to others is required.

In fact, this is so important that repentance can only take place:

" And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:47 AV)

This truth is further highlighted as:

"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." (Acts 17:30 AV). From this we can see ignorance will no longer be tolerated clearly showing ignorance of God (YHWH) dishonoring dogma and of his laws and principles will no longer be tolerated by God (YHWH) or by his Son, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves). Therefore, it is truly important, as shown by this scripture to turn our life around.

Also, true repentance requires faith:

"And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." (Acts 20:21 AV) clearly that our leader, Christ Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) the only " For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" (1 Timothy 2:5 AV) " taught publickly and from house to house"; therefore it is clear we to should "Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."

Last, but not Least:

" And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:47 AV); which is in complete harmony with the commission Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) put on ALL his genuine followers as follows, " And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." (Matthew 24:14 AV)

WHAT HAPPENS IF IN A MOMENT OF WEAKNESS WE COMMIT A SIN?:

First we must remember our savior Jesus Christ (Yeshua or YHWH saves) is compassionate in carrying out his assignment given to him by his Father (YHWH), "19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all." (1 Corinthians 15:19-28 AV).

" My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:" (1 John 2:1 AV); clearly shows we have an "advocate with the Father" who will assist those genuinely trying to live their lives in harmony with God's (YHWH's) will so we should fear not in these cases.

This compassionate nature of our savior Jesus Christ (Yeshua or YHWH saves) is made even clearer by:

"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." (Galations 6:1-2 AV). As can be seen from this scripture that if one inadvertently takes a false step we are under obligation to "ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." This would be of no purpose if the errant one's mistake could not be corrected.

Therefore, because we are all sinners, in order to merit the mercy and compassion of our leader Jesus Christ (Yeshua or YHWH saves) we must:

" Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." (Revelation 2:5 AV), thus true repentance is the key to our savior extending his love and mercy to us.

NOW, WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR MERCY?:

First, we must confess our sins and wrong beliefs to God (YHWH) through his Son and only mediator between God and man, and not to some false mediator or go between such as a priest, statue of a saint or the Virgin Mary, etc.

" He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13 AV)

And:

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:9 AV).

And:

" I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah." (Psalms 32:5 AV)

So we can see from the above scriptures, it is necessary to confess our sins to God (YHWH) through his Son and only mediator between God and man, and not to some false mediator or go between such as a priest, statue of a saint or the Virgin Mary, etc.

HOWEVER, NO REPENTENCE IS POSSIBLE FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ACCEPT GOD'S MERCY AND THEN RETURN TO A WILLFUL PRACTICE OF DISBELIEF AND SIN:

It is clearly shown that it is impossible for those who once enlightened willfully return like " But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." (2 Peter 2:22 AV) to gain the benefits of repentance, or in other words, once saved is not always saved:

"For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:" (Hebrews 6:4-11 AV)

And:

"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." (Hebrews 10:26-31 AV)

And:

"For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:" (2 Peter 2:20-22 AV).

As can clearly be seen, as stated at the beginning of this section "it is impossible for those who once enlightened willfully return like " But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." (2 Peter 2:22 AV) to gain the benefits of repentance, or in other words, once saved is not always saved:"

MERCY AND COMPASION LIKE THE MERCY AND COMPASSION OF OUR SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST IS REQUIRED OF US:

Just as Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) extends mercy and compassion to us, we must also extend it to others:

"Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
3 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him." (Luke 17:3-4 AV)

And:

"For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15 AV)

Which clearly shows that if we are genuine followers of our leader and savior Jesus Christ (Yeshua or YHWH saves) we must be like him and extends mercy and compassion to others.

