Interestingly as Romans 2:14 – 15, says, due to an inborn conscious many abhor what is wrong who have no knowledge of Almighty God’s (YHWH’s) law do what is right. And as stated in Deuteronomy 26:19, [AV] “And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.” Psalms 147:20, [AV] “He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.”

More Errors in the Quran - Section 1
But first a statement by Quranic scholar, Syed Kamran Mirza.
Are these any better? Look, my whole point of this is that I am tired of hearing how EVERY OTHER religious book out there is "wrong and has lies but the Quran is perfect" I see that no one stepped up to defend some of the other things that I posted.....like this (these aren't errors, I'll get back to those in a minute):
1. "Do not let non-Muslims enter mosques. They will go to hell." ( Repentance: 17 )
2. "O ye who believe! The non-Muslims are unclean. So let them not come near the Inviolable Place of Worship." (Repentance: 2)
3. "O ye who believe! Murder those of the disbelievers .... and let them find harshness in you." (Repentance: 123)
4. "Humiliate the non-Muslims to such an extent that they surrender and pay tribute." (Repentance: 29)
5. "O believers, do not treat your fathers and brothers as your friends, if they prefer unbelief to belief, whosoever of you takes them for friends, they are evil-doers." (Repentance: 20)
6. "Certainly, God is an enemy to the unbelievers." ( The Cow: 90 )
7. "God has cursed the unbelievers, and prepared for them a blazing hell." ( The Confederates 60 )
8. "Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends.... whoso does that belongs not to God." (The House of Imram: 60)
9. "O believers, do not make friends with the Jews and Christians; ..whoso of you makes them his friend is one of them." (The Table: 55)
10. "The believers indeed are brothers." ( Apa rtments: 10 )
11. "Moslems are hard against the unbelievers, merciful to one another." (Victory: 25)

What are some of those about? You aren't a good muslim if you are friends with a christian? If that is the case, how am I suppose to trust what someone is saying to me if I don't believe in their religion? It's kind of hard to "follow" something when it's telling me to "murder those of the disbelivers"
Oh well, like I said at the beginning of this......are these any better? I know a couple of them are the same but it's from a different place.
Error in the Quran
This article was written in answer to a statement that the bible contains error whereas the Quran, the muslim holy book, does not.
It highlights ten of the more difficult to explain contradictions within the Quran and will hopefully help get some of our muslim friends thinking, if you are a muslim I invite you to explain these contradictions and assure you that your refutations will be made public if this is what you require.
Please note however that I will not accept simple statements such as "you are wrong" as fact, answers must be supported by either convincing evidence or at least by a logical argument.
1) The Samaritan that never was:
Surah 20:85-87 and Sura 20:95-97 state that the calf worshipped by the Israelites was made by a Samaritan but neither the country of Samaria (where Samaritans come from) nor the term Samaritan existed during this time (the time of the Exodus) and so it is historical fact that Moses could NOT have used the term or had any dealings with a Samaritan.

YUSUFALI: (Allah) said: "We have tested thy people in thy absence: the Samiri has led them astray."
PICKTHAL: He said: Lo! We have tried thy folk in thine absence, and As-Samiri hath misled them.
SHAKIR: He said: So surely We have tried your people after you, and the Samiri has led them astray.

YUSUFALI: So Moses returned to his people in a state of indignation and sorrow. He said: "O my people! did not your Lord make a handsome promise to you? Did then the promise seem to you long (in coming)? Or did ye desire that Wrath should descend from your Lord on you, and so ye broke your promise to me?"
PICKTHAL: Then Moses went back unto his folk, angry and sad. He said: O my people! Hath not your Lord promised you a fair promise? Did the time appointed then appear too long for you, or did ye wish that wrath from your Lord should come upon you, that ye broke tryst with me?
SHAKIR: So Musa returned to his people wrathful, sorrowing. Said he: O my people! did not your Lord promise you a goodly promise: did then the time seem long to you, or did you wish that displeasure from your Lord should be due to you, so that you broke (your) promise to me?

YUSUFALI: They said: "We broke not the promise to thee, as far as lay in our power: but we were made to carry the weight of the ornaments of the (whole) people, and we threw them (into the fire), and that was what the Samiri suggested.
PICKTHAL: They said: We broke not tryst with thee of our own will, but we were laden with burdens of ornaments of the folk, then cast them (in the fire), for thus As-Samiri proposed.
SHAKIR: They said: We did not break (our) promise to you of our own accord, but we were made to bear the burdens of the ornaments of the people, then we made a casting of them, and thus did the Samiri suggest.
Sura 20:95-97,

YUSUFALI: (Moses) said: "What then is thy case, O Samiri?"
PICKTHAL: (Moses) said: And what hast thou to say, O Samiri?
SHAKIR: He said: What was then your object, O Samiri?

YUSUFALI: He replied: "I saw what they saw not: so I took a handful (of dust) from the footprint of the Messenger, and threw it (into the calf): thus did my soul suggest to me."
PICKTHAL: He said: I perceived what they perceive not, so I seized a handful from the footsteps of the messenger, and then threw it in. Thus my soul commended to me.
SHAKIR: He said: I saw (Jibreel) what they did not see, so I took a handful (of the dust) from the footsteps of the messenger, then I threw it in the casting; thus did my soul commend to me

YUSUFALI: (Moses) said: "Get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, 'touch me not'; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: Now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted worshipper: We will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!"
PICKTHAL: (Moses) said: Then go! and lo! in this life it is for thee to say: Touch me not! and lo! there is for thee a tryst thou canst not break. Now look upon thy god of which thou hast remained a votary. Verily we will burn it and will scatter its dust over the sea.
SHAKIR: He said: Begone then, surely for you it will be in this life to say, Touch (me) not; and surely there is a threat for you, which shall not be made to fail to you, and look at your god to whose worship you kept (so long); we will certainly burn it, then we will certainly scatter it a (wide) scattering in the sea.
The term was not used by anyone until around 722 BC, hundreds of years after the exodus that the "error free" Quran describes in this sura.
History proves without question that the term and the country did NOT exist until HUNDREDS OF YEARS LATER.
Would a perfect god make this blatant historical error?

2) The miraculous journey:
Sura 17:1 of the quran reads....
"Glory to Allah Who did take his servant for a journey by night.
From the sacred mosque to THE FARTHEST MOSQUE".
Sura 17:1,
YUSUFALI: Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).
PICKTHAL: Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable Place of Worship to the Far distant place of worship the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, that We might show him of Our tokens! Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer.
SHAKIR: Glory be to Him Who made His servant to go on a night from the Sacred Mosque to the remote mosque of which We have blessed the precincts, so that We may show to him some of Our signs; surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
The furthest mosque (arabic name of which is Al-Masjid-ul-Aqs-a) didn`t exist until AFTER Muhammed died, Muhammed COULD NOT HAVE VISITED IT!
Of course if this was added AFTER his death then it would have been easy to make such a mistake, but muslims are adamant the quran has not changed....
This verse is said to have been revealed around 622 AD but then the place the mosque, mentioned by name (so no doubting which mosque is meant), is at did not exist and indeed the place it now sits was in CHRISTIAN hands then and not muslim.
And no temple existed there either.
Muslims have attempted to say that the name is incorrect, that the name in the Quran ("the farthest mosque") must simply be another mosque with that name or that it refers to the temple (which of course we know didn`t exist then either) - anything they can rather than admitting that the quran got it wrong.

3) Two of everything:
Sura 51:49 of the quran tells us that....
"of everything we have created PAIRS that ye may receive instruction"
Sura 51:49,
YUSUFALI: And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction.
PICKTHAL: And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect.
SHAKIR: And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful.
The quran claims to be from allah and here allah tells us that everything was made in pairs (incidentally muslims say they worship just one god, allah, yet here the quran says "WE have created" and not "I have created"?).
Guess allah didn`t make everything after all then, after all there is gravity which keeps us down - but no anti-gravity which pulls us up.
Bdelloid Rotifers (I`m not a scientist so hope I`ve spelled this right are a class of life that have apparently, according to the experts, been pair-less for millions of years.
I will not detail whole lists of things here that are not made in pairs such as certain types of plant, bacterium, etc etera as I`m sure most will know of at least one example and even one disproves the qurans claim.

4) Alexander the great - the muslim BEFORE Muhammed:
We all know of the infamous Alexander the great, he happened to think he was divine and had statues erected to himself among his historical achievements.
But did you know he was a muslim?
Surah 18 tells us of Zul-Quarnain, who muslims have always claimed is Alexander the great.
Sura 18:83,
YUSUFALI: They ask thee concerning Zul-qarnain. Say, "I will rehearse to you something of his story."
PICKTHAL: They will ask thee of Dhu'l-Qarneyn. Say: I shall recite unto you a remembrance of him.
SHAKIR: And they ask you about Zulqarnain. Say: I will recite to you an account of him.
And,
Sura 18.86,
YUSUFALI: Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."
PICKTHAL: Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a people thereabout. We said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness.
SHAKIR: Until when he reached the place where the sun set, he found it going down into a black sea, and found by it a people. We said: O Zulqarnain! either give them a chastisement or do them a benefit.
And,
Sura 18.94,
YUSUFALI: They said: "O Zul-qarnain! the Gog and Magog (People) do great mischief on earth: shall we then render thee tribute in order that thou mightest erect a barrier between us and them?
PICKTHAL: They said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Lo! Gog and Magog are spoiling the land. So may we pay thee tribute on condition that thou set a barrier between us and them?
SHAKIR: They said: O Zulqarnain! surely Gog and Magog make mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute on condition that you should raise a barrier between us and them
According to muslims he was a great muslim, a follower of one god and apparently lived to old age.
Alexander the great, however, died at 33 years old after having put up statues to lots of different gods and even thought he himself was a god.
Clearly he was not a muslim, despite their claims, and he did not live to old age.

