Mahmoud Al-Masri: We must all make an effort for the sake of our country, because if Egypt rises and the Syrian revolution prevails – I swear that this will be the end of Israel, Allah willing.
The Zionist entity has become nervous about us for a simple reason: They cannot forget the utter defeat they suffered in the 1973 war. If some of the superpowers had not intervened to stop that war – if President Sadat had been allowed to continue – it would have been the end of Israel. The truth about Aurangzeb

FACT, the Trust which I head, is holding an exhibition on 'Aurangzeb as he was according to Mughal documents', from February 16 to 20 at New Delhi's Habitat Center, the Palm Court Gallery, from 10 am to 9 pm.
Why an exhibition on Aurangzeb, some may ask. Firstly, I have been a close student of Indian history, and one of its most controversial figures has been Aurangzeb (1658-1707). It is true that under him the Mughal empire reached its zenith, but Aurangzeb was also a very cruel ruler  some might even say monstrous.
What are the facts? Aurangzeb did not just build an isolated mosque on a destroyed temple, he ordered all temples destroyed, among them the Kashi Vishwanath temple, one of the most sacred places of Hinduism, and had mosques built on a number of cleared temple sites. Other Hindu sacred places within his reach equally suffered destruction, with mosques built on them. A few examples: Krishna's birth temple in Mathura; the rebuilt Somnath temple on the coast of Gujarat; the Vishnu temple replaced with the Alamgir mosque now overlooking Benares; and the Treta-ka-Thakur temple in Ayodhya. The number of temples destroyed by Aurangzeb is counted in four, if not five figures. Aurangzeb did not stop at destroying temples, their users were also wiped out; even his own brother Dara Shikoh was executed for taking an interest in Hindu religion; Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur was beheaded because he objected to Aurangzeb's forced conversions.
Yet, Percival Spear, co-author with Romila Thapar of the prestigious A History of India (Penguin), writes: 'Aurangzeb's supposed intolerance is little more than a hostile legend based on isolated acts such as the erection of a mosque on a temple site in Benares.' L'histoire de l'Inde moderne (Fayard), the French equivalent of Percival Spear's history of India, praises Aurangzeb and says, 'He has been maligned by Hindu fundamentalists'. Even Indian politicians are ignorant of Aurangzeb's evil deeds. Nehru might have known about them, but for his own reasons he chose to keep quiet and instructed his historians to downplay Aurangzeb's destructive drive and instead praise him as a benefactor of arts.
Since then six generations of Marxist historians have done the same and betrayed their allegiance to truth. Very few people know for instance that Aurangzeb banned any kind of music and that painters had to flee his wrath and take refuge with some of Rajasthan's friendly maharajahs.
Thus, we thought we should get at the root of the matter. History (like journalism) is about documentation and first-hand experience. We decided to show Aurangzeb according to his own documents. There are an incredible number of farhans, original edicts of Aurangzeb hand-written in Persian, in India's museums, particularly in Rajasthan, such as the Bikaner archives. It was not always easy to scan them, we encountered resistance, sometimes downright hostility and we had to go once to the chief minister to get permission. Indeed, the director of Bikaner archives told us that in 50 years we were the first ones asking for the farhans dealing with Aurangzeb's destructive deeds. Then we asked painters from Rajasthan to reproduce in the ancient Mughal style some of the edicts: the destruction of Somnath temple; the trampling of Hindus protesting jaziya tax by Aurangzeb's elephants; or the order from Aurangzeb prohibiting Hindus to ride horses and palanquins; or the beheading of Teg Bahadur and Dara Shikoh.
People might say: 'OK, this is all true, Aurangzeb was indeed a monster, but why rake up the past, when we have tensions between Muslims and Hindus today?' There are two reasons for this exhibition. The first is that no nation can move forward unless its children are taught to look squarely at their own history, the good and the bad, the evil and the pure. The French, for instance, have many dark periods in their history, more recently some of the deeds they did during colonisation in North Africa or how they collaborated with the Nazis during the Second World War and handed over French Jews who died in concentration camps (the French are only now coming to terms with it).
The argument that looking at one's history will pit a community against the other does not hold either: French Catholics and Protestants, who share a very similar religion, fought each other bitterly. Catholics brutally murdered thousands of Protestants in the 18th century; yet today they live peacefully next to each other. France fought three wars with Germany in the last 150 years, yet they are great friends today.
Let Hindus and Muslims then come to terms with what happened under Aurangzeb, because Muslims suffered as much as Hindus. It was not only Shah Jahan or Dara Shikoh who were murdered, but also the forefathers of today's Indian Muslims who have been converted at 90 per cent. Aurangzeb was the Hitler, the asura of medieval India. No street is named after Hitler in the West, yet in New Delhi we have Aurangzeb Road, a constant reminder of the horrors Aurangzeb perpetrated against Indians, including his own people.
Finally, Aurangzeb is very relevant today because he thought that Sunni Islam was the purest form of his religion and he sought to impose it with ruthless efficiency -- even against those of his own faith, such as his brother. Aurangzeb clamped down on the more syncretic, more tolerant Islam, of the Sufi kind, which then existed in India. But he did not fully succeed. Four centuries later, is he going to have the last word? I remember, when I started covering Kashmir in the late '70s, that Islam had a much more open face. The Kashmir Muslim, who is also a descendant of converted Hindus, might have thought that Allah was the only true God, but he accepted his Kashmiri Pandit neighbour, went to his or her marriage, ate in his or her house and the Hindu in turn went to the mosque. Women used to walk with open faces, watch TV, films.
Then the shadow of Aurangzeb fell on Kashmir and the hardline Sunnis came from Pakistan and Afghanistan: cinemas were banned, the burqa imposed, 400,000 Kashmiri Pandits were chased out of Kashmir through violence and became refugees in their own land and the last Sufi shrine of Sharar-e-Sharif was burnt to the ground (I was there). Today the Shariat has been voted in Kashmir, a state of democratic, secular India, UP's Muslims have applauded, and the entire Indian media which went up in flames when the government wanted Vande Mataram to be sung, kept quiet. The spirit of Aurangzeb seems to triumph.
But what we need today in India -- and indeed in the world -- is a Dara Shikoh, who reintroduces an Islam which, while believing in the supremacy of its Prophet, not only accepts other faiths, but is also able to see the good in each religion, study them, maybe create a synthesis. Islam needs to adapt its scriptures which were created nearly 15 centuries ago for the people and customs of these times, but which are not necessarily relevant in some of their injunctions today. Kabir, Dara Shikoh and some of the Sufi saints attempted this task, but failed. Aurangzeb knew what he was doing when he had his own brother beheaded. And we know what we are saying when we say that this exhibition is very relevant to today's India.
May the Spirit of Dara Shikoh come back to India and bring back Islam to a more tolerant human face.

