Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Ephesians 2:2
Violence by false religions actually prove what the Bible says at 2Co 2:11, “That we be not overreached by Satan. For we are not ignorant of his devices.” Warning all to not become doers of wrong according to the will of Satan, and Satan keeps disguising himself and has been successful in misleading all the religious leaders of false religion and this is highlighted at, 2Co 11:14 “And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light., “ So all should change their life around and stop following Satan as noted at, Acts 26:18, “To open their eyes, that they may be converted from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a lot among the saints, by the faith that is in me.” (Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible; DRCB).

Make me know your own ways, O Jehovah; teach me your own paths. Make me walk in your truth.—Psalms 25:4, 5.
What if we simply lack motivation to do more in Jehovah’s service and are inclined to coast along in the congregation? Paul states: “God is the one that, for the sake of his good pleasure, is acting within you in order for you both to will and to act.” Yes, Jehovah can act within us and affect our will, or desires. (Phil. 2:13; 4:13) Should we not, then, ask Jehovah to make us want to do his will? King David of ancient Israel did just that, as shown in the words of today’s text. We can do the same by praying that Jehovah will make us want to do what pleases him. When we reflect upon how Jehovah God and his Son feel about what we do in serving their interests, our hearts are filled with appreciation for them. (Matt. 26:6-10; Luke 21:1-4) That feeling of gratitude can move us to beg Jehovah to make us want to make spiritual advancement.

Jesus has become the one given in pledge of a better covenant.—Hebrews 7:22.
In his letter to the Hebrews, Paul explained that the tabernacle was merely “a shadow of the heavenly things” and that Jesus became the Mediator of “a better covenant” than that mediated by Moses. (Heb. 8:1-5) In Paul’s day, such explanations of the Law were invaluable to Christians, and they still are. They help us to grasp more fully the value of the provisions that God has made for us. Writing to the Romans, Paul directed some of his comments to congregation members who were of Jewish stock and who had been instructed in the Mosaic Law. He acknowledged that such ones had the advantage of possessing a “framework of the knowledge and of the truth” concerning Jehovah and his righteous principles. A grasp of that ‘framework of truth’ and heartfelt respect for it enabled Jewish Christians to guide, teach, and illuminate those who were in ignorance of the Law.—Rom. 2:17-20.

Be courageous and very strong . . . Jehovah your God is with you.—Joshua 1:7-9.
We may think of a courageous person as one who is strong, valiant, even bold. At times, however, quiet courage is needed in order to pursue an upright course in daily life. Some people of Bible record were fearless under very trying conditions. For instance, it took courage to be a witness of Jehovah among wicked ones on earth before the Flood of Noah’s day. Yet, Enoch, “the seventh one in line from Adam,” boldly delivered this prophetic message: “Look! Jehovah came with his holy myriads, to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly concerning all their ungodly deeds that they did in an ungodly way, and concerning all the shocking things that ungodly sinners spoke against him.” (Jude 14, 15) Enoch spoke in the past tense because that prophecy was sure to be fulfilled. And ungodly humans did perish in a global deluge!

Moses was by far the meekest of all the men who were upon the surface of the ground.—Numbers 12:3.
There is no indication that Moses often questioned Jehovah’s way of doing things or got annoyed at having to follow procedures that Jehovah set out. For example, Jehovah gave commands regarding the tabernacle construction down to the smallest detail, such as the color of the thread and the number of loops to be used in making the tent cloths. (Ex. 26:1-6) Yet, when he gives many details, he does so for good reason. Take note, though, that Moses did not become irritated with Jehovah for giving that level of detail, as if Jehovah were demeaning him or stifling his creativity or freedom. Rather, Moses made sure that the workers “did just so” in following God’s directions. (Ex. 39:32) What a humble course! Moses recognized that it was Jehovah’s work and that he was just a tool being used to get that work done.