5) The amazing tale of pharoah:
We all know of the infamous pharoah and how he perished chasing after the Israelites.
But did you know that allah killed him and also let him live?
Surah 10:92 tells us that allah saved pharoah and let him live but the same story elsewhere in the quran (Suras 28:40, 17:103 and 43:55) say that actually pharoah drowned!
Sura 10:92,
YUSUFALI: "This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!"
PICKTHAL: But this day We save thee in thy body that thou mayst be a portent for those after thee. Lo! most of mankind are heedless of Our portents.
SHAKIR: But We will this day deliver you with your body that you may be a sign to those after you, and most surely the majority of the people are heedless to Our

YUSUFALI: So We seized him and his hosts, and We flung them into the sea: Now behold what was the end of those who did wrong!
PICKTHAL: Therefor We seized him and his hosts, and abandoned them unto the sea. Behold the nature of the consequence for evil-doers!
SHAKIR: So We caught hold of him and his hosts, then We cast them into the sea, and see how was the end of the unjust.

Sura 17:103,
YUSUFALI: So he resolved to remove them from the face of the earth: but We did drown him and all who were with him.
PICKTHAL: And he wished to scare them from the land, but We drowned him and those with him, all together.
SHAKIR: So he desired to destroy them out of the earth, but We drowned him and those with him all together;
And,
Sura 43:55,
YUSUFALI: When at length they provoked Us, We exacted retribution from them, and We drowned them all.
PICKTHAL: So, when they angered Us, We punished them and drowned them every one.
SHAKIR: Then when they displeased Us, We inflicted a retribution on them, so We drowned them all together,
Now if there is NO ERROR in the quran then how can pharoah have died in one Sura yet not died in the others?

6) Angels cannot disobey allah:
Sura 16:49-50 says of the angels that "...They ALL fear their Lord, high above them, and they do ALL THEY ARE COMMANDED."

YUSUFALI: And to Allah doth obeisance all that is in the heavens and on earth, whether moving (living) creatures or the angels: for none are arrogant (before their Lord).
PICKTHAL: And unto Allah maketh prostration whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth of living creatures, and the angels (also) and they are not proud.
SHAKIR: And whatever creature that is in the heavens and that is in the earth makes obeisance to Allah (only), and the angels (too) and they do not show pride.

YUSUFALI: They all revere their Lord, high above them, and they do all that they are commanded.
PICKTHAL: They fear their Lord above them, and do what they are bidden.
SHAKIR: They fear their Lord above them and do what they are commanded.
Here we are told angels NEVER disobey allah.
But, not suprisingly, the quran then says in Sura 2:34 when talking of the angels being told to bow down to Adam that
"And behold, we said to the angels: `bow down to Adam`. And they bowed down, EXCEPT IBLIS. HE REFUSED AND WAS HAUGHTY".
Sura 2:34,
YUSUFALI: He said: "O Adam! Tell them their names." When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?"
PICKTHAL: He said: O Adam! Inform them of their names, and when he had informed them of their names, He said: Did I not tell you that I know the secret of the heavens and the earth? And I know that which ye disclose and which ye hide.
SHAKIR: He said: O Adam! inform them of their names. Then when he had informed them of their names, He said: Did I not say to you that I surely know what is ghaib in the heavens and the earth and (that) I know what you manifest and what you hide?
So according to the quran ALL angels do as commanded, but not always
UPDATE: In fairness to Muslims I have offered to show any problems found with the articles on Islam. One has written and been discussing with me this error in particular about angels disobeying allah.
As he rightly points out there is another Sura (Surah 18:50) which says the same thing but also says Iblis was a Jinn. Surah 2:34 however says ALL the angels bowed EXCEPT Iblis.
Sura 18:50,
YUSUFALI: Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam": They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrong-doers!
PICKTHAL: And (remember) when We said unto the angels: Fall prostrate before Adam, and they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He was of the jinn, so he rebelled against his Lord's command. Will ye choose him and his seed for your protecting friends instead of Me, when they are an enemy unto you? Calamitous is the exchange for evil-doers.
SHAKIR: And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam; they made obeisance but Iblis (did it not). He was of the jinn, so he transgressed the commandment of his Lord. What! would you then take him and his offspring for friends rather than Me, and they are your enemies? Evil is (this) change for the unjust.
If the Quran is indeed error free this passage makes no sense as for all angels to bow except Iblis implies he too is an angel, if not then the command did not apply to him and so the Quran is wrong to say all angels except Iblis bowed.
The given answer to this, and one I cannot argue is wrong as I do not speak Arabic, is that the translations are in error and that the original Arabic language Quran reads in such a way that there is no confusion.
While I can`t confirm this without reading Arabic I felt I should add this possible explanation in the interests of fairness as I`m not here to mislead but to be honest. Basically the argument for explaining this difference is that the English translations are incorrect and that the Arabic version is the only one not.

Eve was thoroughly deceived, but her husband was not as revealed by 1 Timothy 2:14, [AV] “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” Yes, the serpent was the creature the Devil used to communicate with Eve, and the Bible says of the serpent at Genesis 3:1, [AV] “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” And of the serpent, the Bible says at Isaiah 65:25, [AV] “The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.”

7) Allah tells Moses about following Jesus gospel - 1000 years too early:
The Injil (or gospel) is what muslims say was given to Jesus.
Jesus was born about 1400 or so years AFTER Moses.
Sura 7:157 reads "Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (Scriptures), in the Torah AND THE GOSPEL".
Sura 7:157,
YUSUFALI: "Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."
PICKTHAL: Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. He will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that which is wrong. He will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for them only the foul; and he will relieve them of their burden and the fetters that they used to wear. Then those who believe in him, and honour him, and help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him: they are the successful.
SHAKIR: Those who follow the Messenger-Prophet, the Ummi, whom they find written down with them in the Taurat and the Injeel (who) enjoins them good and forbids them evil, and makes lawful to them the good things and makes unlawful to them impure things, and removes from them their burden and the shackles which were upon them; so (as for) those who believe in him and honor him and help him, and follow the light which has been sent down with him, these it is that are the successful.
The quran makes it clear Jesus was given the gospel but here allah tells Moses that the people of that time could find Muhammed in Jesus` gospel - when it wouldn`t be knowen for well over another THOUSAND years.
The only way a muslim seems to find out of this one is to say it refers to the gospel, as we know, but that it is telling them it is yet to be revealed - unfortunately it is quite evident that allahs speech here is in the present tense to them, i.e. he is addressing them as if it already exists "WHOM THEY FIND MENTIONED" not "who they WILL find mentioned".
The incredible changing man:
Did you know that allah created man, according to the quran from one thing.

Suras 4:11-12 and 4:176 of the quran tell us the details of the muslim inheritance law.

YUSUFALI: Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half. For parents, a sixth share of the inheritance to each, if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased Left brothers (or sisters) the mother has a sixth. If it is a man that dies, leaving a sister but no child, she shall have half the inheritance: If (such a deceased was) a woman, who left no child, Her brother takes her inheritance: If there are two sisters, they shall have two-thirds of the inheritance (between them): if there are brothers and sisters, (they share), the male having twice the share of the female. Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His law), lest ye err. And Allah hath knowledge of all things.
PICKTHAL: They ask thee for a pronouncement. Say: Allah hath pronounced for you concerning distant kindred. If a man die childless and he have a sister, hers is half the heritage, and he would have inherited from her had she died childless. And if there be two sisters, then theirs are two-thirds of the heritage, and if they be brethren, men and women, unto the male is the equivalent of the share of two females. Allah expoundeth unto you, so that ye err not. Allah is Knower of all things.
SHAKIR: They ask you for a decision of the law. Say: Allah gives you a decision concerning the person who has neither parents nor offspring; if a man dies (and) he has no son and he has a sister, she shall have half of what he leaves, and he shall be her heir she has no son; but if there be two (sisters), they shall have two-thirds of what he leaves; and if there are brethren, men and women, then the male shall have the like of the portion of two females; Allah makes clear to you, lest you err; and Allah knows all things.
When a man dies, leaving behind three daughters, his two parents and wife, they receive respective shares of 2/3 for the three daughters together, 1/3 for the parents together and 1/8 for the wife which adds up to more than is actually possible
Example two is that a man leaves only his mother, his wife and two sisters, then they receive 1/3 , 1/4 and 2/3 [the two sisters, 4:176], which again adds up to 15/12 of the available property.
How can allah tell them this is how much each will receive when it adds up to MORE than 100% of what is actually there, it is physically impossible - if you are left three cars you can`t give five of them away can you (because it`s impossible)?