Arabs Brutally Attack US Yeshiva Student in Italy

A gang of Arabs brutally attacked an American yeshiva student visiting with his family in Venice, Italy, in what local community leaders said was a rare instance of anti-Semitism.
The student was knocked unconscious on Tuesday when he strolled late at night in the center of the city. A band of 15 Arab youth pounced on him, dragged him into a dark corner and pummeled him, using sharp weapons.
The student lost consciousness, and the attackers fled when a passerby spotted them and called police and medics.
The police are investigating, but have but have not caught the attackers.
The Milan-based Center for Jewish Documentation's Observatory on Anti-Jewish Prejudice reported last month that the number of anti-Semitic episodes in the country soared last year.
The incidents ranged from street insults and swastika graffiti to physical aggression.
''We observed approximately 70 cases so far this year, most of them graffiti and online attacks, over 40% more than last year,'' said Observatory researcher Stefano Gatti. ''The boom might be due partly to more efficient data-gathering, but the episodes have undeniably increased,�  he added.
Gatti also pointed out that Italian pundits and politicians ''such as Silvio Berlusconi, Beppe Grillo or Piergiorgio Odifreddi'' are now writing discriminatory posts and telling racist jokes. ''Making certain issues seem normal, even funny, is one of the root causes of the rise in anti-Semitic episodes in Italy,'' Gatti said.

In today´s world, when terrorist attacks and suicide bombing has already turned into potential threat to global peace, a valid question is circulating in the minds of the people on the influence of Sharia Law on Muslim mind, in giving them instigation towards Jihad and killing Jews and Christians for attaining heaven and 72 virgins.
Many a times I said, any religion promising 72 virgins in exchange of murder or genocide, is for sure, religion of bad taste. I always fail to understand, why a man should turn mad for getting 72 virgins? Is it not a kind of mental perversion? Moreover, when Qur´an promises virgins and all comforts for men in the heaven, it completely ignores the rewards for women. Why? Any special reason? Does Islam consider women as mere tools or something even worst?
Clergies in Muslim countries not only narrate the comfort in heaven with tunnels of wine and 72 virgins, who will get back their virginity after each of sexual intercourse, but also gives promise of Gilman [young boys] for those men, who loves homosexuality instead of regular physical relations. Isn’t it too much?
God is not that selfish or wrong-doer who will only give virgins, young boys and every other comfort for the men in the heaven while completely ignoring the mere existence of women.
In Muslim nations, especially during Friday prayers, clergies will describe thousands and millions of years in hell for those, who will oppose Sharia Law. They also narrate imaginary stories of repression on Prophet of Islam by Jews and Christians. I heard many a times during my childhood how graveyards of Muslims were destroyed by Israel and luxurious hotels were constructed on them. Each time, when I asked my father about this, he used to say, "Do not trust these words, look into world realities".
My father has great influence on my mind. Because of his personal interest in literature and global issues, I got the opportunity of reading the Holy Bible right during my childhood. But, I had to wait the touch the Holy Torah, almost 40 years, because in Bangladesh, Torah is a book of taboo. No one dares to utter the very word Torah, although according to Qur’ân, if anyone will ignore Torah and Prophet Moses, he or she will no more be a Muslim.
Why Bangladeshi clergies made Torah and Jews a serious taboo to the innocent and mostly uneducated people? When I got the opportunity of reading Torah, I immediately got the answer. Anyone, who will have the opportunity of reading the Torah, he or she will immediately get the window of intellect opened to make judgments over various divine and worldly issues, including many criminal interpretations of Qur´an as well as false propaganda by the Muslim clergies.
In recent years, several Islamist and ultra Islamist groups are continuing their efforts and even notoriety demanding establishment of Sharia rule in Muslim nations. With 150 million populations, where more than 84 per cent Muslims, Bangladesh regularly witnesses such actions of various groups, mostly demanding Sharia law to replace the existing rule of law as well as democracy. There are many Islamist groups like for example, Hizb Ut Tahrir, who openly denounce democracy and electoral system, saying it is the "law of satan" [law or evil]. Some major political parties in Bangladesh too, such as Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Jatiyo Party etc are demanding Sharia law. Even just before the postponed general election in 2007, present ruling party in Dhaka signed a secret treaty with a notorious Islamist party named Khelafat Majlish, with the promise of establishing Sharia law in Bangladesh.
In recent time, political Islam is backed by the demand of establishment of Sharia law. Crook Islamist leaders believe that, it is the only easiest way for them in capturing power by giving the promise of 72 virgins to innocent and mostly ignorant people, in accepting this rule, although most of those people are not aware at all, how basic human rights are greatly violated in many of the nations practicing Sharia law.
If we look into, for example Iran, where Sharia law is in practice, social perversion is increasing even faster, but now under the veils and turbans. In Saudi Arabia, most of the homes of normal Arabs or even the palaces of Kings are nothing but worst center of various forms of sexual perversions. Arab Muslims mostly do not bear any respect for women in their mind. The only thing they pretend to respect females in public is because of stern punishment, and not for any other reason.
And, we all know the cases of sexual genital mutilation of women in several Muslim countries in Africa and elsewhere. Before any women reach her age of 10, clitoris are mutilated so that she loses the sense of any sexual comfort in entire life. By doing so, the men dominated society turn the women into mere sexual tool of comfort for them. Nothing more!
Genital mutilation of women is also conducted under the garb of Sharia law. In fact, Muslim men use this law, for total repression of women and seizing their basic fundamental rights as well treating them as almost sub-human beings.
Now let us also try to know, what Sharia law is. Sharia law is the instrument by which Political Islam seeks to control the Muslim world. Whilst the Sharia may have been inspired by the Holy Qur´an, it has developed and evolved through time and through the efforts of men. The Sharia should be opposed for its imposition of theocracy over democracy, its abuse of human rights, its institutionalized discrimination, its denial of human dignity and individual autonomy, its punishment of alternative lifestyle choices, and for the severity of its punishments.
In the west, in countries that have a sizable Muslim population, there have been calls for the Sharia to be adopted for the Muslim community. These calls should be vigorously opposed; the Sharia conflicts with many basic human values, such as equality before the law, that punishment should be commensurate with the crime, and that the law must be based on the will of the people. The Sharia as it developed in the first few centuries of Islam incorporated many pre-Islamic Middle-Eastern misogynist and tribal customs and traditions. The Sharia was developed not only from the Holy Qur´an but incorporates legal principles from other sects. We may ask how a law whose elements were first laid down over 1,000 years ago can possibly be relevant in the 21st century. The Sharia reflects the social and economic conditions at the time of the Abbasids and has become further and further out of touch with later social, economic, technological, cultural and moral developments. The principles of the Sharia are inimical to moral progress, humanity and civilized values.
When Political Islam really does advocate jihad to achieve world domination, then anyone deeply concerned with humanity and human rights will be critical. Of all the existing ideologies, Political Islam remains the greatest danger to humanity. Political Islam has been neither tamed nor moderated by progressive forces. He has written a number of books on various issues. His latest book titled 'Injustice and Jihad' was published in October 2007. Italian publication house Neftasia Editore has published Choudhury's book titled 'Non Sono Colpevole' in May 2008.
Choudhury is writing a book titled 'Inside Madrassa', which contains descriptive and elaborate information on condition of Madrassas in Bangladesh, Pakistan and other Muslim nations. This book is a result of comprehensive research by Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury for several years.
In today's world, Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury is perhaps the most quoted Bangladeshi journalist in the international media. You will never read a book like it. This book is a take no prisoners, no political correctness examination of a very great, evil, political, military ideology – Islam masquerading as a religion.The front and back covers are grotesque but reality. Hanging is a very gruesome way to die. The humane method to hang someone (of course there is no humanity in hanging) is to break their neck by opening a trap door. This ensures instant death with little or no suffering. The Iranian woman on the cover is strangled to death by a rope attached around her neck. Can you imagine choking to death hanging in midair at the end of a rope – a process that would take 15 to 30 minutes. This is Islam in action.
WHY I WROTE THE BOOK
My mother – in – law’s best friend’s son (25 years) who worked at the Twin Towers had a day off from work scheduled for 9/11. Late at night 9/10, he received a call from an associate who had taken ill and asked if he wouldn’t mind covering the next day and in return he would trade his day off the following week. He left for work at 6:00 am on September 11 and was dead by 9:30 am. There must be dozens of stories just like this. I had 2 uncles who fought against Hitler. It was a horrid experience that scarred them both mentally and physically for life. Another Neda was Dina Parnabi an Iranian high school student,
accused of smuggling forbidden literature and criticising the
regime in her talks with her classmates. She was hanged on the
10th of July 1984 in a Teheran prison. The hanging was done in
private andafter the execution was over, her body was stripped,
washed and delivered for dissection at medical school.
16 year old Atefeh Rajabi was hanged in public in the town of
NekaAtefeh. Atefeh was executed for “engaging in acts
incompatible with chastity.�  At the place of execution in the
town’s square, the judge personally put the rope around the
girl’s neck and gave the signal to the crane operator to begin
her hanging. Witnesses reported that she begged for mercy
and had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the execution
truck. Judge Haji Rezaie said he was pleased to hang her and
is quoted as saying, "Society has to be kept safe from acts
against public morality." Her body was left dangling from the
crane for some time so people could see what happened to
teenagers who committed acts incompatible with chastity.
187 of these first Neda’s were under the age of 18, with 9
girls under the age of 13. The youngest girl executed was
just 10 years old. Thirty two of these women were reported to
have been pregnant at the time of their execution. Many of
those executed were high school and college students. Hanging
is the most common method of execution for women, although
some are shot. Men and women were hanged in large groups
in Tehran prisons from cranes and forklift trucks. Each crane
jib or forklift had a wooden or steel beam to which the noose
was attached and when the preparations were complete, the
prisoners were simply hoisted into the air.
Under Revolutionary law, young girls who were sentenced to
death could not be executed if they were still virgins.
Thus, they were "married off" to Revolutionary Guards and
prison officials in temporary marriages and then raped before
their execution, to prevent them going to heaven. The Mullahs
believed that these women were ungodly and did not deserve
paradise in the next life and that if they were deprived of their
virginity, it would ensure that they went to hell. Therefore, on
the night prior to execution, the condemned girl was injected
witha tranquilliser and then raped by her guard(s). After the
execution,the religious judge at the prison would write out a
marriage certificateand send it to the victim's family along with
a box of sweets.