Mere man sees what appears to the eyes; but as for Jehovah, he sees what the heart is.—1 Samuel 16:7.
He did not look like a king. Rather, to the prophet Samuel, he appeared to be nothing more than a young shepherd boy. Yet, God could discern David’s heart condition, and it was pleasing to him. With God, it is not the mere outward appearance that matters; it is what a person really is on the inside. So when Samuel learned that Jehovah had not chosen any of the seven older sons of Jesse, he asked that the youngest be brought in from the pastures. The account says: “Accordingly [Jesse] sent and had [David] come. Now he was ruddy, a young man with beautiful eyes and handsome in appearance. Then Jehovah said: ‘Get up, anoint him, for this is he!’ Accordingly Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the spirit of Jehovah began to be operative upon David from that day forward.”—1 Sam. 16:12, 13

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (Authorized King James Bible; AV)
Now what kind of faith will please Almighty God (YHWH)? FIRST, we must believe that he is. How could we possibly please Almighty God (YHWH) if we doubted his existence? SECOND, Yet genuine faity involves more, for even the deamons believe that He exist (James 2:19). As James 2:20 and 26 states, “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” and “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” [AV]. Clearly our belief should drive us to action. THIRD, We must believe that Almighty God (YHWH) is the rewarder. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 [AV]
Now whom does Almighty God (YHWH) reward? Those who are earnestly seeking him. Now how does He reward them? Revelation 21:3-4 states, “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” [AV] .

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Ge 1:26 (Authorized King James Bible; AV)
Many puzzle at this scripture since we are surely not made in their physical likeness. When man was created, he was made in God’s image, according to his likeness. This, of course, did not mean physical image or appearance, for God is a Spirit, and man is flesh. (Ge 6:3; Joh 4:24) It meant that man, was different from the “unreasoning animals” (2Pe 2:12), had reasoning power; he had attributes like those of God, such as love, a sense of justice, wisdom, and power. (Compare Col 3:10.) He had the ability to understand why he existed and his Creator’s purpose toward him. Hence he, unlike the animals, was given the capacity for spirituality. He could appreciate and worship his Creator. This capacity created a need in Adam. He needed more than literal food; he had to have spiritual sustenance; his spirituality had to be exercised for his mental and physical welfare. Since we are fleshly and they are spiritual beings. In fact, all human societies, be they primitive and/or advanced had an in-born need to worship is some fashion; whereas, NONE of the animals had this need.

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:13 – 14 (Authorized King James Bible; AV) .
Here the Apostle Paul was using an illustration liking someone lacking a lot of Biblical knowledge to a baby who used milk until he grows enough to eat solid food. To wit, learning to make wise decisions and to carry them out does not come easy. In fact, this is especially challenging for those who are just coming to a knowledge with respect Bible truths or making progress toward spiritual maturity. However, genuine progress is possible for such spiritual babes as the Bible refers to them. Just like a baby just learning to walk , the key to success usually lies in his taking small steps and doing so repeatedly. The same is also true with a spiritual babe when it comes to making wise decisions. The Apostle Paul in Hebrews 5:14 described mature individuals as those who “have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil” Both the words exercise and discern both imply making continuous and repeated effort, and that is what new spiritual ones need to do.

When, now, they had breakfasted, Jesus said to Simon Peter: “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him: “Yes, Lord, you know I have affection for you.” He said to him: “Feed my lambs.” (John 21:15)
John was a successful fisherman and the these were referring to the fish his group caught daily; whereas, his lambs were individuals that were interested in scriptural truths and better knowing Almighty God (YHWH), Jesus’ Father and his purpose for mankind. The importance of having John and the other apostles feed these spiritual truths was further emphasized at John 21:16 through 17 as follows, “Again he said to him, a second time: “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He said to him: “Yes, Lord, you know I have affection for you.” He said to him: “Shepherd my little sheep.” 17 He said to him the third time: “Simon son of John, do you have affection for me?” Peter became grieved that he said to him the third time: “Do you have affection for me?” So he said to him: “Lord, you know all things; you are aware that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him: “Feed my little sheep.” So Jesus wanted Simon Peter to be a fisherman of members of mankind that wanted to please their heavenly Father (YHWH); instead of fishing for fish.