9) Angels don`t protect, but they do:
The last of these brief contradictions (it`s taken me a while to compile these so don`t expect another list just yet looks at the role of angels in the error free quran.
Suras 2:107 and 29:22 tell us that "Besides Allah you have no protector nor helper".
Sura 2:107,
YUSUFALI: Knowest thou not that to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth? And besides Him ye have neither patron nor helper.
PICKTHAL: Knowest thou not that it is Allah unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and ye have not, beside Allah, any guardian or helper?
SHAKIR: Do you not know that Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and that besides Allah you have no guardian or helper?

Sura 29:22,
YUSUFALI: "Not on earth nor in heaven will ye be able (fleeing) to frustrate (his Plan), nor have ye, besides Allah, any protector or helper."

But in Sura 41:3 the angels tell us that "We are your PROTECTORS in this life and the hereafter"

Allah made man from lots of different things, that you can inherit more than you are ever left with physically, that Alexander the great was a pious muslim, that someone corrupted the Israelites hundreds of years before he or his country came into being, that Muhammed went somewhere which didn`t exist until AFTER he died, that EVERYTHING is made as part of a pair, that pharoah died chasing Moses, that Moses was spared his life while chasing Moses, Jesus` gospel was really given by Jesus 1400 years before He was born and that angels never disobey allah - except when they choose to. 7) Allah tells Moses about following Jesus gospel - 1000 years too early:
The Injil (or gospel) is what muslims say was given to Jesus.
Jesus was born about 1400 or so years AFTER Moses.
Sura 7:157 reads "Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (Scriptures), in the Torah AND THE GOSPEL".
Sura 7:157,
YUSUFALI: "Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."
PICKTHAL: Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. He will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that which is wrong. He will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for them only the foul; and he will relieve them of their burden and the fetters that they used to wear. Then those who believe in him, and honour him, and help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him: they are the successful.
SHAKIR: Those who follow the Messenger-Prophet, the Ummi, whom they find written down with them in the Taurat and the Injeel (who) enjoins them good and forbids them evil, and makes lawful to them the good things and makes unlawful to them impure things, and removes from them their burden and the shackles which were upon them; so (as for) those who believe in him and honor him and help him, and follow the light which has been sent down with him, these it is that are the successful.
The quran makes it clear Jesus was given the gospel but here allah tells Moses that the people of that time could find Muhammed in Jesus` gospel - when it wouldn`t be knowen for well over another THOUSAND years.
The only way a muslim seems to find out of this one is to say it refers to the gospel, as we know, but that it is telling them it is yet to be revealed - unfortunately it is quite evident that allahs speech here is in the present tense to them, i.e. he is addressing them as if it already exists "WHOM THEY FIND MENTIONED" not "who they WILL find mentioned".

And to each of his parents a sixth of the inheritance, if he have a son; and if he have no son and his parents are his heirs, then to his mother appertaineth the third; and if he have brethren, then to his mother appertaineth the sixth, after any legacy he may have bequeathed, or debt (hath been paid). Your parents and your children: Ye know not which of them is nearer unto you in usefulness. It is an injunction from Allah. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise.

YUSUFALI: In what your wives leave, your share is a half, if they leave no child; but if they leave a child, ye get a fourth; after payment of legacies and debts. SHAKIR: They ask you for a decision of the law. Say: Allah gives you a decision concerning the person who has neither parents nor offspring; if a man dies (and) he has no son and he has a sister, she shall have half of what he leaves, and he shall be her heir she has no son; but if there be two (sisters), they shall have two-thirds of what he leaves; and if there are brethren, men and women, then the male shall have the like of the portion of two females; Allah makes clear to you, lest you err; and Allah knows all things.
When a man dies, leaving behind three daughters, his two parents and wife, they receive respective shares of 2/3 for the three daughters together, 1/3 for the parents together and 1/8 for the wife which adds up to more than is actually possible
Example two is that a man leaves only his mother, his wife and two sisters, then they receive 1/3 , 1/4 and 2/3 [the two sisters, 4:176], which again adds up to 15/12 of the available property.
How can allah tell them this is how much each will receive when it adds up to MORE than 100% of what is actually there, it is physically impossible - if you are left three cars you can`t give five of them away can you (because it`s impossible)?

9) Angels don`t protect, but they do:
The last of these brief contradictions (it`s taken me a while to compile these so don`t expect another list just yet looks at the role of angels in the error free quran.
Suras 2:107 and 29:22 tell us that "Besides Allah you have no protector nor helper".
Sura 2:107,
YUSUFALI: Knowest thou not that to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth? And besides Him ye have neither patron nor helper.
PICKTHAL: Knowest thou not that it is Allah unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and ye have not, beside Allah, any guardian or helper?
SHAKIR: Do you not know that Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and that besides Allah you have no guardian or helper?
And,
Sura 29:22,
YUSUFALI: "Not on earth nor in heaven will ye be able (fleeing) to frustrate (his Plan), nor have ye, besides Allah, any protector or helper."
PICKTHAL: Ye cannot escape (from Him) in the earth or in the sky, and beside Allah there is for you no friend or helper.
SHAKIR: And you shall not escape in the earth nor in the heaven, and you have neither a protector nor a helper besides Allah.
But in Sura 41:3 the angels tell us that "We are your PROTECTORS in this life and the hereafter"

YUSUFALI: A Book, whereof the verses are explained in detail;- a Quran in Arabic, for people who understand;-

and in Suras 13:11, 50:17 and 82:10 we are told angels guard and later that they protect (Sura 82:10).
Sura 13:11,
YUSUFALI: For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession, before and behind him: They guard him by command of Allah. Allah does not change a people's lot unless they change what is in their hearts. But when (once) Allah willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect.
PICKTHAL: For him are angels ranged before him and behind him, who guard him by Allah's command. Lo! Allah changeth not the condition of a folk until they (first) change that which is in their hearts; and if Allah willeth misfortune for a folk there is none that can repel it, nor have they a defender beside Him.
SHAKIR: For his sake there are angels following one another, before him and behind him, who guard him by Allah's commandment; surely Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change their own condition; and when Allah intends evil to a people, there is no averting it, and besides Him they have no protector.
And,
Sura 50:17,
YUSUFALI: Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left.
PICKTHAL: When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left,
SHAKIR: When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left.
And,
Sura 82:10,
YUSUFALI: But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,-
PICKTHAL: Lo! there are above you guardians,
SHAKIR: And most surely there are keepers over you

Allah made man from lots of different things, that you can inherit more than you are ever left with physically, that Alexander the great was a pious muslim, that someone corrupted the Israelites hundreds of years before he or his country came into being, that Muhammed went somewhere which didn`t exist until AFTER he died, that EVERYTHING is made as part of a pair, that pharoah died chasing Moses, that Moses was spared his life while chasing Moses, Jesus` gospel was really given by Jesus 1400 years before He was born and that angels never disobey allah - except when they choose to. Muhammad (pbuh) in reciting The Quran says that it (the Quran) is the Word of God, it cannot be wrong it cannot be changed.
"None can change His words:" (sura 6: 115).

This passage informs us that God sent;
the Quran through Muhammad,
and that this same God also sent at the very least the following writtings of the Bible;
the Torah through Moses,
the Gospel through Jesus,
the Psalms through David,
the book of Job,
the book of Jonah.
If we accept this as true because it is God's Word and His word cannot be "changed" by Him (Sura 6: 115, and 10: 65) then we must also accept that the following is true.
"there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah." (sura 6: 34)

Conclusion One:
The Quran is the Word of God, it was spoken by Muhammad, but the words were given to him by the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, , therefore the Quran is the Word of God.
These words cannot be changed because the time of all revelation has now ceased with the death of Muhammad, and as Muhammad is the Last Prophet the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, will send, there can never be any change to the Quran.
Now here is the problem that I find in this, as I see it:
If All of the Above is true, then it is also true that;
the Torah through Moses,
the Gospel through Jesus,
the Psalms through David,
the book of Job,
the book of Jonah.
are also the Word of God.
Sura 4: 163 says of Muhammad that

This tells us that the inspiration that Muhammad recieved was the same as that which God had previously given to Moses, Jesus (Yeshua), David, Job, Jonah and others.
Therefore as this is the same inspiration, these prophets also received the Word of God. How then can there be any error in anything that they received?
Surely there cannot be any corruption, change or mistakes because the Quran also tells us;
"there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah." (sura 6: 34)

SHAKIR: And most certainly We gave Musa the Book and We sent messengers after him one after another; and We gave Isa, the son of Marium, clear arguments and strengthened him with the holy spirit, What! whenever then a messenger came to you with that which your souls did not desire, you were insolent so you called some liars and some you slew.