LAST, WHAT IS THE INDICATION OF TRUE REPENTANCE?:

Clearly we must first:

" If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14 AV)

We must turn back from our former wrong course of action and false belief:

"When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live." (Ezekial 33:13-16 AV)

And:

"Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?" (Ezekial 18:30-31 AV)

This need to turn your life around and repent is once more emphasized in the New Testament:

" Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;" (Acts 3:19 AV)

Last, but not least, remember we must confess our transgressions to God (YHWH) in prayer through his Son, Jesus (Yeshua or YHWH saves) who is the only " For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" (1 Timothy 2:5 AV), and as his assignment from his Father (YHWH) mediates towards us " But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises." (Hebrews 8:6 AV):

" He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13 AV)

SAME SEX SEXUAL ACTS ALWAYS DEVIANT SEX:

I think it's important to distinguish between "homosexuality" and same-sex ACTS. The Bible does not really address the former (which is a term invented by a 19th century German pyschologist), but it definitely deals with the latter. To use an analogy, the Bible doesn't mention "kleptomania" (a psychological condition) but it does prohibit the act of theft. Likewise it prohibits same-sex in both the new and the old testament with the first prohibition being recorded in approximately 1513 B.C.E. over 3,500 years ago, for details go to Leviticus and read the 18th. Chapter. In the new testament go to Romans the 1st, Chapter.

Given the above, the question of whether or not certain individuals are born with a genetic tendency to homosexuality or homosexual behavior is irrelevant from a Biblical standpoint. According to the Scriptures, all of us are born with an inclination to practice immorality of one kind or another. (cf. Gen. 6:5) This does not excuse the behavior, of course, anymore than a person giving into the temptation to rob a bank. People are responsible for their behavior.

Pro-gay advocates often use the argument that the Bible doesn't address homosexuality. While that is true, strictly speaking, it's a red herring in relation to the Bible's stance on same-sex intercourse.

NO JUSTIFICATION FOR DEVIANT SEX ACTS:

No matter how one tries to justify or excuse ANY form of deviant sex, i.e., adultery, fornication, sodomy, bestiality, pedophilism, etc., The Bible shows it as just plain wrong. There is no excuse for any of it any more than there is for murder or genocide. Let's look at a few scriptures, all from the American Standard Version, on the subject:

Matthew 5:28:
but I say unto you, that every one that looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Romans 1:27:
and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due.

1 Corinthians 10:6:
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Galatians 5:6:
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Phesians 2:3:
among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:--

1 Timothy 4:5:
not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who know not God;

James 1:14:
but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.

James 1:15:
Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin, when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death.

1 Peter 2:11:
Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lust, which war against the soul;

2 Peter 1:4:
whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust.

2 Peter 2:20:
but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement, and despise dominion. Daring, self-willed, they tremble not to rail at dignities:

1 John 2:6:
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1 John 2:17:
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Now those who disagree with these scriptures are usurping God's (YHWH's) rightful place with respect what is right and what is wrong.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  Hebrews 11:1,  [authorized King James Bible; AV]

We must have faith to win Almighty God’S (YHWH’s) approval as clearly shown by the examples given at Hebrews 11:4 – 6, [AV] “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.  6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”  And as Hebrews 10:22, [AV], says, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”

Re: Scripture of the Day

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 493A]

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,  Hebrews 12:1,  [authorized King James Bible; AV]

The weights we must lay aside are described at 1 Peter 2:1 - 3, [AV] “
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,  2  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:  3  If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.”  And we should take heed per Hebrews 3:12, [AV] “Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.”  We must per 1 Timothy 6:12, [AV] “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

[2]       THE UNSEEN SPIRIT FORCE BEHIND EVIL:

The next 3 items are extracts from media Internet sites.

Item 1, WASHINGTON, D.C. The national media should devote equal resources to covering the pedophilic murder of Jesse Dirkhising a 13-year-old Arkansas boy sadistically tortured to death by two homosexual men as they did to the murder of gay college student Matthew Shepard, Americans for Truth President Peter LaBarbera said today.

Item 2, All across America, gay newspapers and bars and organizations not only tolerate sadistic sex but promote it, LaBarbera said. In fact, on the very day of Dirkhising's death, two leading homosexual groups, the Human Rights Campaign and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, were manning booths at a sadistic sex fair in San Francisco that celebrated bondage, human floggings and the same S&M techniques that led to the death of young Jesse. We call on all homosexual organizations, bookstores and newspapers to stop promoting sexual violence consensual or otherwise.