BAUCHI, Nigeria (AP) — Gunmen attacked a camp for a construction company in rural northern Nigeria, killing a guard and kidnapping seven foreign workers from Britain, Greece, Italy Lebanon and the Philippines, authorities said Sunday, in the biggest kidnapping yet in a region under attack by Islamic extremists.
The attack Saturday night happened in Jama'are, a town in a rural portion of Bauchi state. There, the gunmen first attacked a local prison, burning two police trucks, Bauchi state police spokesman Hassan Muhammed told The Associated Press.

The gunmen then targeted a worker's camp for Lebanese construction company Setraco, which is in the area building a road, Muhammed said. The gunmen shot dead a guard at the camp before kidnapping the foreign workers, the spokesman said.
"The gunmen came with explosives, which they used to break some areas," Muhammed said. He did not elaborate and an AP journalist could not immediately reach the town, which is about 200 kilometers (125 miles) north of the state capital, Bauchi.
One British citizen, one Greek, one Italian, three Lebanese and one Filipino were kidnapped, said Adamu Aliyu, the chairman of the local government area that encompasses Jama'are. He said one of the hostages was a woman, while the rest were men. He initially had said four of the hostages were Lebanese and blamed the confusion on incorrect information he received from his staff.
Italian news agency ANSA later said authorities confirmed an Italian had been kidnapped in the attack. It quoted Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi saying the safety of the hostage must be given "absolute priority."
Greece confirmed one of their citizens was abducted. A statement from Greece's Foreign Ministry said authorities had a plane on standby to send investigators to Nigeria and that its foreign minister had been in contact with Terzi.
"Two Greek police officers, liaisons in Greece's Nigerian Embassy, are in contact with their colleagues of the countries involved and the Nigerian authorities," the statement said. Britain's Foreign Office said Sunday it was looking into the kidnappings.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the abductions, though Nigeria's predominantly Muslim north has been under attack by the radical Islamic sect known as Boko Haram in the last year and a half. The country's weak central government has been unable to stop the group's bloody guerrilla campaign of shootings and bombings. The sect is blamed for killing at least 792 people in 2012 alone, according to an AP count.
Boko Haram, whose name means "Western education is sacrilege" in the Hausa language of Nigeria's north, has demanded the release of all its captive members and called for strict Shariah law to be implemented across the entire country. The sect has killed both Christians and Muslims in their attacks, as well as soldiers and security forces.
The group, which speaks to journalists in telephone conference calls at times of its choosing, could not be immediately reached for comment Sunday. Foreigners, long abducted by militant groups and criminal gangs for ransom in Nigeria's oil-rich southern delta, have become increasingly targeted in Nigeria's north as the violence has grown. However, abductions of foreigners in the north have seen hostages regularly killed.
In May, gunmen in Kaduna state shot and killed a Lebanese and a Nigerian construction worker, while kidnapping another Lebanese employee. Later that month, kidnappers shot a German hostage dead during a rescue operation.
Gunmen who authorities say have links to Boko Haram also kidnapped an Italian and a British man last year in northern Kebbi State who were later killed during a rescue operation by Nigerian soldiers backed up by British special forces. The sect later denied taking part in that abduction, which left Italian authorities angry that the nation was not consulted before the failed rescue attempt.
In December, more than 30 attackers stormed a house in the northern Nigeria state of Kaduna, killing two people and kidnapping a French engineer working on a renewable energy project there. Chinese construction workers also have been killed by gunmen around Maiduguri, the northeastern city in Nigeria where Boko Haram first began.
In the most recent attack, assailants attacked North Korean doctors working for a hospital in Yobe state, stabbing two to death and beheading a third. No group claimed responsibility for that attack. Foreign embassies in Nigeria have issued travel warnings regarding northern Nigeria for months. Worries about abductions have increased in recent weeks with the French military intervention in Mali, as its troops and Malian soldiers try to root out Islamic fighters who took over that nation's north in the months following a military coup. Last week, the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, put out a warning following the killings of polio workers in the northern city of Kano and the killing of the North Korean doctors.

Resistance to a new bill aimed at limiting foreign law in Pennsylvania courts serves as a case study of how Islamists and their allies operate: peddling falsehoods about Shari'a, painting Muslims as victims, and denying that anyone seeks to institutionalize aspects of Islamic law — even as they vigorously promote that very agenda. With similar legislation being debated across the U.S., understanding their tactics is critical.
 