Therefore the Torah must be and remain extant, it must be uncorrupted, unchanged.
The same must also be true of the other writings that the Quran mentions, for the inspiration is the same, the manner of communication is the same (Books).
Therefore these also must be the Word of God, about which the Quran says,
"there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah." (sura 6: 34)

If any one holds the Quran to be 100% the infallible Word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, and they believe that Old middle eastern celestial Moon god, "Allah," is YHWH, then there is no corruption within the mentioned biblical books.
There can be no corruption or alteration, for the Quran states that God gave these prophets the books, the Quran states that no one can change God's Word.
Therefore to say that there is corruption in the word of the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, the Bible, to say that any of these have been changed is to say that the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, has lied, and that the Quran is wrong when it sates that God gave these prophets Books which are the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael, creator of all there is, His word and cannot be changed.
But that is blasphemy in Muslim circles, that is slander against Muhammad, the Quran and God!!
The Truth therefore must be,
That the error is in the claim of corruption and alteration of Old middle eastern celestial Moon god, "Allah's" word? Which has been shown before is also the conclusion of some Muslim scholars,
Muhammad 'Abduh (Egypt) - the charge of corruption:
... makes no sense at all. It would not have been possible for Jews and Christians everywhere to agree on changing the text. Even if those in Arabia had done it, the difference between their book and those of their brothers, let us say in Syria or Europe, would have been obvious.
Mawlawi Muhammad Sa'id (Pakistan):
Some Muslims imagine that the Injil is corrupted. But... not even one among all the verses of the Quran mentions that the Injil or Tawrat is corrupted... it is written that the Jews -... not the Christians... alter the meaning of the passages from the Tawrat while they are explaining them. At least the Christians are completely exonerated from this charge. Hence the Injil is not corrupted and the Tawrat is not corrupted...
Sayyid Ahmad Husayn Shawkat Mirthi:
The ordinary Muslim people...believe through hearsay...that the Injil is corrupted, even though they cannot indicate what passage was corrupted, when it was corrupted, and who corrupted it. Is there any religious community...whose lot is so miserable that they would shred their heavenly Book with their own hands...? To say that God has taken the Injil and the Tawrat into heaven and has abrogated them is to defame and slander God...
As this is the only possible logical conclusion that does not deny the Quran or Muhammad. Then this is the error.
Thus every Muslim must today begin reading and studying the Bible for the full knowledge and teaching of the Lord God Almighty. Just as they must also desist with the denial of the Quran and Muhammad, the Bible and all the prophets.[this work draws heavily on the work of Malcomite].

DIYARBAKIR, TURKEY - Desperately unhappy, 21-year-old Sahe Fidan left the husband she despised and sought refuge in her parents' home. They refused to take her in. A married woman can leave her husband only in a coffin, they told her.
Fidan returned to the husband, and she left him in a coffin. A few weeks ago, she was found hanged in the bathroom, her infant son strapped to her back with a sheet.
Her corpse was discovered when the baby, unharmed, began to cry. Fidan had committed suicide.
Or had she?
After her death in a village in southeastern Turkey, another version circulated. Some activists and officials suspect that Fidan may have joined the ranks of Turkish women forced to kill themselves, or whose slayings are disguised to look self-inflicted.
The killing of women and girls by male relatives who think the females have brought shame to the family's honor is an atrocity that has plagued Turkey and other Islamic countries for generations. Thousands of women have died, been attacked or compelled to commit suicide in so-called honor killings.
In Turkey, the government has finally taken action. Under pressure from an invigorated women's movement and eager to win approval from the European Union, the government has launched a major campaign against honor killings, at a level and with a breadth virtually unheard of in the Islamic world.
Turkish imams have joined pop music stars and soccer celebrities to produce TV spots and billboard ads condemning all forms of violence against women. Broaching a topic that remains largely taboo in many conservative societies, the nation's top Islamic authority has declared honor killing a sin.
Late last year, jail sentences for men and boys who commit the crime were stiffened, and new provisions in the penal code make it harder for a court to reduce sentences. (As recently as 10 months ago, in a typical case, the life sentence of a young man who had killed his sister was substantially reduced because the judges decided he had been "provoked." He had buried her up to her neck in rocks after she was impregnated in a rape.)
In cities and towns with the highest honor killing rates, officials working with advocacy groups are holding town hall meetings and setting up rescue teams and hotlines for endangered women and girls.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the head of a conservative, Islamist-rooted party, went before a gathering of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in November to argue for better treatment of women and to condemn honor killings as a scourge that must be eradicated from Islamic societies.
"We can say these murders are isolated incidents, yet we cannot turn a blind eye to such inhuman acts that are largely the product of ignorance," he said. "Discrimination against women is worse than racism. We must reject the treatment of women as second-class beings."
The challenge is enormous: fighting archaic customs based not so much on religion as on deep-seated tradition and feudal clan systems.
Many of the experts, social workers and officials involved speak of a new era of openness and willingness to confront the problem, but they caution that it will be a long time before attitudes are changed. There is no indication that the number of killings or forced suicides has dropped, though advocates say they feel they now have a better arsenal.
"On paper, we seem to have achieved a lot," Fatma Sahin, a lawmaker with the ruling party who oversaw the drafting of a 300-page report on honor killings, said in an interview in Ankara, the capital. "But when we go out into the field, we recognize that a lot more needs to be done."
A significant segment of the Turkish population defines all-important honor in terms of the chastity and obedience of each female member of a family. As "owners" of women, men must defend honor by safeguarding their bodies and sexuality.
In a United Nations poll conducted last year, 17% of Turkish men said they approved of honor killing. Many more approved of lesser punishments, one of the most common being the slicing off of a woman's nose.
Such attitudes persist in many segments of the Turkish population, especially in the Kurdish southeast. But local activism in behalf of women is also flourishing.
"This is a part of the country where it is not accepted that women work or travel, where they are not valued as individuals," said Canan Hancer Basturk, deputy governor of Diyarbakir. "But girls see the other side, modern Turkey, on TV or in the media, and with the rise in literacy, people's expectations are rising.
"So they want to break out of their shells, and that's where the clash comes between girls and their families, and for some boys too," she said. " 'Honor' is another way of clinging to values and resisting change."
Alarmed by the soaring number of women seeking help, the Diyarbakir government opened the region's first proper shelter for abused women in 2005.
Behind a metal gate on the forlorn northern outskirts of the city, the low-slung complex houses about 50 women. Its location is discreet and, theoretically at least, kept secret out of fear of attack by angry relatives. (The Times was given access on the condition that the women's names not be published.)
One resident was a tall, fair 16-year-old who said her father had ordered her to kill herself.
He had arranged for her marriage to a man she wanted nothing to do with, and she went along at first, long enough to become pregnant. Then she left her husband, hoping to join her true love. But he had married someone else. She returned to her parents' home.
Incensed, her father labeled her damaged goods and gave her a single option: suicide.
She fled to the police and was placed in the shelter, where she gave birth.
Many residents of the shelter were young, in their teens or early 20s, and had been raped; several were toting babies, the product of the rapes. A woman who is raped is often blamed for the crime and risks punishment, even death, at the hands of her relatives. Sometimes she is given the "option" of marrying her rapist, on the theory that no one else will want her and that the marriage wipes away the shame.
Only one of the rape victims interviewed said she thought she could go home again. "My parents know it wasn't my fault," she said. The woman was at the shelter under court order because the rapist was loose and considered a threat.
Sacide Akkaya, an official with KA-MER, the leading women's organization in southeastern Turkey, has seen a progression in the women she works with, from a resignation to violence as a part of their hard lives to a timid but growing willingness to challenge the status quo. It enables social workers to save more people, she said.
"I wouldn't say the volume of incidents has been reduced, but it is less secret now," Akkaya said. "The relatives of the women are often the ones who will tip off authorities, or maybe the neighbors will call. Even the men are starting to get it - many of the tipsters are men. That's what gives us so much hope."
Among the hundreds of honor killings in Turkey, it is impossible to quantify the forced suicides. A special U.N. rapporteur, Yakin Erturk, was dispatched to the country's south last year to investigate a rash of suicides. She concluded that some probably had been "instigated" and cited a host of contributing factors: forced and early marriages, denial of reproductive rights, poverty, migration and displacement, among others.
Victims say they've been ordered by relatives to kill themselves, locked in rooms with a gun or rope, watched over while they were expected to slit their wrists. The infraction can be as slight as a desire to work or the wearing of jeans, the sentence often decided in a family council.
Handan Coskun, a former journalist, started a women's center in Diyarbakir in response to suicides she began investigating several years ago, when the rate in southeastern Turkey was two to three times the national rate. There were dozens of cases, many not related to honor issues. One consistency was that far more females committed or attempted suicide than males, which is the opposite of the worldwide pattern.
Women typically feel isolation or alienation more acutely than men, Coskun said, especially if the family has been transplanted from its rural village to a city. Tens of thousands of families, primarily Kurds, were forced to move into southeastern cities during the Turkish army's fight against Kurdish guerrillas in the 1980s and '90s.
At not quite 5 feet tall, Coskun has had to shout down angry fathers as she rescued women and girls, or gone toe-to-toe with 17 armed clansmen who invaded her office looking for their female relative. She believes she and her team have prevented 17 killings in the last year.
"When we intervene with a family that seems likely to kill a daughter, we have to be very tough to show the same toughness that the family shows," she said.
Turkey's failure to improve the status of women has long been one of the impediments to its integration into Europe. Outsiders are watching to see whether the latest steps will bring real change.
"There is no evidence yet that we are changing the mentality," said Meltem Agduk, a Turkish expert on honor killings who works with the U.N. "The important thing is that people are not so quiet about the issue. And because of that, change will be more rapid than it has in the past.">>>.