Item 3, The manager of a major homosexual bookstore, Glad Day Bookshop in Boston, said he will not stop selling publications that promote adult-child sex, saying that Our policy is to sell everything that is available to the [gay] community.

What does the murder of Matthew Shepard, the murder of Jesse Dirkhising, and the manager of Glad Day Bookshop's action all have in common? One might say homosexuality and another might say Gays, but neither answer would really be correct; however, they are all related to one root cause, it is the unseen ruler of this world, Satan the Devil, " Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me." (John 14:30 AV); God will eliminate him in due time, " Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out." (John 12:31 AV). Therefore, what type of person should we be? Should we work hard to actively resist temptations to wrong/deviant behavior this invisible spirit is using to deceive men? Remember, " For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12 AV), and we should always instruct others in mildness, "And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." (2 Timothy 2:25-26 AV).

In reality the root cause of all of these actions is deception by the arch enemy of God using his four chief weapons against mankind: hate of fellow man, deviant sex, hedonism, and GREED.
These are the things we must all resist. We can all expect to be tempted by the Devil since he even tempted the son of God, Jesus when he was on earth as a man, "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him." Which clearly shows we will all be tempted and that is no sin; however, it becomes sin if and only if we give into temptation.

We should be loving our fellow man and looking out for his interest and not just our own, which is the opposite of being greedy, hateful of fellow man, etc. The Holy Bible plainly shows we should not judge our neighbors, but love them. This does not mean loving their sin. Matthew 7:1-2, states, "Stop judging that you may not be judged; for with what judgment you are judging, you will be judged," and Romans 14:4, 10-13, "Who are you to judge the house servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God can make him stand. But why do you judge your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God... Therefore let us not be judging one another any longer," this plainly shows no true Christian should be executing judgment on anyone with respect sin. In fact this would be a usurping of God's exclusive right, i.e., blaspheme, Matthew 25:31-32 states, "When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats."

Second, we should be loving our neighbors and attempting to get them to turn away from sin, not judging, hurting, or killing them in violation of God's law. Luke 10:27 states, "....You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 5:21-22 clearly states this devine principle, "....'You must not murder; but whoever commits a murder will be accountable to the court of justice.' However, I say to you that everyone who continues wrathful with his brother (neighbor) will be accountable to the court of justice; but whoever addresses his brother with an unspeakable word of contempt will be accountable to the Supreme Court (God's court, not the Supreme Court of the US); whereas whoever says, 'You despicable fool! will be liable to the fiery Gehenna. (often mistranslated as hell)."

Third, We should be helping our neighbor not harming him/her in one way or another. Now a question, why do many individuals seek to run others down or harm them when they are not endangering them? Please do a little Biblical research and see if you can uncover the root cause.

COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    Discourse on Sodomy Always Having Been Wrong:

[1]       SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 494A]

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths   Proverbs 3:5 – 6,  [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Remember Psalms 62:8, [AV] “The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.” Clearly shows his power and why we should not rest on our own understanding.  This is made even clearer at Proverbs 28:26, [AV] “He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.”

[2]        Discourse on Sodomy Always Having Been Wrong:

As another said, "Some want to live a lifestyle that is in blaten sin against God. No one can change their mind, except the Holy Spirit. Those who choose to live that lifestyle, will always refuse to hear the truth because they want to live in their sin. It has been that way ever since the fall of man in Eden." Which is a truth now playing out in this sinful world with respect to the modern sodomites that are bluntly displaying their ungodly ways by even wanting to "marry" their same sex sodomite partners in braking the law of God (YHWH). In the Bible, God (YHWH) gave into marriage Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, as these modern day sodomites want to have it. This fact, that a valid marriage before God (YHWH) is only a marriage of a man and a wife is clearly testified to at Genesis 2:22-24, "And Jehovah God buildeth up the rib which He hath taken out of the man into a woman, and bringeth her in unto the man; 23 and the man saith, `This [is] the [proper] step! bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh!' for this it is called Woman, for from a man hath this been taken; 24 therefore doth a man leave his father and his mother, and hath cleaved unto his wife, and they have become one flesh." (Young's Literal Translation; YLT). Clearly this scripture shows that a valid marriage as instituted by God (YHWH) is one between a man and a women and not between a man and a man or between a women or a women or for that matter anything else. This is clearly affirmed at Genesis 1:27-28, "And God prepareth the man in His image; in the image of God He prepared him, a male and a female He prepared them. 28 And God blesseth them, and God saith to them, `Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over fish of the sea, and over fowl of the heavens, and over every living thing that is creeping upon the earth.'" (YLT). Now, the Bible is clear throughout that a valid marriage before God (YHWH) is only one between a man and a women, so just what is it these sinful practicioners of Sodomy do not understand?

It should be clear that they are NOT recognizing the Bible as the only Standard given by God (YHWH) for what constitutes a valid marriage, but are resorting to the courts and legal trickery to work what is clearly obscene. As one person put it, "Truth is God's Word. If one refuses to except that, then fine. But remember this one thing. one day you will stand before YHWH at the Great White Throne Judgment. There you life will be exposed before the angels and heaven. The Word of God will be opened, and that will be your judge." This is clearly shown in the Bible at Romans 14:12, " so, then, each of us concerning himself shall give reckoning to God" (YLT). To practice the God (YHWH) forbidden practice of Sodomy is as Romans 3:23 states, "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;" (American Standard Version; ASV); and 1 John 5:17, "All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death." (ASV); but a willful and defiant open practice of ungodly acts will NOT go unpunished.

Clearly the modern day practitioners of the sin of Sodomy who now want to defile God's (YHWH) institution of marriage by their unconscionable act of marrying man to man and women to women that they per 1 John 5:19, are under the control of the god of this system of things, "we have known that of God we are, and the whole world in the evil doth lie; " (YTD) are under control of evil; and this is further shown at 2 Corinthians 4:4, ""in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn [upon them]. " (ASV). The Bible is clear on this as shown at All forms of illicit sexual relationships are clearly works of the flesh and the Apostle Paul said, at Galatians 6:18-19, "Now the work of the flesh are...adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness..." (Authorized King James Bible; AV). God does not view these unclean "works" of the flesh with pleasure no matter who may endorse them be he/she a high governmental officials such as is the case in the City of San Francisco or the State of Massachusetts. God (YHWH) however, looks with great displeasure on those who openly and willfully violating his law and purpose by marrying men to men and women to women which is not what God (YHWH) purposed. These works remain condemned by God as shown by the Apostle Paul at I Corinthians 6:9-10, "Know ye...the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God...be not deceived: neither fornicators,...nor adulteress, nor effeminate,...shall inherit the Kingdom of God." (AV). In fact is plainly recorded that God will judge all fornicators at Hebrews 13:4 which reads, "...God himself will judge those who traffic in the bodies of others or defile the relationship of marriage." (The New Testament in Modern English by J.B. Phillips; TNTMB).

The clear Biblical fact is God (YHWH) will punish those who practice illicit sexual relationships. This fact is made very clear by his actions in the past as shown by his destruction of the inhabitants of ancient Sodom for the practice of male with male and female with female which now is also known as Sodomy due to the well known sinful practice of sodomy among the inhabitants of ancient Sodom. Their evil practice of Sodomy was so flagrant they even tried to have Sodomy relationships with materialized angles of God as recorded at Genesis 19:1-7, "The two Angles reached Sodom in the evening...Before they went to bed, all the townsmen of Sodom,...closed in on the house. They called to Lot and said to him, 'Where are the men who came to your house tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have intimacies with them.'" (NAB). Because of their wicked action God destroyed the Sodomites as recorded at Genesis 19:24, "Then the Lord rained upon Sodom...brimstone and fire...out of heaven;" (AV).