At issue in Pennsylvania is House Bill (HB) 2029, which stipulates that "a tribunal shall not consider a foreign legal code or system which does not grant … the same fundamental liberties, rights and privileges" as guaranteed by the federal and state constitutions. Introduced in November, it follows the American Laws for American Courts (ALAC) model and makes no mention of Shari'a. A preliminary memo sent to legislators last June in the name of Rep. RoseMarie Swanger, HB 2029's chief sponsor, does highlight Islamic law, but she later said that it had been circulated accidentally. Regardless, concerns about Shari'a are warranted due to its many provisions that conflict with the standards of American jurisprudence. For example, it disadvantages women in terms of inheritance, divorce, child custody, and other areas of family law. Shari'a already has shaped numerous cases nationwide, including in Pennsylvania, where one state court decided how assets should be distributed according to Islam.
 
Pushback against HB 2029 has been led by the Philadelphia office of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-PA) and was punctuated by an interfaith press conference (video here) at CAIR-PA headquarters on December 14. The overall campaign reflects CAIR's usual recipe of distortion, victimology, and contradiction between words and deeds.
 
Attacks on bills like HB 2029 begin by sowing confusion about Shari'a. Because Islamic law encompasses virtually every facet of life — governing personal activities such as eating and worship, but also forming an oppressive social and legal structure — suit-and-tie Islamists work to emphasize its unthreatening pieces whenever possible. CAIR-PA executive director Moein Khawaja's suggestion that Shari'a should worry Pennsylvanians no more than halal gyros is a fine example of this technique.
 
Others brazenly misrepresent the unsavory components, as Haider Ala Hamoudi, a University of Pittsburgh law professor, did when he was interviewed by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Hamoudi insisted that women and children would suffer if judges could not consider Shari'a — a stretch, given how it discriminates against women, including in disputes over children. Moving beyond the types of cases that are adjudicated in U.S. courts, he depicted the requirement of testimony by four male witnesses to convict someone of adultery as an exemplar of Islamic enlightenment that protects against false accusations. In practice, however, it can be a nightmare for women in those Muslim countries where the same scriptural passages are interpreted as mandating four witnesses even to prove rape. Robert Spencer further explains, "If the required male witnesses can't be found, the victim's charge of rape becomes an admission of adultery," too often leading to her imprisonment.
 
Hamoudi also contended that harsh punishments used in Iran and elsewhere, like cutting off hands for stealing, have little to do with Shari'a and are "more a matter of identity politics" in response to Western influence. The man deserves credit for artful misdirection, as it is not every day that brutal penalties prescribed by the Koran itself are chalked up to blowback from cultural imperialism.
When distortion of Shari'a is insufficient, Islamists and their collaborators characterize Muslims as the targets of a shadowy cabal of "Islamophobes." Hence, Pennsylvanians were treated to Marwan Kreidie, a major figure in the Philadelphia Islamist scene, describing Swanger's faith-neutral bill as "an exercise in discrimination" and claiming that "there's a conspiracy afoot here." CAIR-PA's Khawaja followed up by taking the ad hominem route, trashing HB 2029 as the brainchild of "anti-Muslim, white supremacist David Yerushalmi." Yet no hyperbole topped that of Rabbi Linda Holtzman, who played the Nazi card at CAIR-PA's press conference. "The echoes for me are strong of Germany in the 1930s," she said, "when repeatedly Jewish law was brought forward and defamed in the courts as a means of defaming all of Jewish tradition." Aside from the sheer ugliness of the analogy, Shari'a could be "defamed" only by spreading inaccuracies about it. HB 2029 does not reference Islam or Islamic law, while the memo correctly labels Shari'a as "inherently hostile to our constitutional liberties." Sometimes the truth hurts.
 
Islamists also maintain that bills such as HB 2029 are unnecessary because, they say, there is no attempt by adherents of Islam to undermine the American legal system, but their actions away from the cameras inevitably belie their soothing words. Indeed, not long after it issued a press release dismissing concerns about the advance of Shari'a as "conspiracy theories" to be "mocked," CAIR-PA announced that its 2012 banquet will be headlined by two men who have expressed support for transforming the U.S. into a Shari'a-run state: Siraj Wahhaj and Sherman Jackson.
 
Wahhaj, a radical imam who appeared on a federal prosecutor's "list of unindicted persons who may be alleged as co-conspirators" in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, has warned that "unless America … accepts the Islamic agenda," it will fall. He has talked positively of Islamic law supplanting the U.S. Constitution and opined that "if only Muslims were clever politically, they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate."
 
Jackson, now a professor at USC, has been equally explicit. Calling him "an outspoken proponent of the Islamist subversion of Western civilization," Cinnamon Stillwell explains that in a book Jackson coauthored, he "proposes that American Muslims approach the 'difficult task of penetrating, appropriating and redirecting American culture' … to 'influence the legal order in America.'" He writes that "once this is done, there are no Constitutional impediments to having these [Islamic] laws applied in the public domain." Jackson even muses about how gradual "changes in American culture" could result in the normalization of barbaric punishments such as stoning and flogging.
In short, Islamists do not merely insult the character of those who back bills like HB 2029; they insult the intelligence of all through claims that turn reality on its head and are contradicted by their own actions. Nothing less should be expected. They obfuscate Islamic law and portray Muslims as victims because the facts about Shari'a simply are not palatable to most Americans. Moreover, stealth jihadists shamelessly say one thing and do another because they have faith that the mainstream media will not hold them accountable.
 
How to proceed? Education neutralizes falsehoods, so Americans need to continue the long-term project of informing themselves about Shari'a and the challenge it presents; useful resources may be found at this website. Likewise, all politicians must learn to speak more precisely about Islamic law, carefully distinguishing between practices that are protected by the U.S. Constitution and those that are not, thus minimizing the confusion that Islamists exploit. As for individuals who equate Nazism with defending Americans from foreign laws that infringe on fundamental rights, they should be called out for affronting both history and decency. Citizens also must encourage legislators to press on with these bills despite Islamist propaganda, biased media, and the occasional scolding from their multiculturalism-obsessed counterparts; readers wishing to contact the primary sponsor of HB 2029 may do so here.
 
Finally, as Islamist groups often argue against restrictions on foreign law by denying the existence of any campaign to insinuate Shari'a into American society, their own records of participating in this very movement should be hung around their necks for all to see. Given that much of the opposition to ALAC-inspired efforts throughout the U.S. has been helmed by branches of CAIR — an offspring of the Muslim Brotherhood, which dreams of implementing Islamic law worldwide and describes its mission in North America as "eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within" — the letters, op-eds, and blog posts can practically write themselves.
 
While it is important to wade into the details and answer specific criticisms of bills to curb foreign law, the best defense may be a good offense. Just as Islamists make the supporters of such legislation an issue by smearing them as bigots, those supporters must make the opponents an issue by exposing their rank dishonesty and jihadist objectives, which comprise exactly the kind of subversion that these bills are designed to thwart.