Clearly we should NOT be judging others as some pre-judged Jesus (Yeshua), but we should be kind to others and be forgiving of them since we are all sinners. How often should we forgive others? This was a question put to Jesus (Yeshua) to which He gave a clear answer found at Matthew 18:21 – 22, [AV] “Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”
[2] Anonidium mannii (Junglesop) is a fast-growing tropical African tree that grows to 8–30 m high, with a girth of up to 2 m.[1] It has 20–40 cm long leaves and large flowers which produce edible fruits generally around 4–6 kg, but which can be up to around 15 kg. Fruit flavor is rich but variable and is sometimes described as an acquired taste, though the fruits are generally in high demand in Africa, with large fruits commanding high prices. The fruit is a favorite with local people (who refer to it as "bobo"[2]) and local primates, especially bonobos.
Fruit
After approximately 10 years, junglesops begin to produce fruit seasonally. Normally around 5 kg, some are up to 15 kg, making the junglesop not only the largest of the Annonaceae but one of the largest fruits in the world, though not as large as the jackfruit or Telfairia pedata. Inside the tough, leathery brown skin patterned with raised diamond-shapes is a soft yellow-orange pulp with a somewhat peachy but unique flavor ranging from sweet to sour depending upon the genetic qualities of the tree concerned and upon its ripeness when harvested.[3] Some fruits do not taste good, but its rich flavor appeals to most palates and it is rich in Vitamin A.
Reproductive biology
Its pollen is shed as permanent tetrads.[4]
Cultivation
Recommended cultivation distance is 8 meters square, and planting several trees together is recommended to ensure good pollination. Trees reportedly prefer a rich, acidic and moist but well drained soil.[5] As an understory tree, it is shade tolerant, but susceptible to wind damage. Attempts at cultivation have also been hampered by insect attack[1] and fungal diseases.[3]
Where it occurs naturally, the tree is not generally cultivated, possibly due to the availability of the fruit from wild trees, possibly due to the fact that although fast-growing, trees take so long to bear fruit.
Distribution
The natural range of the junglesop is jungles of central Africa, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, Angola, Zambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Gabon and Cameroon. As well as in lowland rainforests, it grows on fringing forest and adjacent savanna especially next to rivers, provided the soil is well drained.[5]
It has also been planted in Hawaii, Malaysia and Australia, but has not yet set fruit.[6] A single tree is known to be growing in the continental US, in the Miami garden of pomologist Bill Whitman, though it too has never fruited.[7]

In fact, many Biblical passages allude to the act of anal sex between men and women. Lamentations 2:10 describes how "The virgins of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground," indicating how a virginal maidens should position themselves to receive anal sex. Another suggestive scripture tells of a woman's pride in her "valley" (referring to her buttocks and the cleft between them) and entices her lover to ejaculate against her backside: "How boastful you are about the valleys! O backsliding daughter who trusts in her treasures, {saying,} ' Who will come against me?' (Jeremiah 49:4) And in the Song of Songs, the lover urges his mate to allow him to enter her from behind: "Draw me after you, let us make haste." (Song of Solomon, 1:4)
"Isn't anal sex dirty?"
The Bible says, "To the pure, all things are pure." (Titus 1:15) The Lord created your body, and no part of it is imperfect or unclean. And receiving in themselves, etc. The meaning of this doubtless is, that the effect of such base and unnatural passions was to enfeeble the body, to produce premature old age, disease, decay, and an early death. That this is the effect of the indulgence of licentious passions, is amply proved by the history of man. The despots who practise polygamy, and keep harems in the east, are commonly superannuated at forty years of age; and it is well known, even in Christian countries, that the effect of licentious indulgence is to break down and destroy the constitution. How much more might this be expected to follow the practice of the vice specified in the verse under examination! God has marked the indulgence of licentious passions with his frown. Since the time of the Romans and the Greeks, as if there had not been sufficient restraints before, he has originated a new disease, which is one of the most loathsome and distressing which has ever afflicted man, and which has swept off millions of victims. But the effect on the body was not all. It tended to debase the mind; to sink man below the level of the brute; to destroy the sensibility; and to '' sear the conscience as with a hot iron." Among the hundreds of honor killings in Turkey, it is impossible to quantify the forced suicides. A special U.N. rapporteur, Yakin Erturk, was dispatched to the country's south last year to investigate a rash of suicides. She concluded that some probably had been "instigated" and cited a host of contributing factors: forced and early marriages, denial of reproductive rights, poverty, migration and displacement, among others.
Victims say they've been ordered by relatives to kill themselves, locked in rooms with a gun or rope, watched over while they were expected to slit their wrists. The infraction can be as slight as a desire to work or the wearing of jeans, the sentence often decided in a family council....">>>.

This REALITY is overlooked by many intentionally as they want to assign later behavior to schools or other institutions since they can not face reality that the parents, religious institutions, and acquaintances are really responsible. PROJECTION OF AN INDIVIDUAL’S BAD QUALITIES ON NONE RESPONSIBLE CAUSES – Many try to project bad actions later on life on other entities instead of accepting reality as to the causative formative year learning. This is especially so with respect to members of Islam. Take for example, Iftikhar Ahmad, of the Islamic School of London, He tries to assign responsibility to state schools of the United Kingdom. Yet he claims to be an expert on education with over 40 years of experience in that field. However, he tries to assign radicalization of some Muslims to education received to state schools, and even tries to justify this erroneous conclusion by stating none of the students of a few Muslim Faith Based Schools in the United Kingdom became terrorist. However, he overlooks reality since he fails to recognize these may not come from the same pool of Muslims in that country as the ones who became radicalized.
Yes, the Muslims in the United Kingdom are not one monolithic pool or group, but made up of several who bring up their children very differently. However, many Muslims in the United Kingdom instruct their children knowingly or unknowingly to hate, love violence, and a disregard for the person and property of others. The Free Muslims Coalition believes that there can NEVER be a justification for terrorism.
The Coalition believes that fundamentalist Islamic terror represents one of the most lethal threats to the stability of the civilized world. The existence of Islamic terrorists is the existence of threats to democracy. There is no room for terrorism in the modern world and the United States should take a no-tolerance stance on terrorism in order to avoid another tragedy, along the lines of 9-11. With the added threat of biochemical weapons, the call to defeat terrorism has never been so urgent.
Among Islamic scholars, the concept of jihad ranges in definition from the personal struggle against temptation to holy war. All calls for jihad to create an Islamic state should be rejected as heretic and a threat to modern society. The Coalition feels that the concept of jihad should be reinterpreted for a modern day context in which holy war is obsolete. No holy war needs to be waged; there is no clear and present threat to Islam; the only war that needs to be waged in the modern world is one against terrorists and extremists. As militant Islamic fundamentalism increases, the Coalition will wage a battle of minds as we bring Islam into the 21st century and introduce a doctrine which is compatible with democracy and modern living.
So far, the few Muslims who choose to speak up against militant extremist Islam have faced threats of violence and accusations of being anti-Islam. In effect, the message disseminated by radical Muslims is that merely discussing Islamic terrorism is to be construed as an attack on Islam.
More effectively, Muslim extremists have quelled criticism against them from peaceful Muslims by adopting popular Muslim and Arab causes. A case in point is the adoption of the Palestinian cause. The issue of Palestine and the suffering of the Palestinians is the single most important issue that unites the entire Muslim and Arab world. No issue evokes the passion of Muslims and Arabs as much as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is so important to Arabs and Muslims that every extremist group from Morocco to Indonesia that seeks legitimacy and a following, places the "liberation" of Palestine at the forefront of their agenda. For example, recall that Saddam Hussein responded to the world's request that he leave Kuwait by insisting that Israel first evacuate the West Bank and Gaza. Osama Bin Laden also invoked the Palestinian issue to justify 9-11. Iran has made the Palestinian issue its most important foreign policy priority since the Islamic Revolution of 1979.
The clever adoption of the Palestinian cause has made it difficult for peaceful Muslims to attack terrorist organizations such as Al-Qaeda. The real aim of organizations such as Al-Qaeda is not just the "liberation of Palestine" but the creation of a fundamentalist Muslim empire made up of every Muslim nation. This desire to create a Muslim empire is based on the delusion that modernity is a threat to Islam and the idea that the Muslim community has strayed from God and if they were to return to a strict interpretation of Islam that the problems in the Muslim world would be solved. It is this exact mentality spurned of paranoia, ignorance and fear that inspired and supported the Taliban and the creation of a medieval society in Afghanistan.
The Coalition rejects the urgent desire by extremist groups to create a strict Islamic empire as a justification for terrorism. The coalition rejects the use of terrorism to help Palestinians. The coalition rejects the use of terrorism under any circumstances and will challenge the terrorists' propaganda machines head on.