This point is made clear at Romans 1:24-28, " Wherefore also God did give them up, in the desires of their hearts, to uncleanness, to dishonour their bodies among themselves; 25 who did change the truth of God into a falsehood, and did honour and serve the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed to the ages. Amen. 26 Because of this did God give them up to dishonourable affections, for even their females did change the natural use into that against nature; 27 and in like manner also the males having left the natural use of the female, did burn in their longing toward one another; males with males working shame, and the recompense of their error that was fit, in themselves receiving. 28 And, according as they did not approve of having God in knowledge, God gave them up to a disapproved mind, to do the things not seemly;" (YLT).

Some practitioners of Sodomy try and justify their God (YHWH) defying wrong actions by saying that the Bible does not even mention homosexuality, but overlook reality.

No matter how one tries to justify or excuse ANY form of deviant sex, i.e., adultery, fornication, sodomy, bestiality, pedophilism, etc., The Bible shows it as just plain wrong. There is no excuse for any of it any more than there is for murder or genocide. Let's look at a few scriptures on the subject:

Matthew 5:28: "but I say unto you, that every one that looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." (ASV)

1 Corinthians 10:6: "Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted." (ASV)

Galatians 5:6: "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." (ASV)

Ephesians 2:3: "among whom also we all did walk once in the desires of our flesh, doing the wishes of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath -- as also the others," (YLT)

1 Timothy 4:5: "not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who know not God;" (ASV)

James 1:14: "But every one is tempted, drawn away, and enticed by his own lust;" (The Darby Translation; TDT)

James 1:15: "Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin, when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death." (ASV)

1 Peter 2:11: "Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lust, which war against the soul;" (ASV)

1 Peter 1:4: "whereby he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust" (Hebrew Names Version of World English Bible)

2 Peter 2:20: "but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement, and despise dominion. Daring, self-willed, they tremble not to rail at dignities:" (ASV)

1 John 2:6: "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." (ASV)

1 John 2:17: "And the world is passing away, along with its desires. But whoever does God's will remains forever." (The Complete Jewish Bible , Published by Jewish New Testament Publications, Inc.)

Of course the sinful modern day practitioners of Sodomy will take issue with God's (YHWH's) word, but they are usurping God's (YHWH's) position with respect to what is right and what is wrong.

COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    John 16:13-15 - An Understanding

[1]       SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 495A]

Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.  Ecclesiastes 11:9,  [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes rejoice just as shown at Deuteronomy 16:11, [AV] “And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.”   Remember Job 31:7, [AV] “If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands;” but keep walking only in the way of the Lord.

[2]       John 16:13-15 - An Understanding

Let's look at John 16:13-15, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.." (AV), which clearly disproves the Trinity.   How so?   Let's reason on it, as I will never understand why it must follow that because the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is,  incorporates his qualities and attributes into his Son so that Christ may serve as his most outstanding representative in heaven and Earth for the benefit of humanity he therefore becomes the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is,  himself; whereas, the Bible clearly says Jesus (Yeshua) Christ is Colosians 1:15, "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:" (Authorized King James Bible; AV), a representation of his very being per Hebrews 1:3, "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" (AV), and as such, he fully reflects the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael's, creator of all there is, ethics, moral qualities and divinity in heaven. Thus he could most certainly respond to Philip's question at John 14:9, "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?" (AV).

COMBINATION OF [1]  THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND [2]    Judgment By God A Loving Act - Hate and  a Lust For Violence is Not:

[1]    SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 496A]

But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.  Romans 14:10, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Yes, we should not be judging our brothers in the faith and Luke 6:37, [AV], makes this clear, “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:’  Also, this is made clear by Romans 14:4, [AV] “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.”

We shall all know Almighty God (YHWH) as shown by Romans 14:11 – 12, [AV] “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.  12  So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”  And, this war foretold long before the modern era at Isaiah 45:23, [AV] “I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.”