However upon researching the subject I readily learned the evil outcomes were much worse than how I knew it as a child, and after receiving denials from Muslims (Sunni, I believe) to something I said with regard to the injustice of this law in the reporter Jill Carroll situation. To start off, here are some short news items of 2006 on the unbelievable case of Jill Carroll a kidnapped victim actually slated to be tried under Shariah Law.

As I previously said, the denials and sidestepping of obvious facts by some Muslims (Sunni, I believe) I spoke with just made me realize I was only seeing the tip of an iceberg. They threw up arguments that I had NOT provided sufficient facts, resorted to calling females half witnesses, of they are terrorist, etc. Just trying to rationalize the none rational injustice of the situation and Shariah Law.
 
Now most of the remainder of this article or should I say white paper will consist of short quotes on news items respect the unloving and injustice outcomes of Shariah Law or sometimes known as Hudood laws, and how they are not only unjust but designed to suppress women's rights. But first, some items of deficiencies and lack of love to look for when reading the news accounts.
 
DEFICINCIES AND LACK OF LOVE TO LOOK FOR IN NEWS ACCOUNTS:
 
[1] Only Islamic males can serve as a judge in a Shariah trial.
 
[2] Islamic authorities can issue a general FATAH which is especially efficient in rectifying situations in Islamic countries such as Iraq.
 
[3] Shariah Law does NOT have an effective appeal process; therefore, according to the greatest authority on law, Blackstone, any law without an effective appeal process is BAD LAW.
 
[4] Shariah Law does NOT provide for a trial by jury.
 
[5] Shariah law considers women as only half human. How so? We all know that a witness is, i.e., someone who has personal knowledge of something that has happened; however, under Shariah Law, if this person happens to be a women, her testimony is only counted as one/half as valid as a man. 
 
However, as I told one of the deniers, "There is no such thing in reality as a half witness; either one has seen, witnesses, something or he/she has not. Calling someone a half witness is an outright untruth and discrimination not only against the person so called, but against reality and truth. Wake up to the facts." 
 
Here is a quote on the subject, "At trial, the judge questioned the defendant about the claim made against him. If the defendant denied the claim, the judge then asked the accuser, who had the burden of proof, to present his evidence. Evidence almost always took the form of the direct testimony of two male witnesses of good character (four in adultery cases). Circumstantial evidence and documents were usually inadmissible. Female witnesses were not allowed except in cases where they held special knowledge, such as childbirth. In such cases, two female witnesses were needed for every male witness. My comment, "I clearly listed the injustice, a women being treated 2 nd. Rate to a man. There is no excuse for this at any time and/or place. And I know of what I speak as I personally experienced it. Now are you denying and/or sidestepping what I said with respect to the discriminated against females with regard to our testimony not being equal to that of a male which of course is both stupid and unjust and/or are you disputing the findings of Dr. David A. Kolb. Who in his research found no difference with respect the reliability and memory of women that would in any way disqualify them from making good witnesses."
 
[6] Shariah Law makes it illegal for a women to ride in a taxi or other public conveyance without a male member of her family; this is the ultimate suppression.
 
[7] Shariah Law as applied in some areas even condones raping a women if she is not covering her face or wearing a headscarf, and sentences women to death for killing their attacker, the rapist while resisting.. I know this sounds unbelievable, but believe me it is true as you will see.
 
ACTUAL TWO WAY DISCUSSION WITH MUSLIMS [Sunni, I believe] ON FAILURE OF ISLAMIC AUTORITY IN IRAQ:
 
Now let's consider what the Islamic authorities in Iraq should have done immediately in this case and HAVE NOT DONE as of this date.
 
They should have issued a general FATWA (ÝÊæì) against the kidnappers of Jill Carroll and their accomplices before and after the fact which removed all rights of Islam from them, to use a Catholic term, excommunicated them. Now one may ask what would that accomplish. 
 
First, the criminals would NOT be able to hold a Shariah since as per fact [1] Iin previous section 'only Islamic males can serve as a judge in a Shariah trial, and they would no longer be such.
 
Second, it would have brought tremendous pressure on the perverted criminals since as we all know Iraq is a Islamic country.
 
And here is an actual question I put to the deniers. 
"Now do you agree or disagree that per Hadity, only members of Islam can serve as judges in Sharia cases? Let me hear your answer!" PS: this case really has me ticked off.
 
The denier's reply, "Only Muslims can serve as judges in Islamic Sharia Cases. What exactly does that prove?"
 
Well let's fact it, I have already shown the significance of this. Now on to the actual news cases in brief.

KANO, Nigeria (Reuters) - A court in the northern Nigerian city of Kano has fined 45 motorcycle taxi riders for transporting women, in violation of a new rule to comply with Islamic Sharia law, a court official said on Friday. The ban on women passengers, brought in last year to make Kano state traffic laws compatible with Sharia, has caused controversy in the city, which is predominantly Muslim but has a sizable Christian community. Hisbah committees, or volunteers who help uphold Sharia, have clashed with motorcycle taxi riders caught with women passengers. Women are supposed to ride in special motorised...

Sudan: Criticising Islam & death threat over a woman
On September 26th members of Islamic government of Sudan issued a fatwa on best-selling author Kola Boof, a Sudanese woman's writer who lives in California. The details of the fatwa: Kola Boof has been found guilty of "Blasphemy and Treason" Ms. Boof is to be beheaded. The matter was ratified by the following: Hassan Turabi (National Islamic Front), Ali Muhammad Taha (NIF), Sharif al-Tuhami (NIF) Tanzim Wasti (London's Sudan Committee), Saad Faqih and Mohammed Sobieh.
 
Kola Boof points out that she has not been Muslim since around 10 and that the men issuing the fatwa are not qualified to do so. Ms. Boof states that she has been receiving "death messages" and warnings to "shut up" from Sudanese government officials by telephone since February 2002. Leader of the NIF, Hassan Turabi, under house arrest by Khartoum Regime has been especially threatening Boof.
 
A diplomat from Sudan's government, Gamal Ibrahaim, wrote a scathing article about Kola Boof in London's largest daily Arabic newspaper, "Al-Sharq al- Awsat in which he basically called Kola Boof, "a blasphemer of Islam" "mentally unstable"..."a prostitute" and "a liar".

Nosrat Abouii, a woman who was stoned in Yazd prison managed to escape while she was being stoned but was arrested immediately by the government and put in jail.
According to Islamic Sharia, women are buried up to their armpits for stoning, while men are buried up to their waist. Earlier, on September 25, Goli Nik-Khou was stoned to death after serving her 15 -year sentence in the town of Naqadeh, western Iran.
At the moment there are four women - Ferdows, Ashraf, Sima and Shahnaz - in prison waiting to be stoned to death.

I have been wrestling with the rights and wrongs of attitudes expressed by Muslim spokesmen, both here in the United States and around the world, since the World Trade Center attack last year. I am not a Muslim, or an expert on Islam, but I have been trying to understand how the world looks from an "Islamic" or "Arabic" perspective. I've wanted to understand why so much public commentary by Muslim spokesmen sounds wrong to my Western ears. I've concluded that much of the Islamic world is doing a poor job of facing up to some grim realities, and doing a good job of blaming everyone else (especially the US and Israel) for their self-inflicted injuries.
 