Developmental status of children Access to good-quality care and education programmes outside the home are important in providing children with the basic cognitive and language skills they need to flourish in school. Such programmes can also help foster social competency and emotional development. In fact, it is widely recognized that early childhood care and education form the foundation of a high-quality basic education. Questions on attendance in organized early childhood care and education were first collected in the birth registration and early learning module during the second round of MICS (MICS2). For the third round of MICS (MICS3), conducted mainly in 2005 and 2006, information about preschool attendance was again collected in the birth registration and early learning module. Beginning with the fourth round of MICS (MICS4), questions on attendance in early childhood care and education were included in the consolidated early childhood development module included in the questionnaire for children under 5. Mothers or primary caregivers are asked whether each child aged 36 to 59 months living in the household is currently attending any organized early learning or early childhood education programme, whether public or private, and for how many hours per week. In some cases, the question is customized to make specific reference to relevant country examples of early childhood education programmes. Early childhood development is multidimensional, encompassing several aspects of a child’s well-being: physical, social, emotional and mental. In general, development takes place in a series of predictable and common stages: Children become progressively more independent and learn increasingly advanced skills and capacities as they grow older. However, children develop at different speeds and may reach developmental milestones at different times. What is considered normal child development also varies across cultures and environments, since expectations and parenting strategies may differ not only among countries but also among cultural, ethnic or religious groups within the same country. In 2007, UNICEF commissioned a review of existing tests, measures and items used to establish the developmental status of children aged 0 to 6 years, with a specific focus on those tested cross-culturally. This work led to a recommendation to create a set of age-specific indicators in five developmental domains: motor, language, cognitive, social-emotional and learning. In early 2008, a validation study of the recommended items was conducted with the goal of producing a reliable and feasible set of items to be used in the MICS. The validation study was conducted in two countries: Jordan and the Philippines, in close collaboration with local UNICEF offices. Data were collected from approximately 900 children aged 3 to 6 years in each of the two countries, with an even distribution between boys and girls. Both urban and rural regions of each country were also represented. A subsample of the total was also used for reliability testing (both testretest and inter-rater reliability). The recommended set of questions was tested alongside several other validated tools, including, for example, the Early Development Instrument,4 and the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire.5 All items used in the study were translated into the appropriate local languages. A series of factor analyses were also conducted to detect the underlying factors and item integrity (using all variables from each of the various instruments). These factor analyses resulted in a long (48-item) and short (18-item) set of items covering six developmental domains: language, cognitive, physical, social, emotional and approaches to learning, with each demonstrating excellent reliability and validity. Items are based on benchmarks that children would be expected to have reached if they are developing like the majority of children of the same age. Following discussion and consultation between UNICEF and a broad group of experts, the 18-item draft early childhood development index (ECDI) was field tested in February 2009 in Mombasa, Kenya. After the field work experience in Kenya, further revisions were made to the draft index and the number of items was reduced from 18 to 10. The Formative Years by Lisa Grajewski, MA American psychologist and behaviorist, B.F. Skinner said, “Education is not just the filling of a pail; it is the lighting of a fire.” University Synagogue’s Pre-School has been lighting a fire in the minds and souls of PreSchool students since 2006. Now in its fifth year, the program has gone from being a pre-school at University Synagogue to University Synagogue’s Pre-School. Directed by award winning early childhood educator Heidi Kahn, the Pre-School has grown into a diverse consortium of programs for not only its Pre-School students but members of the students’ families and PreSchool faculty as well. Just as the formative years of a child count as some of the most important years, so too have the first five years of the Pre-School proven to be salient to its growth. Kahn and the faculty have nurtured the school and helped it develop and grow into a healthy place for children to learn, grow and thrive. Kahn takes a holistic approach to early childhood education. The environment at University Synagogue’s Pre-School is warm, nurturing and provides requirements necessary to build strong, early development; however, she ensures that the staff and families are educated as well. One of the new programs the Pre-School is involved in for the 2011 – 2012 school year is Irvine Unified School District’s School Readiness Program. A partnership between University Synagogue and IUSD, the program provides support and services to the PreSchool, the students and families, ensuring the children’s readiness for kindergarten. Some of the specifics of the program include: teacher training and support; classroom strategies designed to work with the routines and environment of children; individualized interventions to meet students’ and
families’ unique strengths and needs; and parent workshops ranging from kindergarten readiness to challenging behavior. Most recently, Sandy Avzaradel, M. Ed. (IUSD) and Haley Goldberg, MFT met with 40 of the Pre-School families, answering questions about kindergarten readiness and helping families navigate the transition from PreSchool to primary school. And there is also the traditional side of Pre-School. Kahn has creatively interwoven early childhood enrichments, including art, singalongs, storytelling, photography, creative dance, sports and even math and science into the daily curriculum. All of the Pre-School classes are taught by accredited, early childhood education staff, with special appearances made by December 2011 University Synagogue congregants and members of the greater Orange County community, which include other synagogues and Jewish organizations. Finally, in addition to the traditional developmental components of education, the Pre-School offers a warm and creative representation of the Jewish values and culture that provide its foundation. Regardless of the religion or culture of the student, everyone celebrates the Jewish holidays together in a way that is comfortable and welcoming. Understanding the importance of early childhood development and the formative years, the Pre-School also offers programs that are open to the public and provide outreach to every member of the student’s family and the greater community at large. The programs are designed to introduce the members and nonmembers to the environment and ethos of the Pre-School and build community within the framework of the Pre-School’s culture. Beginning at the age of three months, parents and their infants can join the Cuddle Club, a walking club that meets Wednesday mornings or join parents and toddlers in a warm and nurturing setting for Parent and Me. These programs also provide an opportunity for a child to make a comfortable transition into the academic environment, such as in the case of Nicole Green, who said, “Our experience at University Synagogue Preschool has been priceless. We have been at the school since our oldest daughter, Leah, was 6 months old. We participated in the Cuddle Club every week. It was wonderful! Leah got time to engage other babies, and I got time to engage other parents… As Leah grew into a toddler, we then participated in the weekly Parent and Me program… All of this great preparation made her transition into the two-year-old classroom nearly effortless last fall. Leah was surrounded by familiar faces and familiar routines, as now she would participate in her first classroom experience without me present three days a week. Yes, we had our days of separation sadness, which quickly became history as she realized she was still surrounded by people who loved her and cared for her and were really fun to be with… Now my youngest daughter Clara is 1½ years old and participating in the weekly Parent and Me program. I am once again amazed at how she has taken to the structure and music and crafts and snack time. I know she too will have a smooth transition into her independent class time next fall.” It is evident that all of the programs, from Cuddle Club to the Pre-School, provide an opportunity for parents to develop new friendships and for children to interact with children of similar age.” Within the community of families is a strong commitment and turnout by parents and family members. Parents and significant caregivers of students meet regularly to organize fundraisers for the school, support and promote programs, welcome new families and support Pre-School faculty. Andrea Norman, the mother of twin boys attending the Pre-School stated, “The experience [of having children in the school] inspired my volunteering as one of the Parent Committee presidents, so that I might be a small part of helping in providing the school and the teachers with the extras that are needed each year to give our children all that they do.” Nadine Dubery, a Pre-School parent, was recently pleasantly surprised by the dedication of parents, remarking, “You should know that this type of participation is unique and does not [always] happen at other preschools.” The dedication of faculty and staff is evident in the responses of parents. Norman went on to say, “University Pre-School has provided a safe, warm, loving, and creative environment in which my children have been nurtured for three years. They have grown and blossomed and love going to school.” For Dubery the Pre-School holds an extraordinary element. Her daughter Lili “just loves her teachers and her classroom, the yard and her new friends… each day is an awesome adventure in learning and becoming more self expressed for her… ” She went on to say, “Your [Heidi Kahn] leadership, love, warmth and energy are not taken for granted for even one second… We may have to adopt another child, so that we can continue coming to your pre-school when Lili is finished there!” Adding to the uniqueness of University Synagogue is the richness and diversity of students, family and faculty. Families represent almost every continent on the planet – a tribute to the openness and diversity of University Synagogue. And then there are the dozens of cultures across students and staff, creating an environment rich in cultural awareness and providing fodder for creatively educating the young minds and souls about the diverse world they live in. The first five years of life are formative – even a pre-school. It is important to have that guide or caregiver who can take one through developmental milestones, nurture, love, educate and discipline – sometimes all at once. GEORGE TOWN: The first five years of a child’s life often called the formative years, are absolutely critical for the development, performance and success of the child throughout his life, said Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

The Prime Minister’s wife said the importance of early childhood development had been acknowledged by economists, behavior scientists, educators, neuroscientists and biologists.
“The formative period was said to be the best window of opportunity that we must seize or we will forever lose the vast human potential that exists in these children,” she said in her speech at the opening of the International Conference on Early Childhood and Special Education (ICECSE), here yesterday.
She said recent neuroscience research shows that development of the brain over the first five years is more rapid, intensive and vulnerable to external influences or the environment.
“With the proper environmental stimulation, the child’s cognitive development can be developed early. For example, 80 per cent of the child’s intelligence at age 18 has been developed by the age of six,” she said.
Rosmah said from economic perspective, early childhood education and development was the foundation of quality human capital.
“Early childhood education is also said to have a snowballing effect in increasing the preparedness of a child to study,” she said.
Thus, Rosmah said, to promote early childhood education, Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) was initiated under the banner of Permata Negara.
She said the Permata Pintar, Permata Seni and Permata Insan were launched to complement the ECEC programme.
“I am pleased to announce that the Permata Pintar children have been doing the country proud,” she said.
Rosmah said they won gold and bronze medals at the third Apec Future Scientist Conference in Taipeh this year, one was selected to enter the Genius Olympiad competition in New York and another student had received a scholorship to join a course on theory of numbers at Johns Hopkins University next week.
“Just yesterday we were informed that the Permata Programme is shotlisted for best global education which will be announced at a summit to be held in New Delhi,” she said.