[2]       Judgment By God A Loving Act - Hate and  a Lust For Violence is Not:

INTRODUCTION:

Many fail to draw the distinction between hate and a lust for violence by humans, and an act of judgment by the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is.    This article will show the difference.

For example, many fail to draw a distinction between wanton killing that Muslims routinely do such as 9/11, and judgments of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, who used the Israelites of old to execute for him.  These are two very different things as the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, has the absolute right to judge and have his pronouncements of judgement carried out and to maintain otherwise is to usurp his position.

Many apparently do not recognize what true 'agape' genuine (true) Christian love is so here is a little insight.   True love requires absolute justice and it is unloving to let the wicked continue to do wrong to the righteous and/or against the commandments of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is.  In other words, true love requires true justice - not justice as man sees it but as the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, sees it.

Also, It would be most unloving to see another doing things against his/her best interest and NOT lovingly warn him/her.   The loving thing to do is warn others which may require very direct and sometimes painful warnings.

ETYMOLOGY: Middle English jugement, from Old French, from jugier, to judge, from Latin idicre.

JUDGMENT BY THE TRUE GOD (YHWH) OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND ISHMAEL, CREATOR OF ALL THERE IS:

At different times in the past The true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael called peoples and nations to account for their actions and executed his judgments by bringing destruction. Such executional judgments were not arbitrary demonstrations of brute force or overwhelming power. In some instances the Hebrew word translated "judgment" (mish·pat') is also rendered "justice" per Ezra 7:10, "For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments. " (Authorized King James Bible; AV) and "what is right per Genesis 18:25, "That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" (AV).   The Bible emphasizes that The true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael "is a lover of righteousness and justice," so his executional judgments involve both of those qualities, per Psalms 33:5, "He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD."  (AV).

Often, the executional judgments came as a result of the wicked conduct of people in their daily lives. Sodom and Gomorrah are an example of this. The true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael inspected the cities and determined that the sin of the inhabitants was very heavy; he decided to bring the cities to ruin as recorded at Genesis 18:20-21, "And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
21  I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know." (AV) , which shows they were judged by the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, and found to be WICKED.    This is also emphasized at Genesis 19:14, "And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law." (AV).

Later the Apostle Jude wrote that those cities underwent 'judicial punishment' at Jude 7, "Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (AV) .

Also, The true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael conducted a legal case against ancient Babylon, which was a longtime enemy of God and his people.   Because of their having been unnecessarily cruel to the Jews and crediting Marduk [[Their false god.]] with the victory over the people of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is,  Babylon was in line for an executional judgment per Jeremiah 51:36, "Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry." (AV); and Isaiah 14:3-6, "And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
4 ¶  That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
5  The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
6  He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth." (AV).    That judgment came to Babylon in 539 B.C.E. when it was overthrown by the Medes and Persians whom the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, used as his instrument for executing his judgment on Babylon

Similarly, Jeremiah prophesied that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is,  would bring judgment against wicked Edom per Jeremiah 49:17-22, "Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.
18  As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.
19  Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
20  Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.
21  The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.
22  Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs." (AV).   Hence, Edom,  the nation that had shown hatred for the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael experienced destructive judgment in, Obadiah  15-16, "For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been." (AV)

When Judah and Jerusalem became unfaithful and merited God's disapproval, he promised to, Ezekiel 5:8,  "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations." (AV).    In 607 B.C.E. the day of The true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael's fury" came with an execution of his destructive judgment, per Ezekiel 7:19, "They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity." (AV).

CONCLUSION:

So we can see the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, passes judgment in righteousness and the instrument he uses to carry out his judgment is acting on his behalf.   Ancient Israel was frequently called on to act as the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, executioner of judgment, and as same, had to do what was necessary to carry out the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, judgment.