So here is my message to the Islamic world. I believe you need to do the following:
 
1) Acknowledge that every nation of significance that has embraced Islam as the state religion, and has tried to govern according to the laws of Sharia, is a miserable failure. Egypt, Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia: These are totalitarian nations that repress their own citizens every bit as savagely as did the former Soviet Union. Citizens in these countries have no freedom, no rights, and no hope for a better life. They cannot speak freely. They can be arrested, imprisoned, tortured, or killed for any reason. The governing authorities can even order mass slaughter of their own people at will (witness Syria).
 
Part of the reason for the abject failure of these nations is the tribal origins of their peoples. After communism, tribalism has been responsible for more slaughter and suffering than any other single cause in history. Tribal communities are, by definition, barbarian. True civilization arises only when tribal limitations are relegated to the dustbin of history.
 
Another reason for their failure is Islam itself. The laws of Sharia assume that the highest principle of governance is justice, not freedom., Justice in this case, means that decisions are made by religious authorities in consonance with the teachings of the Koran [Quran]. There are no checks on the power of these authorities, as their mandate is given as coming straight from God. Thus Sharia forbids the notion of rule by the people, with laws being made by the people and their elected representatives.
 
In contrast, Western civilization holds freedom as the highest principle of governance. Government is by the people, for the people. Laws are made by the people and their elected representatives. Western civilization, and especially American civilization, is based on the concept of preserving freedom by limiting powers through a system of checks and balances. Laws are, deliberately, man made, not taken as coming from God, although religious (Judeo-Christian) teachings are influential in guiding legislation.
 
The bottom line is that no successful civilization of significant size can exist without the separation of church and state. The weight of history has demonstrated this over and over again, as the utter failure of Islamic nations shows. Sharia prohibits this separation, therefore Sharia must be discarded.

Legislation allows the Sharia court to hear any criminal case that falls under Islamic laws called the Hudood laws. These cases include rape and adultery. [source - BBC]

An Islamic cleric in Denmark has demanded that all girls from Muslim families be circumcised. Mustafa Abdullahi Aden said: "It is good for girls to be circumcised. It is a sign that they are true Muslims." He recommended a method that involves the removal of both the clitoris and the labia. The imam said that Islamic tradition must take precedence over Danish law.
 
His remarks provoked a backlash among the mainstream leaders of Denmark's political parties. Main party leaders demanded that doctors inspect the girls at school, and if it is found that they have been mutilated, their parents must be prosecuted.
 
FGM is against the law in Denmark, although there is little that the authorities can do to stop parents sending their daughters on "holiday" to countries that where the barbarism is legal.
 
The Right-wing nationalist Danish People's Party demanded that girls who are found to have been genitally mutilated should be taken away from their parents, placed in foster homes, and the parents expelled from the country. But school doctors resisted the call, saying that enforced examination would simply keep the children away from school.
Danish health authorities estimate that about 3,000 girls up to the age of ten are at risk.

The newspaper reported that the woman, identified only as Nazanin, testified during her trial that she and her niece were out with their boyfriends when they were accosted by two men who chased away the boyfriends then tried to rape the two young women.
 
Nazanin admitted stabbing one of the men to prevent her and her niece from being assaulted.
 
Nazanin was only 17 years old at the time, but under Iranian law a boy can be executed from the age of 15 and a girl from the age of nine.

Mukhtaran Bibi (??????? ?????) (c. 1972 - ) is a Pakistani woman from the small and impoverished village of Meerwala, located in the rural tehsil (county) of Jatoi in the Muzaffargarh District of Pakistan. Also known as Mukhtar Mai, Mukhtiar or just Mukhtaran, she was gang-raped on the demands of tribesmen - or by some accounts, on the orders of a panchayat (tribal council) - of a local clan known as the Mastoi. The Mastoi clan reportedly had bitter disputes with Mukhtaran's clan, the Tatla.
After the conviction of her attackers, Mukhtaran became a symbol for advocates for the health and security of women in her region, attracting both national and international attention to these issues. Pakistani then President Pervez Musharraf awarded Mukhtaran a financial settlement of Rs.500,000 (about US$8000) which she used to build two local schools, one for girls and another for boys. There were no schools for girls in Mukhtaran's village before this and she never had the opportunity to get an education. Some Western donors have also come forward with contributions.

In Australia this week amidst anger over an Islamic man's rape conviction and the bashing of two Aussie life savers, working-class locals erupted in a rampage of anger and brawling in some of the worst racial riots in decades. Four days after he set foot in Australia, the rape spree began. And during his sexual assault trial in a New South Wales courtroom, the Pakistani man began to berate one of his tearful 14-year-old victims because she had the temerity to shake her head at his testimony. 
 
But she had every reason to express her disgust. After taking an oath on the Qur'an, the man - known only as MSK - told the court he had committed four attacks on girls as young as 13 because they had no right to say "no." They were not covering their face or wearing a headscarf, and therefore, the rapist proclaimed: "I'm not doing anything wrong."
 
MSK is already serving a 22-year jail term for leading his three younger brothers in a gang rape of two other young Sydney girls in 2002. In his own defense, he argued that his cultural background, was responsible for his crimes.

Shariah Law or Islamic Law contradicts with Australian culture in that; 
§ Alcohol is forbidden. 
§ Honour killing of daughters, wives and mothers for "sexual mis-conduct" is permitted (this includes being raped). 
§ Women are inferior to men, for example, the value of a woman's testimony is half that of a mans. 
§ Muslim men can have up to four wives, with his rights divine. Punishment for leaving the religion is death. 
 
While some believe this is only true of militant or extreme Muslims, moderate Muslims share exactly the same goals and values. For example, Islam is promoted through war; as shown in quotes from the English translation of the Holy Quran (Koran), published by Penguin Classics (1997).

In Europe, Muslims numbers have doubled over the last 30 years and now make up more than a quarter of the population of Marseilles and 15% in Paris and Brussels. Within a decade, Muslims will form the bulk of the population in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. However, Muslim numbers will not swell purely through immigration, but also through their high birthrate. For example, the most popular boys name in Brussels over the past four years has been Mohammed. It has been predicted that by 2070 there will be a Muslim majority in Europe, first France, followed by the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. (The Weekend Australian, November 26-27, 2005). 
 
The Australian Federal Government is funding the expansion of Islam in Australia with multi-millions of dollars for the development of Islamic schools, while funding to State Government schools and Tertiary Institutions decreases. Currently there are 100 Islamic schools in Australia. The NSW Education Dept. publications push the Muslim cause, for example the 2004 issue of Inform featured a Muslim girl wearing a scarf. The Education Resource Guide also features a Muslim girl in Muslim uniform. However, there has not been an equal emphasis of other religious groups like Christians or Jews. 
 
Racist rapes: Finally the truth comes out 
So now we know the facts, straight from the Supreme Court, that a group of Lebanese Muslim gang rapists from south-western Sydney hunted their victims on the basis of their ethnicity and subjected them to hours of degrading, dehumanising torture. The young women, and girls as young as 14, were "sluts" and "Aussie pigs", the rapists said. So now that some of the perpetrators are in jail, will those people who cried racism and media "sensationalism" hang their heads in shame? Hardly. 
 