Developmental Milestones
Skills such as naming colors, showing affection, and hopping on one foot are called developmental milestones. Developmental milestones are things most children can do by a certain age. Children reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, behave, and move (like crawling, walking, or jumping).
As children grow into early childhood, their world will begin to open up. They will become more independent and begin to focus more on adults and children outside of the family. They will want to explore and ask about the things around them even more. Their interactions with family and those around them will help to shape their personality and their own ways of thinking and moving. During this stage, children should be able to ride a tricycle, use safety scissors, notice a difference between girls and boys, help to dress and undress themselves, play with other children, recall part of a story, and sing a song.

New research suggests prejudices may form at a much earlier age, but it also offers hope that biases can be unlearned
For more than four decades, the notion that racism and physical prejudice don’t fully develop in humans until the teen or adult years has been at the root of research into racism. Popular scientific belief had been that children, who only develop the ability to express racial preferences at around age 3, gradually develop those preferences over time and only cement them well into their teen years.
But new research not yet published by Mahzarin Banaji, a renowned Harvard University psychologist, brain researcher, and racism and physical prejudice expert, and colleagues suggests that even though they may not understand the “why’’ of their feelings, children exposed to racism tend to accept and embrace it as young as age 3, and in just a matter of days.
“We have known for a very long time that children process information differently than adults. That is a given,’’ says Banaji. “But what has changed, where racism and other prejudice are concerned, is that we had far over-calculated how long it takes for these traits to become imbedded in a child’s brain. It’s quite shocking really, but the gist of it is that 3- and 4-year-olds demonstrate the same level and type of bias as adults. This tells us that children ‘get it’ very, very quickly, and that it doesn’t require a mature level of cognition to form negative biases.’’
Banaji’s study, conducted with two Harvard peers, examined how children and adults identified ambiguously featured faces as happy (smiling) or angry (frowning). They showed 263 white children, between the ages of 3 and 14, a number of graphically drawn facial images in different skin tones from very light tan to brown, and asked them to describe them as happy or angry.

One part of the test showed the children a set of faces that were an “inconclusive’’ light tan color that could have represented a white person or a black person. In that segment, most of the children, without prompting, described the faces as black, and also, no matter the facial expression in the drawing, as angry.
Conversely, those faces the children said they believed to be white - even the faces bearing frowns - were almost exclusively described as happy.
When the white children were asked to compare white faces with Asian faces, the outcome was the same: The Asian faces, and the faces that they perceived to be Asian, were described as angry. And the white faces were almost exclusively happy, the children said.
A group of black children tested in the study revealed equal favorability and negativity biases, regardless of whether they perceived the test faces to be black or white. In other words, the black children showed no pro-black or pro-white bias.
So the $64,000 question: Will the physical prejudices young children learn early in life stick with them into adulthood?
Maybe not.
“As children age, let us say past 10, environment begins to play a tremendous role in how they perceive in-group and out-group people - people who look like them, and people who do not,’’ Banaji says. “So the good news is that even a child whose parents make no conscious effort to teach [him] not to be prejudiced can shed that prejudice if he finds himself in a diverse enough place and consistently observes in-group and out-group people interacting positively and as equals.’’
“The odds of aging children losing or at the very least lessening their bias against out-group people are only increased, of course, when responsible adults in their lives consciously place their children in a position to see different groups interacting as equals,’’ Banaji adds.
“It is not the fault of the children that they grow up to see a majority of power and influence concentrated among one race,’’ she says. “So if we don’t act in their lives, as they age, to show context to that imbalance, they may continue to believe that one group is better or worse than the other, based on nothing more than color, features, or expressions.’’

[2] Here is a Commentary on Bountiful Trees and Vegetables God (YHWH) has provided for mankind, specifically the milk thistle, Silybum marianum, colloquially identified as Carduus marianus, known as milk thistle, is an annual or biannual plant of the Asteraceae family. This fairly typical thistle has red to purple flowers and shiny pale green leaves with white veins. Originally a native of Southern Europe through to Asia, it is now found throughout the world. The medicinal parts of the plant are the ripe seeds.
Common names for this species include blessed milk thistle, Marian Thistle, Mary Thistle, Saint Mary's Thistle, Mediterranean Milk Thistle, Variegated Thistle and Scotch Thistle.
Description
It grows 30 to 200 cm tall, having an overall conical shape with a approx. 160 cm max. diameter base. The stem is grooved and more or less cottony, and with the largest specimens the 'trunk' is hollow.
The leaves are oblong to lanceolate. They are either lobate or pinnate, with spiny edges. They are hairless, shiny green, with milk-white veins.
The flower heads are 4 to 12 cm long and wide, of red-purple colour. They flower from June to August in the North or December to February in the Southern Hemisphere ( Summer through Autumn ).
The bracts are hairless, with triangular, spine-edged appendages, tipped with a stout yellow spine.
The achenes are black, with a simple long white pappus, surrounded by a yellow basal ring.[1]
Medicinal uses
In herbalism, it is used in cases of liver diseases (cirrhosis, jaundice and hepatitis), gallbladder disease,[citation needed] and is claimed to protect the liver against poisons. Silibinin (syn. silybin, sylimarin I) is a hepatoprotective (antihepatotoxic), antioxidant (radical-scavenging agent), thus stabilizing and protecting the membrane lipids of the hepatocytes (liver cells). Silicristin inhibits the enzymes peroxidase and lipoxygenase. Silidianin is a plant growth regulator. A 2000 study of such claims by the AHRQ concluded that "clinical efficacy of milk thistle is not clearly established". However a more recent study did show activity against liver cancer cells in vitro.[2] A 2005 Cochrane Review considered thirteen randomized clinical trials which assessed milk thistle in 915 patients with alcoholic and/or hepatitis B or C virus liver diseases. They question the beneficial effects of milk thistle for patients with alcoholic and/or hepatitis B or C virus liver diseases and highlight the lack of high-quality evidence to support this intervention. Cochrane concluded that more good quality randomized clinical trials on milk thistle versus placebo are needed.
Its potent extract is used in medicine under the name silymarin (a flavonolignane complex consisting of silibinin A and B/silybin/silymarin I, isosilibinin A and B, silicristin/silymarin II, silidianin). Silibinin is used against poisoning by amanitas, such as the Death Cap (Amanita phalloides)[3] as well as in cerebral edema and acute hepatitis therapy.
Mary thistle has been grown as a medicinal plant in monastery gardens since ancient times. The seed is the part of the plant used medicinally.
Silybum marianum extract has antifungal effects, preventing the growth of dermatophyte more than saprophyte fungi.[4]
One pilot study showed that milk thistle may be as effective as fluoxetine in treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder.[5]
Where it grows
Possibly native near the coast of south east England. It has been widely introduced outside its natural range, for example into Iran, North America, Australia, and New Zealand where it is considered an invasive weed. Cultivated fields for the production of raw-material for the pharmaceutical industry exists on a larger scale in Austria (Region Waldviertel), Germany, Hungary, Poland, China and Argentina. In Europe it is sown yearly in March-April. The harvest in 2 steps (cutting and threshing) takes place in August, about 2–3 weeks after the flowering.
Animal toxicity
Due to potassium nitrate content, the plant has been found to be toxic to cattle and sheep. When potassium nitrate is eaten by ruminants, the bacteria in animal's stomach breaks the chemical down, producing a nitrite ion. Nitrite ion then combines with hemoglobin to produce methaemoglobin, blocking the transport of oxygen. The result is a form of oxygen deprivation. [1]
Other uses
The extract is now also being used in beverages as an energy enhancing agent, as exemplified by Rockstar Energy Drink. { } The thistle is the unofficial floral emblem of Scotland.