Therefore, the proposition put forth in the introduction, that many fail to draw a distinction between wanton killing that Muslims routinely do such as 9/11, and judgments of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, who used the Israelites of old to execute for him.  These are two very different things as the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, has the absolute right to judge and have his pronouncements of judgement carried out and to maintain otherwise is to usurp his position.    Clearly shows these individuals are NOT in line with the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is,
But need to bring their reasoning in line with that of the the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is.

Re: Scripture of the Day

COMBINATION OF THE SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY AND THE RARE FRUIT TREES AND VEGETABLES.   With the Scripture of the Day first.

[1]       SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY [VOL. 497A]

O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! 14  If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. 15  Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.  Job 14:13 – 15, [authorized King James Bible; AV]

Jesus (Yeshua) has been given authority to judge all that have died by his Father, Almighty God (YHWH), and this is testified to at John 5:27 – 30, [AV] “And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28  Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. 30  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”

[2]       Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the Garcinia gummi-gutta , garcomoa ca,bpgoa.is a tropical[2] species of Garcinia native to Indonesia. Common names include garcinia cambogia (a former scientific name), as well asbrindleberry,[3] Malabar tamarind,[2] and kudam puli (pot tamarind).[4] This fruitlooks like a small pumpkin and is green to pale yellow in color.

Although it has received considerable media attention purporting its effects onweight loss, no clinical evidence supports this claim.[5]

Cultivation
Garcinia gummi-gutta is grown for its fruit in Southeast Asia, coastalKarnataka/Kerala, India, and west and central Africa. It thrives in most moist forests.
G. gummi-gutta is one of several closely related Garcinia species from the plant family Clusiaceae.[6] With thin skin and deep vertical lobes, the fruit of G. gummi-gutta and related species range from about the size of an orange to that of a grapefruit; G. gummi-gutta looks more like a small yellowish, greenish, or sometimes reddish pumpkin.[7] The color can vary considerably. When the rinds are dried and cured in preparation for storage and extraction, they are dark brown or black in color.
Along the west coast of South India, G. gummi-gutta is popularly termed "Malabar tamarind", and shares culinary uses with the tamarind (Tamarindus indica). The latter is a small and the former a quite large evergreen tree. G. gummi-gutta is also called goraka or, in some areas, simply kattcha puli (souring fruit). It is calleduppage in Kannada language and fruits are collected and dried for selling to dealers in Sirsi, Karnataka.[8]

Uses

Cooking
G. gummi-gutta is used in cooking, including in the preparation of curries. The fruit rind and extracts of Garcinia species are called for in many traditional recipes,[9] and various species of Garcinia are used similarly in food preparation in Assam (India), Thailand, Malaysia, Burma, and other Southeast Asian countries. In the IndianAyurvedic medicine, "sour" flavors are said to activate digestion. The extract and rind of G. gummi-gutta is a curry condiment in India.[4][9][10][11] It is an essential souring ingredient in the southern Thai variant of kaeng som, a sour curry.[12][13]

G. gummi-gutta is used commercially in fish curing, especially in Sri Lanka and South India.

The trees can be found in forested areas and also are protected in plantations otherwise given over to pepper, spice, and coffee production.

Weight loss

In late 2012, a United States television personality, Dr. Oz, promoted garcinia cambogia extract as "an exciting breakthrough in natural weight loss"[14] Dr. Oz's previous endorsements have often led to a substantial increase in consumer interest in the promoted products. Scientific evidence is lacking and clinical trials do not support claims that garcinia cambogia is an effective weight-loss aid.[15][16][17][18]A meta-analysis of several clinical trials found no compelling evidence for short-term weight loss.[19] Further, side effects — namely hepatotoxicity (chemical-driven liver damage) — led to one preparation being withdrawn from the market.[20][21]
A 1998 randomized, controlled trial looked at the effects of hydroxycitric acid, the purported active component in G. gummi-gutta, as a potential antiobesity agent in 135 people. The conclusion from this trial was that garcinia cambogia failed to produce significant weight loss and fat mass loss beyond that observed with placebo.[22]