The journalists, academics, legal brains and politicians who tried to claim last August that the gang rapes of south-western Sydney were just a run-of-the-mill police blotter story being beaten up by racists, scaremongers and political opportunists don't ever want to acknowledge the truth about that ugly episode in Australian history. They don't want to acknowledge the fear and tension that ran through a part of Sydney they rarely visit and can never understand. 
 
This newspaper was the first to report the story, which had been common knowledge in police and media circles, and it has never censored the race element. 
Even last week, with the conviction of two brothers for their part in the gang rape of Miss D, who was 16 when she was held at gunpoint in a Greenacre park, there were media outlets that downplayed the story and air-brushed race from it. Yet the victims have been crying out for the truth to be told. In court on Friday, one victim gave another a card on which she had written you're an Australian," the rapists told her during the five-hour attack.It's just so inconvenient of the victims to insist on telling the truth. "I looked in his eyes. I had never seen such indifference," one 18-year-old victim, codenamed Miss C, told the court, remembering one of the 14 men who called her "Aussie pig", gang raped her 25 times over a six-hour period in Bankstown and Chullora, and then turned a hose on her. "I'm going to f*** you Leb style," he said. 
 
Fourteen gang rapists have been convicted, or pleaded guilty, thanks to the courage of seven victims who testified for days in court as their tormentors smirked nearby, the men's families threatened them and defence lawyers suggested they had enjoyed the rapes. "They're very brave, very strong and very courageous young women," said Salvation Army Major Joyce Harmer, who held the hands of many of the victims through the trials. "They knew this was something they had to do." 
 
These were racist crimes. They were hate crimes. The rapists chose their victims on the basis of race. That fact is crucial to this story. If the perpetrators had been Anglo-Celtic Australians, the furore would have been enormous. No newspaper would have left out that fact and you can bet the guilt and shame would have been spread far and wide. 
Multiculturalism serves to encourage ethnic groups to form niche communities rather than assimilating into a homogenous society. Multiculturalism will never work in Australia with Muslims as they are prohibited from friendship with non-Muslims. (Suras 4:144, 5:51). There is no integration or assimilation with Multiculturalism. 
 
Western Countries face the first defeat in history by non-military means. Australians like Europeans, face becoming a minority in their own country by demographic change due to population flows that we seem to have little say in. Your grandchildren will suffer the consequences of an unchallenged migration program that ensures we could not in the future, challenge the implementation of Shariah law. 
 
WHY? Once any one group (ethnic or religious) become the majority it is their culture and ideals that become the norm and eventually legislated, which is called a DEMOCRACY. It is their voting majority right. 
 
Did you know that 90-95% of the conflicts in the world today are Muslims fighting non-muslims or each other? 
 
Islam is intolerant of other religions, so much so that Christians in Nigeria, Sudan and middle eastern countries are killed for practicing their religion. Muslims are also responsible for burning down their churches. Sydney has recently seen an attack on four churches for similar reasons. (December 16, 2005) How can we tolerate such intolerance? 
 
WHAT YOU CAN DO 
 
Learn more and educate yourself beyond the regular channels of information such as TV / Radio and daily newspapers. 
 
Access citizens media via personal blogs, websites, radiocasts, alternative newspapers and avoid the politically correct filters currently enforced by so many outlets today. Join groups such as; 
 
Support legislation/groups that demand integration/assimilation of new arrivals as a mandated minimum requirement.
 
Learn to view common "name calling' like racist, flag waver or patriot for what it is, an attempt to shutdown informed debate when someone cannot argue further with you and reverts to slurs.
 
Encourage discussion on immigration, with your friends, workmates and strangers. Immigration is not a taboo subject, nor does it make you "racist". 
Contact the Government, start a petition and tell others.

The Lahore high court ruled on 10 June 2005 that the rapists must be released. Just over two weeks later the supreme court suspended those acquittals and ruled that the men, along with six more who were acquitted at the original trial, would be retried. [1]
Also on 10 June 2005, shortly before she was scheduled to fly to London on the invitation of Amnesty International, Mukhtaran was put on Pakistan's Exit-Control List (ECL) [2], a list of people prohibited from traveling abroad, a move that prompted protest in Pakistan and around the world.
 
On 17 June 2005, Musharraf in a press conference in Auckland, New Zealand revealed that he had ordered the travel ban to protect Pakistan's image abroad.
Musharraf said Mukhtaran Mai was being taken to the United States by foreign non-government organisations ("NGOs") "to bad-mouth Pakistan" over the "terrible state" of the nation's women. He said NGOs are "Westernised fringe elements" which "are as bad as the Islamic extremists". [3]
 
On 15 June 2005, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz ordered Mukhtaran's name removed from the ECL (Mukhtaran allowed to go abroad, NA told). However, it was reported on 19 June 2005, by New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof, that as Mai returned from the US embassy in Islamabad, after getting her passport stamped with a US visa, it was confiscated once again, rendering her unable to travel outside the country [4].
On 29 June 2005, on his personal web site [5] Musharraf wrote that "Mukhtaran Mai is free to go wherever she pleases, meet whoever she wants and say whatever she pleases."
On 2 August 2005, the Pakistani government awarded Mukhtaran the Fatima Jinnah gold medal for bravery and courage.
 
On 2 November 2005, The US magazine Glamour named Mukhtaran as their Woman Of The Year. Upon her visit to the United States, President Musharraf told the Washington Post that claiming rape had become a "moneymaking concern" in Pakistan. Musharraf denied making the comment, prompting the Post to issue a tape of the interview.[6]
On 12 January 2006, Mukhtaran Mai published her memoir with the collaboration of Marie-Thérèse Cuny under the title "Déshonorée". The originating publisher of the book is OH ! Editions in France and her book is published simultenaously in german by Droemer Verlag under the title "Die Schuld, eine Frau zu sein".
 
On 12 January 2006, To coincide with the publication of her memoir, Mukhtaran Mai will be in Paris (France) from the 12th to the 17th January. She will be attending a press conference on Thursday 12th, at the headquarters of The International Federation for Human Rights.
 
Mukhtaran was originally slated to speak at the United Nations on 20 January 2006, but the UN postponed the visit at the last minute after Pakistan complained that her appearance was scheduled for the same day as a visit by Aziz. The UN wanted to move it to sometime after 24 January, but since Mukhtaran was due to leave New York on 21 January, Islamabad's complaint effectively cancelled the visit. She claimed she was not going to say anything bad about Pakistan or its government. "I was just going to talk about my work and what people are doing," she told the Times. Aziz claimed he didn't know that Mukhtaran was due to appear. [note, no effective appeal mechanism in Shariah, had to go to secular court].

No one has any need to educate himself/herself with regard to any unjust law to know that it is unjust, please get real. TRUE Justice is NOT suppression of women. I find it strange that so far no one has addressed the Sharia case of newspaper women Carroll which of course is an extreme injustice. It can not be passed off by saying the judges are terrorist as first of all since they are invoking Sharia law they are Muslims. Remember per Hadith only members of Islam can invoke Sharia and act as judges in Sharia cases.