INTRODUCTION:
Abraham had two sons, Isaac by his wife Sarah, and Ishmael by his wife's servant, Hagar the concubine or secondary wife. His youngest son, Isaac, was the one through whom the everlasting covenant was to be established as recorded at Genesis 9:16, "And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth." (Authorized King James Bible; AV); and Genesis 17:7, " And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee." (AV); and Genesis 17:19, "And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.' (AV).
However, the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael told , Hagar the concubine or secondary wife, his wife's servant at Genesis 16:11, "And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction." (AV); and Genesis 17:20 says, "And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation." (AV). So Ishmael was to become a great nation, but the everlasting covenant was to come through his half brother's line and not his.
Now, Ishmael had twelve sons as recorded at Genesis 25:12-16, "Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham: 13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam, 14 And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa, 15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah: 16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations." (AV).
Ishmael grew up a true child of the desert, wild and wayward, and not interested in spiritual things as was his half brother Isaac.
ISHMAEL'S LIFE:
The Concise Bible Dictionary says, <<" Son of Abraham and Hagar the bondmaid of Sarah. Before he was born, when Hagar ran away because of the severity of her mistress, the angel of the Lord appeared to her, and told her to return to her mistress: her seed should be numberless, and she was to call her son's name Ishmael, which signifies 'El shall hear.' He would be a wild man, his hand would be against every man, and every man's hand against him. Abraham prayed that Ishmael might live before God, but typically he represents the seed of Abraham according to the flesh, hence though God answered that He would bless Ishmael, and multiply him exceedingly, he should also beget twelve princes, and God would make him a great nation; yet the covenant should be established with Isaac. When Ishmael was thirteen years old Abraham circumcised him, and all the men of his house. In this act Abraham acknowledged in faith that the blessing asked for his natural seed could not be had through the strength of the flesh: all the mercies of God are secured in resurrection.
At the 'great feast' when Isaac, the child born after the Spirit, was weaned, Ishmael mocked, and Sarah besought Abraham to cast out both mother and son. This was grievous to Abraham, but God, having approved the suggestion, he rose early in the morning, and providing them with some bread and a bottle of water he sent them away. The water was soon consumed, and Hagar in despair placed Ishmael under a shrub, and departed so as not to see him die. The angel of God called to her, shewed her a well, and the child was saved. God was with the lad, for he was the seed of Abraham; he dwelt in the wilderness and became an archer. At first he was located in the wilderness of Beer-sheba and afterwards at Paran, a region between Canaan and mount Sinai. His mother chose a woman of Egypt for his wife. His twelve sons are recorded, and their 'towns' and 'castles,' or encampments, according to their nations, are spoken of. HAGAR THE CONCUBINE OR SECONDARY WIFE THE MOTHER OF ISHMAEL:
Let's look at the life of the mother is Ishmael the concubine or secondary wife, the servant of Abraham's wife Sarah, so as to better understand why he was conceived and later sent away. Easton's Revised Bible Dictionary says, <<" Hagar, Flight, or, according to others, stranger, an Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid #Ge 16:1 21:9,10 whom she gave to Abraham (q.v.) as a secondary wife #Ge 16:2 When she was about to become a mother she fled from the cruelty of her mistress, intending apparently to return to her relatives in Egypt, through the desert of Shur, which lay between. Wearied and worn she had reached the place she distinguished by the name of Beer-lahai-roi ("the well of the visible God"), where the angel of the Lord appeared to her. In obedience to the heavenly visitor she returned to the tent of Abraham, where her son Ishmael was born, and where she remained #Ge 16:16 till after the birth of Isaac, the space of fourteen years. Sarah after this began to vent her dissatisfaction both on Hagar and her child. Ishmael's conduct was insulting to Sarah, and she insisted that he and his mother should be dismissed. This was accordingly done, although with reluctance on the part of Abraham #Ge 21:14 They wandered out into the wilderness, where Ishmael, exhausted with his journey and faint from thirst, seemed about to die. Hagar "lifted up her voice and wept," and the angel of the Lord, as before, appeared unto her, and she was comforted and delivered out of her distresses #Ge 21:18,19 Ishmael afterwards established himself in the wilderness of Paran, where he married an Egyptian #Ge 21:20,21 "Hagar" allegorically represents the Jewish church #Ga 4:24 in bondage to the ceremonial law; while "Sarah" represents the Christian church, which is free." WHY THE DISMISSAL OF HAGAR?
Let's look at the facts as many do NOT understand why Hagar and her son, Ishmael, were dismissed from the household of Abraham. Let's see what the Commentary on the Old Testament, 1973, has to say, <<"A year later Isaac was born; Ishmael was now 14. (Ge 16:16; 21:5) Five years after that, in 1913 B.C.E., on the day of Isaac's being weaned, Ishmael was caught "poking fun" at his younger half brother. (Ge 21:8, 9) This was no innocent child's play on the part of Ishmael. Rather, as implied by the next verse in the account, it may have involved a taunting of Isaac over heirship. The apostle Paul says these events were "a symbolic drama" and shows that the mistreatment of Isaac by the half-blooded Egyptian Ishmael was persecution. Hence, this was the beginning of the foretold 400 years of Israel's affliction that ended with deliverance from Egyptian bondage in 1513 B.C.E.-Ga 4:22-31; Ge 15:13; Ac 7:6; see ISAAC.
Ishmael's demonstration of scorn toward Isaac led to the dismissal of him and his mother from Abraham's household, but not without provisions for their journey. Abraham "took bread and a skin water bottle and gave it to Hagar, setting it upon her shoulder, and the child, and then dismissed her." (Ge 21:14) Some have interpreted this to mean that Ishmael, now 19 years old, was also placed on the back of Hagar, and indeed this is the way some translations read. (JB, Mo, Bagster's LXX) Certain scholars, however, consider the phrase "setting it upon her shoulder" as only parenthetical, inserted to explain how the bread and water were carried, and so, if this phrase is placed in parentheses or set off by commas, the difficulty is removed. Professors Keil and Delitzsch assert that the expression "and the child" depends upon the sentence's principal verb "took," not on the verb "gave" or the word "setting." This tie-in of "the child" with "took" is made by the conjunction "and." The thought, therefore, is this: Abraham took bread and water and gave them to Hagar (placing them on her shoulder) and took the child and also gave it to her"[source - Commentary on the Old Testament, 1973, Vol. I, The First Book of Moses, pp. 244, 245]>>.
And,
Cook's Commentary says, <<" Certain Targums, as well as the Syriac Peshitta, at Genesis 21:9, give Ishmael's remarks the sense of "deriding." Concerning tsa·chaq', "It probably means in this passage, as it has generally been understood, 'mocking laughter.' As Abraham had laughed for joy concerning Isaac, and Sarah had laughed incredulously, so now Ishmael laughed in derision, and probably in a persecuting and tyrannical spirit." Deciding the matter, the inspired apostle Paul clearly shows that Ishmael's treatment of Isaac was affliction, persecution, not childlike play. (Ga 4:29) Certain commentators, in view of Sarah's insistence, in the next verse (Ge 21:10), that "the son of this slave girl is not going to be an heir with my son, with Isaac," suggest that Ishmael (14 years Isaac's senior) perhaps quarreled and taunted Isaac with regard to heirship." GREED ON THE PART OF MANY OF TODAY'S ISHMAELITES:
Just as their ancestor, Ishmael, was a wild man as brought out by his name which meant, <<" name Ishmael, which signifies 'El shall hear.' He would be a wild man, his hand would be against every man, and every man's hand against him. This fact was noted by an Australian newspaper as follows, <<"" Did you know that 90-95% of the conflicts in the world today are Muslims fighting non-muslims or each other?
Islam is intolerant of other religions, so much so that Christians in Nigeria, Sudan and middle eastern countries are killed for practicing their religion. Muslims are also responsible for burning down their churches. Sydney has recently seen an attack on four churches for similar reasons. (December 16, 2005) How can we tolerate such intolerance?" Now some will say, not all Muslims are Ishmaelites which is true; however, most of those now being greedy and causing world turmoil are descendents of Ishmael.
Let's look at the facts, Many in Islam hold the belief in ERROR put forth by greedy Ishmalites, that hold over 98 percent of the entire middle east, yet are so greedy they do not want their brother tribe, the Isralites, the descendents of Isaac, to occupy the less than 2 percent given them by the true God (YHWH) of Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael that Ishmael. Why? Simply, they do NOT want to recognize who really was the promised seed; whereas, in reality it was Isaac as made clear at Genesis 17:19-21, "And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year." (AV). So this scripture makes it clear that Isaac is the line through which the covenant is made, and NOT Ishmael, who was only stated to become a 'great nation.'
No where is this fact more obvious than with respect the Israel-Lebanon conflict of July/August 2006. Greed and hate is at the root of this turmoil between Israel-Lebanon, and it is greed of members Islam who have the spirit of Ishmael in them.
CONCLUSION AND THE BIG QUESTION:
Now the question is why do the greedy Ishmaelites have so much hate for their brother tribe, the Israelites, and so much desire to destroy world tranquility; whereas, they should have a love for their brother tribe, the Israelites, the descendents of Abraham through Isaac and the tribe with which the everlasting covenant was made, and should want peace? At present, many of these greedy Ishmaleites, I am referring only to the greedy ones,falsely claim they have no jobs/employment and blame it on their brother tribe, the Israelites; whereas, the blame actually belongs on the greedy Ishmaleites who would rather spend their time hating and their money on implements of violence instead using their time and resources for the setting up businesses and factories to provide employment. Something is wrong with them for letting greed destroy common sense and a chance to progress, but then they are following in the path of their ancestor, Ishmael.
Why are they so greedy and why do they love violence and putting others down instead of tranquility and friendly relationships in keeping with what Jesus (Yeshua) said at Matthew 22:37-40, "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." (Authorized King James Bible; AV); and Matthew 5:43, " Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy." (AV); and Matthew 19:19, "Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." (AV); and Matthew 22:39, " And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." (AV); and Matthew 12:31, "And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." (AV); and Romans 13:9, "For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." (AV); Galatians 5:14, " For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." (AV); and James 2:8, "If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:" (AV).