4. We go for Hajj, but we have not been able to develop a unified Ummah, a community that transcends nationalistic divisions.
 
5. We recite the Qur'an many times, but we do not try to understand its meaning and message.
 
6. We talk of the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) but this is mostly related to appearances. We pay little attention to Prophet's character of love, kindness, honesty, truthfulness, sincerity, fulfilling promises, and so on."
 
It is our responsibility to know the rules of Allah and put them into practice with sincerity. But before anything, we should ask ourselves if we are really practicing justice. Are we really fair to others, to our spouses, to our relatives, to our neighbors, employees, employers, to Muslims, to other human beings, to animals, to anything and everything? Are we really compassionate people? Are we really increasing in compassion or are we becoming angry, hateful, arrogant, or complacent about ourselves? We must improve ourselves in justice and compassion. If we do not have `adl (justice) and ihsan (compassion) or rahmah (mercy), then we are not practicing the Shari`ah. Similarly, if we think that we are following the law of Allah but the result is injustice and lack of compassion, then it means that we have not properly understood the law of Allah or we are not interpreting it right."
 
Apparently there is no "light at the end of tunnel" in areas where Shariah is in force. Why? Simple Shariah Law turned off the light of true justice and love.

SRINAGAR, India (Reuters) - Two militants hiding automatic rifles and grenades in cricket kit opened fire on a paramilitary camp on the Indian side of Kashmir on Wednesday, killing five Indian personnel and wounding five, police said.
The militants were killed in a gunfight at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) base just outside the restive city of Srinagar, which has been under curfew for much of the last few weeks following protests and clashes with police.
Local media reports said that Hizbul Mujahideen, the bitterly disputed region's largest militant group, had claimed responsibility for the attack, in which three civilians were also wounded.
Police said the gunmen approached the camp by mingling with children playing cricket in a nearby field, hiding their weapons in cricket kit they were carrying. Once at the camp, they shot a sentry dead and then fired indiscriminately into the base.
"A division of the CRPF was deployed at a camp here and children were playing cricket in the field when two militants fired grenades and attacked our division," Abdul Gani Mir, Inspector General of Police, told Reuters TV. "We have lost five of our CRPF personnel who gunned down the two militants."
One police official said earlier the gunmen were dressed as cricketers.
Militants often attacked security bases in Kashmir during the 1990s, when there was a full-blown insurgency against Indian rule in a region over which India and Pakistan fought two of their three wars. But there have been very few in recent years.
Hizbul Mujahideen, the most active militant group in Kashmir during the height of the unrest, wants Kashmir to become part of predominantly Muslim Pakistan. Nuclear-armed India and Pakistan both claim the region of Kashmir in full but rule it in part.
Tensions have been running high in Srinagar since last month, when India hanged a Kashmiri man for an attack on the country's parliament in 2001. The authorities have sought to quash clashes between protesters and police by imposing curfews.
Police said a group of youths hurled stones at a vehicle taking those who were injured in the paramilitary camp attack to hospital, and one of them was injured when CRPF officials opened fire. A hospital official said the youth subsequently died.

The homemade device, hidden in a motorcycle parked outside the busy parlor, killed five people, including a Canadian teacher and three masseuses. All 30 surviving massage workers quit on the spot. Within days, the parents of the three dead women came to take their daughters' bodies home.

"One father asked, 'Why my child? She was a good girl,' " said New Cherry owner Boonchai Sangmankung. "And I couldn't answer him. I don't know myself. Why do the attacks continue? Why are more innocent people killed every day?"

Since 2004, militants in Thailand's predominantly Muslim south have waged a bloody separatist insurgency against the cultural elite of this largely Buddhist nation, targeting teachers, monks, community leaders and government officials. So far, 1,700 people have been killed, yet the campaign of almost-daily bombings, arson attacks, kidnappings and assassinations has gone largely unnoticed in a Western world fixated on higher-profile Islamic terrorism campaigns in Iraq and elsewhere.

"The violence in southern Thailand is quite significant compared to many other world conflicts today," said Panitan Wattanayagorn, a political scientist at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. "The U.S. lost 3,000 soldiers in three years in Iraq. This death toll is not far behind." ...

Many Muslim residents still chafe over what they consider a century of abusive rule. But experts differ over the roots of the insurgency. Some say it's a battle over religious freedom, others say it's a fight for territory and self-rule. Still others say it's both...

In the first six months of 2006, two people died every day, on average: A Buddhist teacher was gunned down in front of his fourth-grade class by men dressed as students. In August, 22 small bombs exploded nearly simultaneously in banks throughout southern Yala province, killing one person and bringing commerce to a standstill. Two months earlier, 50 bombs went off in a single day at government offices and police stations.

Last year, 15 militants stormed a Buddhist temple and hacked two monks to death before setting fire to their bodies. Thai officials believe that 30,000 Buddhists have fled the south since the attack. Head of US Africa Command Warns of Islamic Threat
The chief of the U.S. Africa Command warned on Friday that threats from Islamic extremists in Africa are increasing and if unchecked could pose a greater danger to American interests and allies.
Army Gen. Carter Ham faced some wary members of the House Armed Services Committee, who questioned a robust U.S. military involvement in Africa after more than a decade of war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ham said the threats in Africa do not match al-Qaida or the Taliban in Afghanistan, "but the trend is not good."
"I think we have an opportunity now to work preventive effort in concert with African forces and with allies and friends globally to suppress the threat, to reverse the trend, which is increasingly worrisome to me," Ham told the committee. "And that does not necessitate a large commitment of U.S. forces. And I do not believe that a large commitment of U.S. forces is either necessary nor appropriate under the current circumstance."
Ham cited the growing collaboration between the Nigerian-based radical sect Boko Haram and al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), which bases its operations in Mali. The general said AQIM is the wealthiest affiliate of al-Qaida, due in part to ransom from kidnappings and the drug trade, and the group has been financing Boko Haram.
The two groups also have shared training and fighters.
Boko Haram has targeted Nigeria's weak central government with guerrilla attacks. Pressed on whether it had any intent on striking in the United States, Ham said some elements of the group are looking to attack beyond Africa to Europe and the United States.
"I think that's why it's important for us in partnership with Nigeria and others ... to help them counter this before their capability matches their intent," Ham said.
The challenge facing the U.S. military is determining which groups have legitimate ties to a terrorist organization such as al-Qaida and which are organizations dissatisfied with their government.
Ham also complained about "significant shortfalls in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance" as he tries to carry out his mission.
Ham's testimony came as the United States has increased training efforts in several African nations amid widespread insurgent violence across North Africa.
AQIM-linked terrorists are believed to have played a key role in the attack last September on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.
Ham, who took over Africa Command in March 2011, is stepping down and will be replaced by Army Gen. David Rodriguez.

Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.
 
Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.
 
When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well..
 
Here's how it works:
 
As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

It is important to understand that in some countries, with well under 100% Muslim populations, such as France, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law.
 
The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities.. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. Therefore, in some areas of certain nations, Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power than the national average would indicate.
 
Today's 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world's population. But their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, and all other believers. Muslims will exceed 50% of the world's population by the end of this century.
